Just a slice of the Perfect Pepperoni
    Christine B.

We find this to be a pretty solid neighborhood pizza joint. It's not at all a fancy place and a lot of folks seem to take their orders to go. Since we don't live close we tend to eat there. They could do better in keeping the dining room cleaned up though. We split a Perfect Pepperoni Pizza: pepperoni, mozzarella, fresh basil and garlic. They're generous with all of the toppings and I like the crust. My husband says it reheats really well the next day if you crisp the slices in a pan. Twisted Pies is definitely a spot on our pizza rotation when we're in the mood.

    Lemon drop....

I went to the Douglasville, GA location on my BIRTHDAY! First of all the staff was wonderful! This was January and of course a football game was on. The bar staff was wonderful, friendly and veryyyyy busy. I ordered wings & fries. The lemon Drops were fantastic!! **The TO-GO pizzas were flying out the door like crazy!

    The Perfect Pepperoni Pizza

This is by far the best New York Pizza in the Phoenix area. 10 Stars! The wings are great too!

The pepperoni pizza has too much cheese. It's rubbery. It probably would taste better well done but I would definitely come give this place a second chance. It wasn't too bad but as a first impression, 100% yes. This Parmesan cheese has mold in the shaker and they gave me a coupon in return.

Now THIS is how a good "mom and pop shop" pizza should be!! We were QUITE impressed with the excellent quality ingredients on these pizzas! Thick fresh chewy mozzarella! The staff were awesome too. We visited on a Monday afternoon and were told their Monday special was BOGO free. Bonus! We got the Sweet and Spicy pizza that had the sweet and spicy honey drizzle. Yummy! But we got it on the side so we could adjust to our liking. We will absolutely go back, and you should too!

Very friendly and cozy spot. Thank you Turtle, you did great for your first day! And thank you Matt! We had the Stinging Hawaiian with bacon and garlic bread knots. It was very good!!! Will come back when in area again.

Saw this place in Yelp and had to try it! The customer service was great! Very polite and informative. We had the twisted pizza knots with pepperoni, sausage and jalapeños. Something that was a great cherry topper, was the basil they automatically added. The Cesar salad was delicious and fresh, and a good size to split with two people. We tried the wings, extra crispy, and it was delicious! It was pretty empty inside but there were many people getting orders to go, so they stay busy! The place was nice and clean, we will be back or order out when we host gatherings!

Poor excuse for a pizza. So salty it bordered on the inedible. The place itself is a dump. Bad ingredients, just not good pizza.

And then imagine finding out that said location is INSIDE an incredible brewery. Baby... when I tell you I almost ascended. Hello? Excuse me? Did the pizza and beer gods personally hear my dramatic little prayers? Did they not only bless us with this heavenly combo, but ALSO decide to rotate different pizza specials every single week just to keep me emotionally unstable? Because THEY. DID. I genuinely cannot stop talking about this place. At this point my friends are one more pizza rant away from blocking my number, but I refuse to apologize. Every single time I go, I convince myself this is my favorite pizza... and then next week they drop another masterpiece and suddenly I'm questioning everything I thought I knew about myself. What makes this place so ridiculously good is that they are fearless. They're out here using sauces as bases that other pizza places would clutch their pearls over. Ingredients that sound chaotic on paper somehow turn into the most beautiful, life-altering bite you've ever had. It's giving culinary drag performance. Bold. Unexpected. A little dramatic. Perfect execution. And the brewery vibe? Elite. The energy is fun, relaxed, a little loud in the best way, and honestly the perfect setting to destroy an entire pizza while pretending you'll "just have one slice." Lies. All lies. The beer pairings somehow make every flavor pop even more, which feels scientifically unfair. Also can we normalize restaurants understanding that pizza should be FUN? Because this place gets it. They're creative without being pretentious, experimental without losing quality, and somehow every pie still feels comforting and familiar while also making you gasp like you just heard fresh gossip. At this point I don't even ask what the special is anymore. I just trust them blindly like a toxic relationship, except this one actually delivers happiness. 10/10. Life-changing. Emotionally supportive pizza.

Located on the main drag of downtown Mesa you can eat inside or on the patio. There aren't servers, instead, you order at the front desk. The menu has a variety of options, mostly pizza (both classics and signature pies). There is also a bar area where you can grab a pint or two of local brews The interior was electric with people enjoying pizza, locations, watching the Olympics, and just unwinding for the day. We ordered a salad and a couple of pizzas. The salad came out first, and the pizzas weren't far behind Being a self-proclaimed pizza snob, the pizza was fine. It wasn't overly flavorful, and it didn't blow me away, but it also didn't disappoint. The salad was LOADED with toppings, and I was somewhat impressed there. Unfortunately, polling the group, the beer was slightly lackluster. But again, this spot is a fun vibe and is great if you want to hang out for a bit and enjoy a brewery/pizza parlor type atmosphere Some tips: When you're done with your drinks and meal consider walking down the Main Street and stopping by one of their many bars, museums, and other eateries There isn't a lot of parking off the main drag, but we were fortunate enough to find parking on a few different occasions Cheers!

She immediately told us the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes (we arrived at 7:19 and they close at 8), which already made the experience feel a bit rushed. We ordered a deep dish pepperoni and sausage pizza, a Caesar salad, fries, and water. The salad and fries came out quickly and were good, but we waited until 7:52 for the pizza. During that time, several staff members including what seemed to be a manager, were loudly yelling back and forth across the restaurant about staffing and schedules. With no music or TV volume, it was impossible not to hear, and it felt very unprofessional. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat empty. I had to ask three separate times for refills, and the third time I actually had to get up and find our server at the bar, where she was sitting, still discussing the schedule. When the pizza finally arrived, it was delicious. But basic things like Parmesan and pepper weren't offered. I had to flag someone down to ask. And even though we'd just received our food, the lights on the patio were turned off while we were eating, and we were brought a box very quickly, which felt like a not-so-subtle hint to leave. Overall, the food was good, but the customer service and atmosphere really took away from what should have been a nice birthday dinner for my daughter. Very disappointing experience.

We also got the fried mushrooms which were just okay to me. I mostly enjoyed them dipped in ranch. My friend got the buffalo chicken pizza too, and while I'm personally not a huge fan of that kind of pizza, they seemed to really enjoy it! It was quite heavy on the breading and there was a generous portion of cheese and sauce. We asked if we could substitute a salad in place of the spaghetti that it came with and our server did indicate they offer garlic sautéed spinach or broccoli so we selected the broccoli. She did not inform us that it came at an extra charge, though we would have still been happy to pay it, it's just nice to be informed ahead of time of any additional cost.
