    Plain Naan

Here is the scoop: this is a truly authentic Pakistani restaurant. The spinach is not puréed like the Indian restaurants. You can still see the leaves, roughly chopped you can get meat added to any of your vegetarian dishes with lamb or chicken chicken breast kebab was on point, it is also not overly spicy which is a big plus for me. My only objection is that the Naan is not leven, meaning it is lacking yeast, so it's flat. I ordered a roti and a naan and they both looked identical, except one was white flower, and the other one was wheat. Also, just like all other Pakistani restaurants , you don't see a woman working in there. So as usual, it lacks the proper decoration and some of the beauties that ladies bring setting. the service was relatively quick and the food was freshly made. I was told to try to karaahi but maybe next time. The parking is parked gravel, which is unusual because right right in the middle of a city. Perhaps it's the sign of struggling immigrants trying to make a living.

This place is amazing!!! Please go and support them. Highly recommend. Best place in the neighborhood for Pakistani halal food.

Great food, has the correct amount of spice. The garlic naan is also great. 10/10 will return for more.

Too pricey and not enough food. They also need to work on the cleanliness of the place including the bathrooms. The service is good.

Solid authentic Indian food exceeding quality expectations and a veteran in takeout service…read more Phulkari Indian Cuisine is a top choice for us when we are in the area as their food is delicious, made fresh, and packaged well for on the go families like us. We have our favorites from their menu but they host a variety of curries, proteins, and small bites/street eats. Panipuri - crispy balls ready to be loaded up with lentils, delicious fillings and sauces, these mouthfuls are great for starters but you'll find yourself eating these throughout the meal not only because you're hungry but also because you just can't get enough of them. Samosas - hearty fried dumplings packed with potatoes that are perfect for eating on the go. Great by itself or with sauces and curry, these hot pockets are a burst of flavor that will stuff you up. Goat curry - full of flavor and a bit on the spicy end for those sensitive to capsaicin. Pair with naan or rice and you'll be golden, from the tastes you'll be experience as well as the heat! Butter paneer/chicken - the sweetness of the curry is subtle but the creaminess is what will win you over. Smothered over chicken or paneer, this is a delicious palate pleaser. Biryani - solid staple, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Great by itself or paired with some curry or a grilled entree. Salmon - delicious but a bit overcooked for my liking but in a pinch, omega-3s can be supplemented in this meal. Overall, Phulkari satisfies our craving for Indian curry any day and it's great knowing that the experience will consistently be a good one anytime those cravings come up. We haven't had a chance to dine in but would welcome the opportunity to visit for a sit down. For now, they're still our go-to for Indian cuisine when we are in the area. Unsure of where you'll end up settling for food or not having the time or space to cook an elaborate meal packed with flavors and aromas? Phulkari pulls through as the restaurant of choice!

This last time I actually went to the restaurant to pick up my order and it was a nice place, with a convenient adjacent free parking lot and my order was ready to go as promised. I ordered bhatura (two large crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside fried breads per order), butter chicken, lamb tikka masala, fish pakora, aloo gobi, mushroom masala - and it was all fantastic. Spice levels as requested, hot (temperature-wise), and it was gobbled up by my family of very picky eaters (not an easy bunch to feed). The menu is diverse, meats are halal certified and there are great options for vegans as well. Overall, highly recommended - you won't be disappointed.

My friends thought the food was good - other than the cucumber salad, which had wilted cucumbers and greens that were beginning to show rot around the edges (we should have sent this salad back). I thought the naan and lamb were very good, the masala average with not enough paneer, and the bharta below average. One friend confided that her lassi was much too salty and not creamy enough. The service was friendly enough but seemed somewhat unattentive.

We got the pani puri, the samosas, and we both got their lunch combo. The pani puri was like eating stale tortillas, like they bought the economy pack and will keep using them regardless of freshness. The samosas were good, not really rememberable or better than other Indian food spots. The bf got their butter chicken and the sauce was good. But I don't go to Indian places to get the butter chicken. I actually don't remeber what I got for my lunch combo, but it wasn't anthing to write home about. Pricing was okay given it was the lunch time special pricing. Honestly the atmosphere felt like a family shop where no one wants to work there but it pays the bills. There's a counter filled with unlabeled treats. They looked good but I had no idea what they were. Service was the minimum which doesn't really bother me but some people enjoy it. Felt really cramped filled with tables and people who think they're having an exotic lunch instead of McDonald's. This place is not for me and after I told by bf this he agreed. Kinda hard to find, it's like a blink and you miss it. Parking is sparse, I parked down the street.
