They have glass doors that we can see our kids in to make sure that they are OK. They make kids feel special as they should! Kids get a free toy at the end of their visit. IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT COUNT!!!!!!! I chose this place because it's local, and they really did care to see my daughter. I ditched to "All kids dental" (check out my review on them). The dental hygienist was amazing! She had calming energy, and put my son at ease as she cleaned his teeth with the loud, unfamiliar dental tools! I wish I had had gotten her name but I told her in person how great she is at working with kids. I appreciate her patience too. The front desk office staff are great too! Each time I talked with someone I experienced warmth and kindness. The office itself is clean and we loved the Finding Nemo scene on the wall and Toy Story playing on the tv. The outside of the office is kinda rough though, but it's not their fault I got hit up for change twice while trying to get my crying son to the car. (Why was my son crying after such a tranquil experience you ask?). Well, the dentist seemed a little stressed and annoyed that I asked for an exam before doing x rays and then did an abrupt exam for my son without greeting him. My kiddo didn't like that very much and left the office fuming. Still recommend this place, maybe come when they first open. The BEST. I had to switch from the dentist at the traffic circle and couldn't have been more grateful for my decision. Instead of my daughters appt getting canceled upon my arrival because they didn't have a dentist available, she was greeted and seen by the most amazing professionals! They made her feel super comfortable the whole way through. I couldn't be with her during the X-ray process and they did the most amazing job in making her feel supported! Even the dentist asked and made sure I didn't have any further questions for him and made me feel so comfortable about everything when leaving! If you have kids, PLEASE bring them here!! Why are they still open? We came for the kids app. just to be told they couldn't run our insurance because it was the weekend. Patience's coming in aren't wearing any mask, after turning in our paperwork we were told to wear mask...no big deal but what about the rest of the people?? After i had to fill out all the paper work all over again from last fail visit i made a low blow comment if we were the only ones to wear mask since we are 6 and the rest are the fams there are of 3 or so. Front girl must of heard me and asked the rest of the patients to wear a mask as well. The office is dirty. The ladies look miserable and lost. I'll be looking elsewhere for dental service. We've been here 4-5 times in the past two years. On those first two visits, where my son required extensive work, we really enjoyed the facility. The dentist was great and we felt we found a place to come back to. That was about a year ago. This time around for just a check up, we dealt with this particular hygienist or assistant. I know every parent says this, but my kid was fine. He was just understandably nervous so he talks a bit. The assists was way too short with him, sounding so defensive and annoyed because my kid asked a question. I brushed it off as, maybe the person was just having a bad day. Fine. We had a follow up a few weeks later, and that time I made my husband go. Didn't mention the incident to him. When I asked for a report, he ranted about how rude and unprofessional an assistant was. That he felt really uncomfortable about the tone in which this person was speaking to my son. I mean you work at a pediatric dental office, you know...kids?? Little human beings. If you're holding them to same standard as an adult, you're working in the wrong field. After this, I think it's time to find a new place. First of all the front desk girl is fucking rude! If you hate your job so much then go look for a job somewhere else! Like girl you're looking mad miserable all the time! I took my 1.5 year old daughter in a few months ago to get a cleaning and the Dentist chipped her front tooth. When I told him her tooth wasn't like that before he tried saying that it was, that teeth are not all straight by nature. I was searching through multiples kids dental clinics and this was was at the top with the best reviews. Its also like 10mins from where we live so perfect. I was skeptical on coming here for my daughter's first dental clinic ever because the location and neighborhood is not the very best. So I tried to stay positive with the reviews and try it out. I didnt make an appointment and walked in, they take medical(denti-cal) also which is great. The whole set up is so cute. They have t.v. toys, and books the chairs and colors are bright and playful to entertain my 3 year old daughter. The place is super clean. The staff, dentist assistance and doctor was very thorough with the check up and xray. My daughter squirmed here and there but she enjoyed her first visit. She didnt cry at all! This dentist use to be good, I took my kids in on Saturday and I had and their appointment at 10:30 and wasn't seen or until 11:00. Everyone was literally late, including the Dr. The girl in the front desk is rude and always looks angry and unpleasant. They didn't let parents in so he was talking to me about my kids treatments in the lobby where everyone can hear. Have they ever heard of HIPPA?! They don't seem like they like working with kids and the doctor doesn't seem like he cares. I found another pediatric dentist called A+ dentistry, which is great! I was a new patient to Dr. Shims practice and I took my daughter and son there. My daughter is 7 and son is 3 and they didn't even shed a tear. The staff and ambiance of the office is very accommodating and soothing for kids and the hygienists were very gentle and friendly. Dr. shim consulted with us and it was very clear that he had children because of what he was saying. We definitely will be back!!! read more

We had a horrible experience. My 2 year old son was nervous, and the assistant had zero skill with kids and completely freaked him out. They gave him completely unnecessary x-rays. It was his first visit and his teeth have plenty of space. I was 6 months pregnant and they were unsure if I should be back in the treatment area with him because the x-ray room was next door. Luckily my husband came too, so I just sat outside while my toddler screamed for me. Seriously though, if the radiation isn't contained to that room, they have major issues! I had an awesome experience at Kids Smile Dental. My son is almost nine and has never really had a dental experience. He has severe sensory issues so the dentist is usually an absolute nightmare, as he gets extremely nervous and panics. As soon as they started with x-rays, I knew this experience would be different. The staff was incredibly patient and friendly. Never in a million years did I think that he would end up getting his teeth cleaned! The dental assistant was the best! This is such a non professional place. The staff there are real stuck up specially the girl at the front desk always looking angry and it definitely looks she doesn't like working there . So I went to the office 3 weeks ago due to my son having pain in one of his teeth. And literally nobody, none of the staff specified what he was getting done. I went through 1,2,3,4,5 people in the office and none of them told me anything. They just told me he needed work done so i was like ok hes going to get his tooth fixed, all i wanted was for the pain to go away . When my child comes out of the room. He has his whole front teeth with silver crowns on them when i clearly told them i didnt want them since the last visit he had. I go back into the office and ask them why they do it with out my consent and all the doctor said was, we assumed you knew. And he told one of the staff" just give her the price for the white crowns" . And left!! Definitely not taking ny kids there ever again read more

Amazing experience! We've seen this place going grocery shopping and thought I would make my daughter's first appointment there. First of all, it is so cute in there! The staff and the dentist are so friendly and really know how to work well with children. My 1 and a half year old loved it there, and I was surprised with how cooperative she was with the staff!! When they took x-rays of her teeth, they even took an x-ray of the bottom teeth just to reassure me that she had teeth under the gums waiting to cut through. I was really disappointed with my experience here. Since the clinic is for children, I was expecting the dentist and staff to be more skilled at helping toddlers follow through with the cleaning and exam. The dentist did nothing to help my child with the exam. The dentist literally spent about a minute with us, he did not even introduce himself nor did he give us his impression of how my son's teeth are doing.
