    Conveyor Belt Sushi
    Anggie B.

It's a humble sushi place at Queens Mall Food court. I like the touch of the conveyor belt, makes it more fun. It's not fancy, yes, but a nice place to grab quick lunch / dinner if you're in the area. And their sushi tastes good too!

    Sorry it was that good

I was shocked to see a 3 star review! I totally disagree! Ok it's not fancy and it's in a mall and the service is mediocre at best . But the sushi is delicious and tasty. I think to many many sushi restaurants around the world and this one is pretty close. I ordered the lunch special three rolls for $12 and I got the salad which was pretty big. Not bad at all. I suggest you come give it a try.

Ate here today by myself after work as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 7 Q for dinner to try this place out. I ate 3 plates of 4 sushi with different plate colors and also different types of sushi to slowly eat and enjoy it that it tasted quite good and delicious. The service there was also attentive and friendly. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

Got the takeout sushi before it closed for the night. I ordered 3 different rolls for $22. It wasn't bad but you have to eat it . The next day my avocado roll was spoiled.

I was suprised by the quality of this conveyor belt sushi spot. We only had 3 plates from the conveyor belt because we wanted pieces. The salmon was excellent. The rice was warm with a hint of vinegar just how I like it. Even the ikura was fresh. The only piece I didnt enjoy was the mackerel. Save that for omakase spots.

Definitely not quality sushi...... But you probably already knew that since it's mall sushi....... Queens center mall sushi no less. Anyway the conveyor belt they have here was super interesting and was the main draw for me here since I've never had conveyor belt sushi before. The sad thing is they only have a small variety of items pass through the conveyor belt, also all the items seem to be a variation of all other items with the same ingredients being used over and over again. Quality here ranges from poor to average, but with the prices being a tad bit pricier than your neighborhood sushi spot. Come here for the novelty, but other that that you can skip if you're not looking for relatively mediocre sushi.

Food was really good, and came quick! Not much to say about service, they showed us to our seats and didn't make much conversation. Which, could be good or bad depending on the type of person you are. Ambiance was moderate, can't expect much from a populated food court.

Was preparing to order breakfast in the mall from McDonald's and noticed the price of an egg McMuffin was $7 and Kido Sushi had a three roll special for $11 so I decided to give them a try. I began with a hot green tea, followed by the special and enjoyed it. I opted for the avocado roll, and two spicy salmon rolls with avocado. They also serve bubble tea. I ordered the green Apple green tea, with mixed fruit boba. The tea was really good, I wasn't to excited about the fruit boba. I would have preferred the traditional pearl pop. The restaurant is located in the food court of the mall right below the escalators. The set up is more in line of a restaurant vs the other restaurants in the food court where you walk up, order, then find a seat at the tables in the food court. Kido's seating is for their patrons only. You walk up, if you opt to dine in, they will allow you to chose your seat. Restaurant area was clean, and the food and service was good.

    Conveyor belt

Kido Sushi is located in the food court in Queens Center Mall. It's in the center of the food court and has its own private seating (separate from the food court's seating). It's sort of between two escalators. There are large umbrellas covering most of the seats, which I guess would protect you if someone wanted to throw something off the side of an escalator. It's conveyor belt sushi. There are small, color-coded plates of food that move around on a belt. Each color corresponds to a price (listed on the menu). You grab whatever you want, and the staff figures out the price by looking at the plates. You can also order off a menu. It's a full-service, dine-in restaurant. They asked for proof of vaccination. Plenty of seating here. Much more space than the rest of the food court. The food was good enough. I half-way expected that food on the conveyor belt would be stale, but it wasn't. Cleanliness is an issue. The conveyor belt food containers looked grimey. Half of the covers had large cracks in them. The bowl my salad came in had random bits of food stuck to the outside. Kido sushi is one of the better restaurants in the mall's food court, though that's not really saying much.

