Then there was a change in management, which also brought new front desk staff. We have a young child who, before the management change, was allowed to sit on the edge of the mat about 15 feet away and would try to do the moves along with the class. With the old staff, we got an understanding smile and some pleasant conversation. Now? Condescending looks accompanied by comments like, "We'll have to charge you for another lesson if your child is on the floor." It's ATROCIOUS working with Advantage now. Here's what you can look forward to: 1) Frequent unanswered calls with no attempts to reply to voicemail 2) Billing issues (always in the gym's favor) 3) A lack of empathy/understanding/customer service 4) The greediest gym I've ever worked with Seriously, if the coaches weren't solid, we'd run away and never look back.

When I came here growing up, Cascade was a frequently used word in my social sphere (name of a swim club some of my friends were interested in and my grandad volunteered on trails in the Cascade Mountains). In terms of my artistic gymnastic abilities, I was naturally flexible and high energy. I managed to surprise my family/friends that it did not translate to gymnastics ability. As part of a group, we went through and tried different apparatus to the best of our abilities, I was best at bars and worst at floor. I had/have a fear of falling and for some reason that flared up in my not being able to do a cartwheel (fear of falling flat on my face), however an interest in bars (where fear of falling was overcome by apparatus coolness). My time here was short lived in part because of my not quite taking to it, the workers/instructors were kind and understanding both in my taking part and withdrawing/not continuing.

Spring session, there was feedback posted on our online account, but during fall session time there was no feedback, the only communication you get is about strict registration process. There is a useless hurricane simulator thing it's literally 2 dollars for a strong fan being blown on you. Lol don't bother. But the inflatables are great and in decent condition. Some need to be stitched up here and there. The bathrooms were clean and they have water fountains. The vending machine was out of order when I was there. The customer service was 50% good. And I mean that literally, 2 employees I interacted with were friendly and 2 were unfriendly and lazy. That is for 2 separate visits. There is a lot of wall space for arcade games they could add. All in all it's worth a visit, I just don't go very often.

Everyone jumping needs to wear socks in the inflatables but when they get out they are still running around with their socks on while parents are there wearing their dirty shoes. So the area isn't really sanitary. I've never been to a Pump It Up establishment before. This location had two rooms with inflatables. The third room was for eating. I loved that 2 high chairs were included in that third room. Loved that it was an IKEA high chair just because we use that at home too.

My son's first attempt here was in a group class and it was a complete fail for him. He is 7 and…read moreautistic and was completely overwhelmed with the wide age range of kids in the class, number of kids in the class and loud personalities of some of the older kids in the class. He couldn't be coaxed out of sitting in the hallway and watched the class from under some chairs until he decided that it was just too much for him at the time. Coach Kyle found out that he had such a negative experience and reached out to me and offered for him to come in again so that he could show him a more positive experience. To say he had a blast would be an understatement. Having a one on one class was a total night and day experience. He was climbing, flipping and vaulting on the equipment from the minute we walked into the gym. Coach Kyle was patient and encouraging and showed him how to properly and safely use the equipment. My son left having had a fabulous time and got a great workout with a huge boost to his confidence. He is fearless and an adrenaline seeker so Parkour is something that he really enjoys and shows an aptitude for. We will continue with one on one classes for the time being and hopefully at some point he can move into a group class but if we need to stay in one on ones, that's totally fine by us as well. It can be tough trying new activities for autistic/neurodivergent kids and I'm really glad that we gave MoveFree Academy a second chance. I would recommend if your child is on the timid side or easily overwhelmed, to start off with a one on one or semi private class to get comfortable before jumping into one of the larger group classes.

While it's been a great opportunity for learning how to follow directions and take turns, both my husband and I didn't feel much of a welcoming environment. If you can start your kid early at 18 months or if you have a very calm toddler that likes to follow directions, this place would be perfect. Not the case for our son. All he wanted to do was run around in circles and climb on the equipment... Which is still perfectly developmentally normal for a 2 year old. The judgement both my husband and I felt was completely uncalled for and unnecessary and I will never be returning to this gym ever again.

The gym makes us pay to go to FL. To attend the National by pay the fee to get attendance. after we stay in this program for three years my daughter never gets treated fair. So, we left and what they did to my daughter in the last time had cost my daughter to not want to play volleyball ever again. Shame on you Alec and Shawna.
