I can't believe I am actually writing a review for a fast food chain location...but the chicken was so god-awful, I can't let it go. I have not been to a KFC in many years, but it was never this bad in the past. I ordered extra crispy chicken but did not get it. The breading on the chicken was mushy and soft and pulled right off the chicken pieces. It was gross. The mashed potatoes and biscuits were OK; I guess they have not figured out how to screw those up yet. I threw away the breading, pulled the chicken off the bone, and gave it to the neighbor's dog. In addition, I waited over 20 minutes in the drive through line for this mess. A bucket of 10 pieces with 2 sides and 4 biscuits cost $30 plus tax. So not worth it!! read more

Service really was bad.. ordered through the mobile app 17 mins before arrival and app said ready by 8:05. Pulled up to the drive thru to only be told the order was not ready and to pull around front and the order would be taking out to us. 15 mins later and starving I had to get out of the car. The door was locked and it looked like no one was working. Was told that they were behind on orders, but it didn't make sense cause we were the only customers. Pearland chain restaurant woes continued! I haven't been to KFC in years but I saw an offer on social media for a BOGO on their new chicken sandwich. Why not? I had to see if this was up there with Chick-Fil-A or Popeyes chicken sandwiches. This location is newish in Pearland. The place was empty. They didn't seem to know what the promotion was but still honored it. Kudos for that. I just got the offer and and also wanted to try their new fries. I did hear good things about that. Got home and dug right in. I immediately noticed how not fresh everything was. Temps were lukewarm at best. The food had to have been sitting out. The sandwich was decent but probably would've been way better fresh. Not better than the above two mentioned places. The fries were not only cold but stale. Like next day reheated fries. I'll definitely skip this location again and it'll probably be years before I visit any of their spots again. read more

Stopped there to get chicken. We really do like KFC.. food was okay but the service sucked. The girl at the window just shoved the bag at me didn't even ask if I needed anything condiments. Then closed the window. I honked my horn to ask for napkins. She totally ignored me. No napkins, ketchup or plastic ware of any type. The chicken strips were over cooked and very skimpy for paying 10.00 for a meal. They really need to work on customer service. I was not rude or anything. She must have been in a bad mood. Who knows. I have given this place several tries. Tonight was - by far - the worst. I ordered a 3-piece chicken meal - all 3 pieces were several hours old and dried out. I have always accepted that KFC uses very small chickens, it has always been this way, however, when they are old and cold it might as well be a fried grackle. Waited in line to get my food for 30 minutes. I got there at 6:19 and didn't get my food until 6:50. I first pulled up and the lady nicely said "order when you're ready" and I said "sure, just a moment I'm still figuring out what I want." When I finally figured it out, I said "ok I'm ready please" and I heard someone say "just a moment". That turned into a 10 minute wait. There was only 2 people in line, including me. There was maybe like 2 people inside. The car in front of me pulled away from the window and I was expecting a response coming from the speaker, but one minute went by. Then 2 minutes. Then I finally spoke and said "hello?" And got no answer. I said it again, still no answer. I said it one more time. No answer. I pulled up to the window and there was no one behind the counter. I sat at the window for 5 minutes, before someone finally came and opened the window asking me "can I help you?" I said "yes...I need to order please but I've been here in the line for almost 15 minutes. It's just me." She took my order and followed with "sorry we're under staffed"........ keep in mind I'm the only one in the drive thru. I said fine whatever and she came back with my drinks and receipt and asked me to pull around so they can walk my food out to me. I pulled around and saw the same person that was in front of me 7 minutes ago waiting for his food. I did not get out of there until 6:50. Even then, they brought me the wrong order and I had to send it back. And I still had the wrong order when I pulled off. This was a horrible, horrible experience. Luckily I love their food.