Tucked smartly between the escalators on the ground floor of Queens Center Mall, kiddo sushi looks like a futuristic diner straight from the Jetsons. You place your order, and it comes to you, rather, by you, via conveyor. I had my meal to go but you can dine in. The staff is very nice and the food is good. The best part, (at least to me) is they have green tea ice cream! The bubble teas are very very good and the tapioca "bubbles" are tasty. I will definitely revisit if I find myself back out this way. I recommend the bento box!

what great sushi at queens center mall. I always knew that this place needed a sushi restaurant but this reached far my expectation. Its right in between the escalators on the bottom floor of the food court with large white umbrellas to cover escalator riders. It's a cozy bystander feel restaurant with a Japanese styled sushi rotating bar. You choose which color you want and the price matches the color of the plate. You must try their blue heart tuna plate. It's very good. All the sushi was very fresh. Price gets a little pricey after several plates! Rating: 7/10

no longer crispy but still delicious

I went to the food court around lunch time and noticed there's a conveyor belt sushi! I never seen that before so I absolutely wanted to try it out. The prices were reasonable, i got two plates because I wasn't that hungry. The eel rolls were so tasty and fresh! Soft and flavourful. The second plate however, has been sitting too long on the belt and the batter was no longer crispy-bummer. I am surprised there wasn't many people at Kido Sushi at lunch time, the dishes would be more fresh if there were! I think I overtipped the waitress by accident, but oh well, I'm still a fan for the experience. Be careful of how much you can eat- it's like a buffet that keeps coming at you!

I was hungry from shopping and wanted a healthier option at the mall. This was the worst quality sushi I've ever had, very disappointing.

Better than I expected for a mall food court. Decent service. Sushi was good. The place is kind of a little oasis between 2 escalators.

But i was expecting a lot before coming here due to all the reviews i found. The food is not good like other Japanese restaurant some of the sashimi is very cold like just thawed ( we eat here around 1pm sunday) and some are not fresh anymore and where talking about sashimi this should be always fresh. The presentation is the big factor here for experience but it's better if they served quality, fresh sashimi. We order also shrimp tempura the breading is like tonkatsu breading so the tempura is not like the typical Japanese tempura it taste like chicken tenders covered with tonkatsu breading. The price for the sashimi we order with nice presentation $70, a little pricey For just few slices of sashimi. l think what we paid here is the presentation and experience to see the revolving conveyor of choo choo train. My recommendation it's up to you guys to try ..

KAITZEN ZUSHI is fun and delicious! I enjoyed my meal here,…read moreand I ordered à la carte. Next visit I shall enjoy the ALL YOU CAN EAT LUNCH OR DINNER! KAITZEN is Pronounced like: "Kite"- "Zen". It means revolving, a staff member told me. It's a fun meal because you order from a tablet, and your food is delivered to you on a conveyor belt. A bot/robot delivers closed drinks, such as a can of soda or bottled beverage. There are human staff members to help you. You can summon for service in the tablet. So, when I wanted to know what was inside the ocean roll, or green dragon roll, I summoned a server, and asked for the details. The server brought me a laminated detailed menu description, which was GREAT!! Loved it! I just tapped away on the tablet, and in a few minutes my sushi arrived via conveyor belt. I love this . See my videos. My first visit was March 2026. I enjoyed everything I ordered , see my photos and videos. I look forward to my next visit, and many after that.

We choose the all you can eat option, and there was a promo for 50% off wheat beer during our dinner. When ordering, it was 4 items at a time and pieces come fairly fast. There is a notification that alerts you when your order is in it's way on the conveyor belt. If you order a non-alcoholic drink, a robo server will bring the drink over to you. Food was decent and I really enjoyed the handrolls! The nigiri was tasty and there were interesting combos of nigiris to choose from, like torched salmon with mayo. For sides, there were cold appetizers like kani salads and hot dishes like ramen to choose from. Overall, I think it's a really good deal for conveyor belt sushi enthusiasts.

I've been back multiple times and it never disappoints. First, the sheer scope of the menu is impressive -- Korean, Japanese, and Chinese all done well under one roof. For the indecisive eater, this place is a dream. Our table ordered the gamjatang (pork bone stew), rose tteokbokki, and shrimp tempura, and every single dish was a hit. The rose tteokbokki in particular -- creamy, perfectly spiced, not too heavy -- is something I still think about. The gamjatang had incredible depth of flavor, the kind that tastes like it's been simmering all day. The portions are generous and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality you're getting. The combo sets are especially great value if you're coming with a group. The space itself is large and modern, with a comfortable, lively atmosphere that works just as well for a family dinner as it does for a night out with friends. Service was attentive and the side dishes kept coming -- always a good sign at a Korean restaurant. And yes, the tea is wonderful. They also have their own parking lot, which in Flushing is practically a luxury in itself. Whether you're a regular in the neighborhood or making a special trip out to Queens, Tang is absolutely worth it. One of the most satisfying and affordable dining experiences in all of NYC.
