I haven't had any issues with this location. I've been in the drive thru as well as inside. The food is good, service is good, ambience is good. I don't understand what other reviewer's expect?? It's a fast food chicken place that offers a lot of fried chicken and good sides. Expect to have a wait on a bigger orders (duh)!! The employees can only do their best. Be respectful always and if something is wrong with your order kindly let them know and I'm sure it can be worked out! On that note I've never had a "bad" experience here. I recommend. read more

I agree it was around 9 pm but ordered 3 piece chicken stripe and they came. Got in the car headed home. Opened it up and the three pieces of chicken were very dark brown and very dry. Guessing they had been cooked and then back in oil to heat them up. I have not been happy with KFC in Payson lately and I guess it is time to forget going there. No one else in the drive-thru after I paid told to pull around and wait. This is the third time, and it's the last, I won't be going back. The food the last couple of times tastes like it was cooked the day before. The customer service is hit or miss. Seems like two or three of the staff are always on break. OMG! What a horrible experience! After we had been waiting a while, we were informed they were out of biscuits. Fine, had to wait 7 minutes. I told them to hold the whole order so we could eat together. The meal came with cold fries and raw dough in the biscuit. Staff member brought another biscuit and it cooked. Asked if we wanted anything else, so I said we'd like an extra biscuit for all the trouble. Service said she'd ask and we never saw her again. When we were done I went to ask for the manager and was told she was too busy to see us... and then a she gave a biscuit. We stopped in Payson Utah at the KFC on are way home to St George Utah after we left a funeral in Salt Lake City . The weather was getting bad still had a long ways to go. Went into the woman restroom it was gross and no toilet paper. Guess we should have left then. We ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwich 1 combo. They our the worst that crap they put on there sandwich is horrible and the KFC sauce was not much better. KFC has gone way down hill and they used to have the best chicken ever never again . On a whim we drove through to pick up dinner. Literally has been over a decade since we've eaten anything KFC. Ordered a couple of 2 piece extra crispy chicken meals which come with a side of whipped potatoes covered in gravy and a biscuit. Although we were in the drive thru, we were asked to "move forward" to one of the curb side stalls to wait for our order. Wait was brief and meals were hot. Discovered utensils had not been included but plenary of butter flavored spread and honey packets were included. Chicken was definitely extra crispy and as we remembered it. With the potatoes were just so so and biscuit was tender and on the blonde side of baking. If you are a KFC fan, this location will not disappoint. read more

The staff at this location are unprofessional. When I pulled up for my pickup order well after I was notified it was ready, the doors were open to the kitchen and four of them were outside messing around. I went inside to "quick pickup" to find my order was not ready even though it said it was in the app. The staff informed me that chicken was still cooking. They then proceeded to mess around with one team member coming around to the front of the register and mocking customers. Overall incredibly horrible. Empty parking lot - Empty dining room. I was literally the only one in the place. Couldn't get service at the counter. Looked around the place. Dining room and especially the back kitchen were filthy. The clerk couldn't help me, but could review whatever was most important on his cell phone. Turned around and left. So I love kfc but I'll never go to the one in payson again. Awful service the manager has no idea what he's doing. I ordered online they didn't have what I ordered and he wasn't willing to fix the problem. I called grub hub and they said he could have given me a refund so he obviously doesn't know how to do his job. I tried KFC's new bowls and I thought they were pretty good the only problem I had was that my black plastic bowl was cracked and as I was eating it in my car the food started coming out the bottom of the bowl so I was trying to salvage my upholstery in my clothes and finally had to just put it in the bag and try to pick out some chicken to eat. This was my second visit to this relatively new store in Payson. My first visit was to try out the new peach flavored Mtn Dew. The chicken strips, mashed potatoes, and my favorite.....Cole slaw were all delicious. Oh yes.....and the Mtn Dew was just "peachy ". My last visit a week ago was less than inspiring. I will admit it was at 1:30 which is post lunch rush. However, that being said the time of day should not dictate the quality and freshness of the food. I ordered the 5 strip meal with mashed potatoes and........cole slaw. The biscuit hard and dry. If you've ever had KFC's biscuits you know they are flaky deliciousness! Not today! The chicken strips were so dry and small. More like a pinky finger than a strip. Truely a disappointment and truely dissatisfying. I only at two strips and gave the rest to one of the kids. They did say they enjoyed the potatos and mac n cheese. Maybe I'm just getting cranky the older I get. But, I expect to be satisfied when I buy a meal. Anymore, it seems like you really can't buy a meal for less than $10.00. Is it too much to ask that I get $10.00 worth of satisfaction and value from that meal? KFC really isn't one of our "go to" restaurants. The wife won't go there because she's always disappointed when she leaves. I love chicken, so once in a while I'll give them a try. After being at home sick with pneumonia for 4 days, I just wanted KFC. My son in law picked it up for us and headed back to his house. Well, the potatoes and gravy was good.
