I like the grab-n-go char siu and duck on weekdays in the afternoon (although the setup on a table with a weak heat lamp is a little sketch). There are deals on chicken feet if you're lucky enough to stumble upon them at the right time. Chicken feet are expensive in this area in this day and age. $1.99 is a screaming deal. Their selection of frozen dumplings is very good, although sometimes I can't find some of my favorite items. Supply chain issues? Prime Food/Dim Sum King is one of the best brands. Especially their soup dumplings (a.k.a "mini soupy pork bun").

Just the right balance of noodles, meat, bean sprouts and green onion. A tad bit on the oily side for my tastes. They serve a limited dim sum menu I believe at night. I ordered the har gow and siu mai. Very thin wrapper on the har gow. Whole small shrimp for the filling, instead of chopped up. However, the thin wrapper meant it came apart a little too easily. Good flavor, though. Siu mai have a nice texture. a rough chop used on the pork vs minced or ground. Also a nice change from the sometimes too dense texture at other places. This almost tasted like chunks of spareribs. Pretty good. Surprisingly large dining room. I had no idea the space was that big. Service was a little rough. I've noticed that Sundays, in general, are pretty slow for dining out. But they seemed like they were getting a good sized crowd, and maybe they weren't quite staffed up. It was a little chaotic it seemed. My food came out quickly once they came back to take my order. One server tried to take my menu and I said I still needed to order. And she just left. She didn't take my order or round up the server that seated me. Kind of odd. But I still got my order in a timely fashion. It's nice they ask what tea you want. There is a $1 charge for tea. (I assume that's per person). Not a deal breaker. The days of complimentary tea are long gone, so $1 is a bargain I think. I think pretty authentic and good quality, but for the price I think Triumph Valley might be a better bet, and it's just up the road. (Although I hate the stinky chemical cleaner they use on the tables at Triumph Valley). And I think Diamond Bay is still hard to beat for overall quality and service. I only noticed one staff member even though my visit was on the weekend but there were no issues experienced. I ordered a popcorn chicken bento and it came with a complimentary black milk tea. The popcorn chicken was nice and crispy and seasoned well. I like that the bento included a braised egg, taiwanese sausage, and a piece of tofu. The braised egg was one of the best I've had and I'll definitely have to be back for more.
