Place is chill nice and clean but to quit for me. Over all now car and simple. They had a mini Jordan selection under the t.v that had some exclusive jays for sell. Y'all ever in west lake check em out #paypaboy

This place sucks. Owner hates kids and won't let them play the shoe game. No respect to the customers. And all the shoes are over priced.

That made me curious to finally give HOKA a try. I found these HOKA Transport shoes at Footprint USA, and they had by far the best price I could find. I'm really glad this was my first HOKA purchase--the shoes look even better in person and are exactly the style I was looking for. I placed the order on July 15 and selected the cheapest $7 shipping option, with delivery originally estimated for July 20. To my surprise, the package arrived from San Francisco on July 17--less than two days later and just before the weekend. Communication was excellent throughout, with clear shipping and UPS updates. It was a genuinely smooth and personal buying experience from a small business.

I stopped in to browse their selection of shoes, jackets, and other apparel, and once again, I found exactly what I was looking for. This is my second pair of On Running Women Cloud shoes that I've purchased from this store. I initially tried on the pink pair, but they just didn't feel like the right fit for me. Then I tried on the white pair, and I instantly knew they were the ones! They're incredibly comfortable, lightweight, stylish, and perfect for my daily walks.

I'm already a fan of DSW, whether seeking sandals, pumps, or sneakers for running. On my recent visit, their selection of professional footwear did not disappoint. I found about 6-7 I liked, only 3 of those had my size, so I ended up purchasing those three (brands including Dr. Scholl's, Kelly & Katie, and Anne Klein), which was ideal, preventing me from overspending. I prefer simple and comfortable when it comes to shoes, nothing flashy, and DSW usually has good options. This store, in particular, stood out during my recent visit. It's the first two-story DSW I've been to. And everything was clean and organized, well stocked for the most part. Not to mention, they had great purses on display too (more than I've seen at other locations of this chain). There was hardly a wait for service to make my purchase on Tuesday afternoon. And staff was helpful and efficient at the register, which I appreciated. Also, for the quality of shoes here, the price is fair, especially if you are a VIP member like me, as we get frequent discounts and rewards.

Unfortunately for my feet and back, my sneakers of choice are Converse. I have no less than 10 pairs, but not one of them is suitable for the type and volume of walking I'm doing now. I could have easily gone to a DSW or Foot Locker for walking shoes, but knowing myself I would have spun into a spiral of analysis paralysis, second-guessing, and doubt. Instead, I decided to visit On The Run, which I knew about from a former boss who was very particular about her footwear due to her own orthopedic issues. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by sales associate Rahnsom. He led me to a chair and began asking exploratory questions to get a sense of my needs. He took measurements and had me walk around a bit in my socks to see what my feet and ankles were doing. With this information he was able to immediately pull 4 shoes that fit perfectly. He helped me into each pair and had me walk around the store and go up and down a little hiking simulator to test how they felt. He chose very well. Out of the first three pairs, I could have easily walked out with two of them and been happy. Even the pair that I would have passed on was comfortable but a little too high for clumsy me. When I tried on the fourth pair, though, the Goldilocks in me knew that these shoes were just right. Regarding pricing, my particular pair of New Balance was $199. Coming from a Converse budget that may have seemed high, but I was determined to invest in my comfort and safety. Additionally, I place great value on the personalized service and information that Rahnsom provided. Had I gone to a "regular" retail store, I am certain I would have wasted money on the wrong shoe. For example, I had zero idea I was actually an 8 wide. I would have bought a size 9 shoe like I usually do then would have suffered - like I usually do - with a pair that was still too narrow in the front but with my heels moving up and down in the back as I walk. Out of curiosity I just checked online for prices elsewhere on my shoes and I consistently found them at $199. So, in my personal experience so far, On The Run isn't necessarily pricier than other stores. Even if it is, I can't put a price on being able to find the perfect shoe for my situation, in record time and with zero angst and indecision.

I'm from the East Bay, so not too familiar with this part of SF. It's mainly a residential section, with a few stores. Seems kinda quiet, and a decent neighborhood with easy parking out front. A very cool and hip front of store with an ultra clean and well presented inside. Each shoe is wrapped in sealed plastic, and from what I could tell, these guys are a stickler from detail: so clean and only the best for the used shoes. They had jerseys and other apparel. Gorgeous stuff. The guys that worked here were very super nice and helpful. Kudos!

I placed an order through their website, only to have it canceled and refunded the following day because the shoes had been listed at the wrong price. I was told the pricing error was due to an "intern" mistakenly listing the item incorrectly. While I understand that mistakes happen, I don't believe customers should bear the consequences of a business's pricing error. Given Grails SF's reputation, I expected them to honor the listed price or, at the very least, offer a reasonable solution. I even asked if they could provide a discount on a future purchase as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience, but I was told there was nothing they could do. That response was especially disappointing and left me feeling that customer satisfaction was not a priority. Unfortunately, this experience has changed my opinion of the business. Because of the lack of customer service and willingness to make things right, I won't be purchasing from Grails SF again.
