I rarely go to KFC anymore due to my bad experiences the last few years in Las Vegas. I recently moved to Mustang and I usually only get the Chicken Pot Pie from KFC , but on the App they had a Special. Spend $10 and get a Free 3 Piece Dinner with 2 Sides , Biscuit , and a Drink. What a deal ! So I decide since I'm in a new town I would give them a try. Surprise it was actually pretty good. I still prefer another chicken chain , but they did a really good job. I got the Chicken Pot Pie and the Honey Bbq Chicken Sandwich which I never had before. For my Free Dinner I got 2 Breasts , 1 Wing , 2 Mashed Potatoes and Gravy , a Biscuit , and a Mt Dew. The Chicken Pot Pie was cooked perfectly and good as always. The Honey Bbq Chicken was fresh and hot , thick and juicy , I would get it again also. My son and daughter in law both tried it and said they liked it too. I got Extra Crispy Chicken and it was also fresh and hot and it tasted like fresh oil was used. You can really tell when they use old oil and it was not oily at all like the last time I got it in Vegas. I actually threw mine away last time and I got one piece Original and one piece Extra Crispy and they were both gross. The Mashed Potatoes and Gravy are always good too and these were right on the money. The Biscuit was also good and not hard or dried out. I ordered on the App and when I went to pick it up it was done and I had ordered like 5 minutes before. Fastest I've ever gotten my food at a KFC. Almost every time I've went somewhere else they've told me oh we don't have any Chicken Pot Pies ready and it will be 20 minutes. Okay , I will wait for a fresh Chicken Pot Pie since that is what I came here to get right. The lady at the counter was friendly and I checked my order before leaving and she asked did she put a straw in the bag for my drink and I said yes. I was really checking to make sure I had 2 Breasts since I've had it happen before at chicken places where they gave me a Thigh or 2 instead of Breasts. I would recommend coming here and I hope the next time I come I get the same quality of food and service I got this time. Merry Christmas. read more

Seriously needs more employees, better manager, and more preparation especially for the dinner rush. Also the drinks always taste weird from the fountain and the sweet tea is always old. The food isn't bad but always takes 15 mins no matter what. read more

I don't know what all the fuss is about. I picked up some lunch today at 10:30 this morning. I was in and out in no time. The window lady Sarah, was really nice. I received everything I asked for. When I went inside the floor was DISGUSTING and when I asked about my order, they HADN'T EVEN STARTED MAKING IT. Took over 15 minutes to get my food. Completely unorganized. I was asked to park in the front of the store and they'd bring my car out. There were 3 other cars doing the same and they all ended up going inside. So I did the same. They hadn't even started making it. Had no nuggets ready. Floors were disgusting. Again no organization what so ever. It doesn't take a Brain surgeon to go in order on food orders. I am afraid I am not going to make their stars go up with this review. I have waited about three weeks so that my temper had time to cool down and look at this rationally. First, let me say that I went to this particular KFC almost every Friday. My mom and dad live in a small town and that is what they wanted to eat when I came to see them every Friday. About 5 weeks before this incident, the person in the drive-through said, Hey, I have coupons for you to use. I spent approximately $40 to $50 every week there. I said wonderful; I'll take them. About 3 weeks ago, I was going through the drive-through ( I had forgotten to use them on the previous purchases) and told them I had $2 off the big box orders. I had four of them. When I got to the window, the woman said that her manager said that I could only use one of them. I looked at the coupons and said that it doesn't say that anywhere on this coupon book or the coupon itself. The young lady, who was new, I think, holds her hand to her ear and then looks at me and says my manager says if you want to go through the drive four times, then you can use one coupon each time. I wasn't happy. I don't think anyone would be, but maybe I am wrong. However, I looked at her and said, tell your manager that I will go somewhere else, and I left. This is just bad business. I spent anywhere from $200 to $250 there in a month. Now, I will not go there until I know that this manager is not there any longer. I have been in sales for a long time and I am not this clueless. I've not liked this whataburger location since covid, but my wife recommended we try it since I was next door. I did and was disappointed once again. We ordered 3 cobb salads with grilled chicken. They must have split the bacon between two of them and the 3rd didn't have any eggs. To top that, they have my number to another gentleman so the manager gave him my food . This is the worst KFC in the world. I order chicken sandwich for my 3 year old kid and half way the sandwich I noticed that the chicken is uncooked and still pink. My son was throwing up all night I ended up taking him to the hospital. The food is fine. KFC is still KFC. Fried chicken with their herbs and spices. Fast food is also fast food. The main problem is something from your order is likely not with your order. It is quite common for this establishment to forget an item or even mix up your order entirely. read more

BAD BUSINESS -------------------------------------------------- Two weeks ago I ordered food from KFC here in Mustang, got home and noticed the fast food chain failed to give me my correct order (left items out), called and talked to a manager and they told me they would correct their mistake by remaking my entire meal. This location is very dirty inside, smoke in the air, shelves behind the counter ar covered in dust and grease, windows have not been cleaned in years, stay in you car and use the drive through if you don't want to see a gross unclean resteraunt. read more

Wow! I have been hyper critical of KFC. I have found their restaurants to consistently have the poorest service of any fast food in the country. So I was in Mustang, Oklahoma today and saw one and wondered if it was only a big city problem. To my surprise, the device was excellent and the chicken was great. Absolutely terrible. Never coming to this location again. Whenever I pulled up at the drive thru to order I couldn't even hear the guy because how loud their rap music was blaring. I ordered the new Chicken Sandwich meal and was so excited to try it. Let's just say I still haven't tried the actual chicken sandwich. They literally slapped a chicken strip on my sandwich and it had a literal drop of mayo on it. It was not the giant filet they showed with mayo on top and bottom. Stopped in to pick up dinner and had to wait because the extra crispy was cooking. The gentleman at the counter apologized profusely on my having to wait. I wasnt in a hurry and would much rather have hot fresh chicken. By the time my order was ready and I got everything home, the chicken was super hot still. The KFC in mustang Oklahoma has poor service and being ready when people order food. Three times I have been there and all three times I'm told I have to wait or they do not have any food to server. I have lived in Mustang for over 30 plus years! I am a KFC fan all the way. I have tried to overlook the fact that, I pull up to the drive through and all the employee's (high school kids) are out back smoking. I wait patiently for them to see me and enter back into the restaurant to take my order at the drive through window. I order the 8 piece bucket. Nothing fancy, no real expectations of all the extras. JUST an 8 piece bucket of chicken. I drive off thinking, I hope they washed their hands before handling my dinner. I get home and I have the bucket with five wings and one breast. I call and get an employee, who answer the phone. Hi Thank you for calling Braums! I state oh I am sorry I have to wrong number. I dial the number from the receipt AGAIN same young man answers, Thank you for calling Braums laughing! Now, I ask to speak to a manager. A young man by the name of Brandon, gets on the phone. How can I help you. I ordered the 8 piece meal. Yes ma'am! I didn't get the 8 Piece meal. OK, says Brandon! At this point I am very frustrated due to all the games at the beginning of the call. So on and so on!! Long story this has happen three times to our family! Their jokes, the service and the youngsters need adult supervision! We will never return to the location again! It is sad to see a long time restaurant be ran into the ground by a bunch of kids who think after a long day at work and just wanting to feed my family a meal is a joke! Please save your money.
