This is kind of a bare place in a strip mall. The service was good. No complaints at all. The pizza looked really good. On the way home the car filled up with the smell of garlic. The pizza is good. But there is so much garlic on it, I wonder if there is any garlic left for sale anywhere in the state. There is so much garlic, my wife who LOVES garlic is noticing there is too much. We find this to be a pretty solid neighborhood pizza joint. It's not at all a fancy place and a lot of folks seem to take their orders to go. Since we don't live close we tend to eat there. They could do better in keeping the dining room cleaned up though. We split a Perfect Pepperoni Pizza: pepperoni, mozzarella, fresh basil and garlic. They're generous with all of the toppings and I like the crust. My husband says it reheats really well the next day if you crisp the slices in a pan. Saw this place in Yelp and had to try it! The customer service was great! Very polite and informative. We had the twisted pizza knots with pepperoni, sausage and jalapeños. Something that was a great cherry topper, was the basil they automatically added. The Cesar salad was delicious and fresh, and a good size to split with two people. We tried the wings, extra crispy, and it was delicious! It was pretty empty inside but there were many people getting orders to go, so they stay busy! I love pizza. We came down to stay in Mesa from Oregon Jan.-mid April. This place, their pizza, the staff is off the charts. Best Pizza in This area hands down. Staff always greeted me every time and a couple remembered my name. I made several recommendations at the Resort Park I'm staying in and they would go and mention me. I was given several discount cards and a couple of times a $ value off future purchase. They are accurate, quick and pizza is piping HOT. Thank you TPP for the wonderful pizzas. He likes to keep it simple, so we got a cheese pizza, cheesy bread, and I wanted to try the pizza muffins so I got those too! They said it would be ready in 20-25 minutes but it ended up being more like 35-40. For some reason their bathroom has no light as far as I could tell and it was pitch black so I had to use my phone light? Unless I was missing something haha. I use to love this place. It was always consistent. They just got new owners a couple of months ago. Initially when I ordered after this change things immediately felt like they were going downhill. I decided to wait a while because I know change can be hard but after this last time ordering I don't think I will anymore. The food takes an hour online and I use to think it was worth the wait but now when you arrive it takes like 10 minutes for them to figure out where your order is or finish cooking it. Whatever the case is, it just feels like an hour and 15 wait for 1 half pound of boneless wings seems excessive. Again, these wings were sooo good and now they're cold, dry, and soggy. Every time I've tried to order them I'm let down. They're going through changes inside as well.. looks like maybe a remodel? Either way I think the focus should be the food. It's just really sad. Great little pizza shop! Came last Sunday and it was nice to dine-in while watching Sunday Football. They have a decent size TV for a small shop. Waitress was great. Love when extra dipping sauce is given freely. Wings and unique twisted muffins were great. Whenever we are in the area, we will definitely be back! I ordered the Shirley which had all kinds of meats to include the Calabrese and Pepperoncinis. Let me say that is one of the best pizzas we have ever had and we have our pizza oven in the back yard. Dough was thin but still airy and fluffy with great char. As I continued perusing the menu I came across the pizza of the month - Gyro I need. Double yum, yum! Again the great crust, gyro meat, thinly sliced tomato with tzatziki on the side. So fresh and flavors exploding in your mouth. If your looking for amazing pizza, I highly recommend this place.
