It was so busy , yet being sat, and served seemed fast ! Nothing fancy ! Comfortable, I liked sitting by the windows. Only one toilet in each bathroom. So you may have to wait awhile there. Just writing this makes me hungry for those wings again.

My wife and I both ordered the Everett's #2 with pulled chicken, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. Everything just worked together perfectly. The chicken was tender, the slaw added the right crunch, and the bun tied it all together. It was one of those sandwiches where after the first bite you just look at each other and know you made the right choice. We also ordered the Saucy Rossy wings and they were the perfect heat level for both of us. Not so mild that they're boring and not so hot that you're suffering. Pro tip: get them fried and grilled. The extra texture and flavor are absolutely worth it. My wife is a total Brussels sprouts snob and she was absolutely in love with theirs. The funny part is that I'm usually not much of a Brussels sprouts person, but I kept asking for more off her plate. That alone should tell you how good they were. The fries were okay. Nothing that stole the show, but nothing to complain about either. The service wasn't the best during our visit, but they also had a 30-person table they were dealing with, so it was completely understandable. Even with that, the food was so good that it's already a top 3 meal for my wife. We'll definitely be thinking about those sandwiches, wings, and Brussels sprouts until we're back, and I don't think that'll take very long.

Also tried the truffle fries and really liked that they were thick cut and the garlic aioli they're paired with. I opted for the smoked Gouda Mac n cheese as my main and it was unfortunately pretty flavorless. There's not a ton of vegetarian entree options and this one was lackluster, but I'd still go back for the starters and to try their pesto gnocchi.

It was kind of cool to see it very empty, because we could admire all the goat accents around the interior and the cool bar, without a million people around it. There was a brunch menu at that early hour, but we decided to stick with the normal menu. Our server was great, and definitely very attentive since we were the only party in the place the entire time we were there. I had just had dental surgery so there were only a few things I could eat. I got the Meatballs appetizer (to cut up and have some meat in my stomach) and the French Onion Soup, which was the soup of the day. The French Onion Soup was super creamy and delicious. I'm used to there being just sort of darker brown with the cream and cheese on top only. This was totally cream colored and hearty. It came with a few pieces of bread points too that were good to dip/soak in the soup. My more substantial part of my meal, the meatballs, were a little less appetizing though. First off they came in a bowl, so they are not easy to cut at all (being giant meatballs, I would think anyone would want to cut them a little). And secondly, the meatballs themselves were kind of flavorless. There was some marina style sauce in the bowl with them, but the meat of the meatballs themselves had no seasoning or flavor. My husband got the caesar salad with chicken, and he was not a huge fan. It was way too heavily dressed that the salad leaves were almost wilty, and the chicken that was in the salad was cut in huge pieces - not easily eaten without sawing at the huge bits. So the food was not the star at this visit (except for the side of French onion soup), but the service and atmosphere were still great. I would return to Stokin' Goat but maybe choose some other items next time, when I can eat more substantial food.

The burrito on chef's special was the only meal that was relatively bland tasting. All the food came out promptly as for a party as big as mine, it was wonderful. The reservation was for 1:30 and we were handed Brunch Menus which we loved! After ordering appetizers and enjoying those- we began to order our meals and were told that brunch had ended but that the server had asked for an extension and was granted after what seemed to be a struggle for the server as she had to plea with the kitchen staff the way it came off to us. Our food was served and my mother's sandwich did not come out as advertised with ingredient missing. The server was notified and reported back that the kitchen already allowed us to order "past" the time of brunch and are not going to fix it but will comp it. At the time to pay the bill - the comp was $2.00 off. Seemed very unreasonable and should've been corrected properly. The food service was prompt and our food came out very quickly. The wait service seemed very busy for the restaurant being at a dead time of the day and only a few other customers eating in the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and tables were set on arrival. I would like to go back during the dinner hour to see how it compares. Overall- good food and clean restaurant. Only hiccup is not taking accountability properly for an easy food mistake and knowingly serving guests menus with time restrictions. Without those two inconveniences, it would've been a 5 star experience.

Our waitress was great the entire evening - appropriately checking in on us while also cognizant that we were having a meeting. I started off the with zero proof spritzer and that was very good! Reminiscent of an Aperol spritz, but NA. Our table got the seasonal grilled flatbread and the curry fries to share. The flatbread was excellent, best thing I had there all night. The curry fries on its own was very bland! Not sure I could taste salt much less curry. But dipped in truffle aioli and spicy mayo made it very good. There were no vegetarian entrees (not even a token one) on the menu, but they did have a Mac and cheese side. I asked our waitress if I could get that as an entree and she was very sweet and confirmed with her manager and kitchen that this was possible. Well... the Mac and cheese had bacon in it... I was told that they don't put bacon in it usually, so I'm not entirely sure what happened. I had also ordered the house salad with a sun dried tomato vinaigrette and that was fine. Not bad, but nothing stellar either. They were nice enough to comp the mac and cheese (that was taken back after I had two bites) the salad, and the fries, which was very nice of them. They did also offer to make me something else, but again - a pretty limited vegetarian menu, so I declined. I did get the chocolate cake to go and it was very grainy. I love chocolate cake, I'll eat it in almost any form but this tasted stale and had such an odd texture. It reminded me of grocery store cake. Overall a disappointing meal and I won't be back willingly, but two stars for our stellar waitress who was clearly very sorry about the bacon and the flatbread that was very good!

They asked us how the dish was when we just received it and then we took a bite and couldn't respond and she goes you're silence must mean a good thing except that wasn't the case. We were both chewing slowly because we didn't like the dish. But one was definitely worse than the other.
