    Dried fish

So it's not everyday you find a shop that sells Chinese style dried fruit and meats but if you are in the Great Wall Mall stop by Kho Bo and enter a world of unique flavours. Yes, you can find some of these products in some of the Asian markets in the Seattle area but I find that the products here are far superior. First of all, this is all they sell and the quality of sone of the products I bought was great! First of all if you are a fan of dried meats, "jerky," or dried fish you have to stop by Kho Bo Bites. Some of the jerky I bought was just superb. There's an Italian market in white center that also makes its own jerky but the selection here is so much larger. Besides meat jerky they also have dried fish. I like dried fish but not as much as the dried meats they had. As far as their selection of dried fruits, they have the usual assortment as well as some more non-traditional selections as well. The place had a fair amount of people in it and I was glad because it would be nice for something this unique to actually succeed in the Seattle area. Next time you're in the Great Wall Mall stop and pick up some asian style tasty jerky!

I'm just checking in-as usual the service is phenomenal here. They have so many dried fruits, jerkies and candies. I've been a customer and I have to say the shelf life of everything I have purchased is excellent. I highly recommended the spicy tamarind candies, as well as any of their jerkies. The squid jerky was a new flavor for me yesterday recommended by the shopkeeper. I absolutely love this place-it is such a great place for gifts if you don't eat them all yourself!

First time here for dinner. 4 adults and 2 kids…read more We ordered 4 main dishes, 2 little jars of soup ($5.99 each), the mochi pancake and a big bucket of rice It was plenty of food and we even had left overs! The prawns were so good!! Crispy outside and bouncy inside, skip the walnuts though, they are cold and soft The ginseng chicken soup has an of little bones... wish they stained it but taste was good Everything taste good with the prawns being most surprisingly good. Roast pork was sold out which was bummer At the end you get the coconut milk tapioca dessert, it's very cold. I prefer it served warm/ hot but the kids loved it cold. We went on a Monday around 5:40pm, it was really quiet and only 3-5 tables occupied while we were there. Food came quickly besides the soup; I think they forgot We had to ask for forks and water for the kids which some restaurants automatically ask/ give you; otherwise everyone was friendly and food was yummy. Will come back, we usually go to V garden in Great Wall but here is definitely comparable or better? We didn't like triumph valley for dinner dishes

I recently found Champion Gourmet Co. (冠軍) inside Great Wall Shopping Mall in Kent, and it feels…read morevery much like a classic Taiwanese bento shop. The space is small but clean, and ordering is done through a self-service kiosk or QR code, which makes the process quick and easy. They mainly serve Taiwanese-style bento boxes and braised snacks. Some of the options include: * Popcorn Chicken Bento * Taiwanese Pork Chop Bento * Braised Pork (Lu Rou) Bento * Smoked Chicken Leg Bento * Taiwanese Sausage Bento * Braised Pork Belly Bento Prices are around $14-$17. I ordered the Popcorn Chicken Bento, which came with stir-fried greens, braised egg, pickled mustard greens, Taiwanese sausage, and braised tofu. The popcorn chicken was freshly fried, crispy on the outside and juicy inside, with basil that gives it a very authentic Taiwanese flavor. The portion was generous and they even included a milk tea, which made the meal very satisfying. They also offer a variety of Taiwanese braised snacks (lu wei) like braised eggs, tofu, chicken gizzards, beef tripe, chicken feet, and pig ears. Another nice touch is the freezer section where you can buy frozen dumplings, wontons, and buns to take home. Overall, it's a simple and comforting Taiwanese spot. If you're shopping at Great Wall in Kent and want a quick, satisfying meal, this is a convenient place to grab a bento. The parking is complimentary in the plaza.

Champion is located inside the Great Wall mall and it's pretty unassuming. There's a few tables inside and that's basically it. They have a relatively small menu available and a wide portion of braised items and frozen dumplings. On the menu, there's a handful of bentos and some noodles. I only noticed one staff member even though my visit was on the weekend but there were no issues experienced. I ordered a popcorn chicken bento and it came with a complimentary black milk tea. The popcorn chicken was nice and crispy and seasoned well. I like that the bento included a braised egg, taiwanese sausage, and a piece of tofu. The braised egg was one of the best I've had and I'll definitely have to be back for more.

The restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall leading to ranch 99 (Asian supermarket). I've had this spot pinned on my Google Maps for the longest time but just never had the opportunity to make the drive there. This place was easy to miss if you don't look carefully so I'm glad I saw this recommended by a Seattle foodie I follow on instagram. We ordered the spicy braised beef noodles and steamed dumplings to share since we weren't that hungry. The braised beef noodles BLEW ME AWAY. The broth was so rich and savory, my mom commented that it tasted better than the one at din tai fung (we are frequent visitors & I agree) and the noodles were chewy (I love thick noodles!!). The dumplings were very juicy and flavorful but nothing too special. Service was prompt and servers were really friendly. There were so many other dishes on the menu featuring traditional Chinese dishes that looked delicious and so I do want to come back to try those when I am hungry! Definitely a hidden gem for good Asian food :)

Cute older woman was preparing dumplings at the counter behind the glass (you can also catch them rolling out and preparing noodles) Fresh, flavorful, delicious. A favorite of ours whenever we are craving soup dumplings or hand pulled noodles. Lots of options, everything we eat has been delicious.
