    The Play Structure

I've got a broken ankle, it's pouring rain and these kids were climbing the walls. But here I sit drinking a stupendous peppermint mocha and knitting. Beer, wine, pizza and baked goods are available. The kids are in the bowels of a large play structure having the times of their lives. Ambiance: Not exactly quiet but the noise is a loud white noise of kids having a great time and adults visiting with one another. The service has been quick, patient and friendly.

We came to this place on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm with my wife and kids. It's a really cool place for kids to play when it's raining outside. It's like a cool indoor park but has food and beer inside. They have a good selection of food and beer but it's way overpriced in my opinion, a French fries equivalent to a small size fries will cost you about $7.50. The pizza is an average of $22 but what's worse is that I had to wait 45min to get the fries and tots. In fact my wife joked and said they plant a seed first, then wait for it to grow, then etc..just thought I would add that little humor. And just FYI it wasnt that great.

Tye made it amazing for us moms to host my godsons 6 year old party, and I was impressed with how clean and organized this establishment is in every way. I think it's a fabulous place for all parties, play dates, and place for celebrations and meet ups. What makes it wonderful is that they clean up for you, and there is an unlimited time for kids to play. I love that this place is in the heart of downtown seattle where kids need an establishment to thrive and play. Eatery and cafe has incredible options. Their pizzas were super delicious. We had bought a bottle of Malbec and it was phenomenal to have at a play place. Coffee was strong, fruit plate was impressive, and staff was bubbly. Lots of party rooms, so get your kids' birthdays booked!

I love this place. The staff is so kind and accommodating. My son and I always have a blast here. They offer a great variety of snacks and drinks which is a mush if you're planning on being there for a few hours. Not to mention it's clean I don't mind walking around with my shoes off. They definitely take pride in this establishment. 10/10 recommend!

Temple of Atlantis play area. Very cute, lots of levels and things to get into

Visiting Seattle for a conference with my 4y.o. and my parents. Was looking for something fun for him to do to burn off some energy after a week of being cooped up playing indoors or outside in the rain on equipment he couldn't climb (artists at play outdoor playground) and this place popped up. My son is loving it! He can do everything in there, climb all the levels and is going, going! Better deal is to pay for day pass since hourly is a rip. Even if just 2 hours, you get your $$ with over ther hourly rate. The cafe is nice- pricey, like everything else in Seattle! But a nice space for the whole family. Wish my hometown had something so quaint and useful, not just bounce houses!

A cool and expansive space, immediately engaging children of all ages! The cafe and dining area is huge - it would have been nicer to have a larger play area and less sit-around space. Two party rooms are available for rental. Parents can enter and play in structure, as well as kids up to 12-years. Everyone must wear socks. Food and beverage can only be obtained on premises and not brought in from outside, so be mindful of you have allergies or food sensitivities. The two girls working on this day seem to not want to be bothered, hardly exchanging any words, let alone pleasantries with the entry and food orders. Suggestion to owners: hire people who like kids, who are interested in families and who want to do their jobs. Paying an automatic 15% "tip" (non-negotiable) to contribute to staff's "living wages" is a joke when they do nothing to earn it (even so much as a smile or friendly nod in response to your thank you). This is NOT the example we want our children to learn from. Educate the employees. Train them. Coach them. Or fire them and hire new ones. The food is good - we tried the Player's Club Panini (over $11 with mandatory tip and tax), and it was a good size to share with a kid for lunch. But it's expensive. And you're stuck. On the bright side, free admission when you bring two canned goods on the last Wednesday of each month!

My "go to" is the most famous twice baked almond croissant. On this visit ordered the "go to" , blueberry ginger scone, ratatouille sandwich, turkey havarti sandwich, banana bread, and some Americanos to go. The croissant was on the crispier side, especially with the almond crumble on top it was a bit too cripsy for me, but I tend to like soft and flakey pastries so it's probably a matter of taste. There was a TON of almond filling in the middle. I enjoyed the taste and texture but it was too much filling for me personally. I would have liked more croissant in my croissant, so to say haha. The chocolate was slightly dark which worked well with the sweet pastry and filling! Overall I enjoyed the croissant but it was a tad too heavy on the filling and cripsy/crunchy for me.

The grilled cheese was made to perfection the bread was fresh, thick, and delicious, and it was packed with cheese! The tomato soup was also delicious with a unique flavor. My only (very minor) complaint is that it was served in a cup, which made it hard to dip the grilled cheese. A bowl would've been much better for dipping! Overall, this café was a quiet, cozy spot with pleasant employees. I'd definitely visit again.

Because you never turn away a delicious PNW Salmon dish. The place is cute, mainly wooden, lots of plants inside (my allergies were killing me here hehe). Plenty of sitting areas and window views too. I got lucky to seat by a window to just enjoy the rainy view. Their Salmon toast was delicious! I asked for the cream cheese on the side because I cant have lactose but I still wanted to try their dish with all ingredients. So I dipped the slices a few times to try it all and omg its so perfectly paired. I totally recommend it! The coffee was ok. I had their gingersnap latte seasonal drink. I asked with only 1 pump of sweet and alternative milk. I was not impressed. I prefer black coffee haha but if you enjoy sweet drinks you may enjoy this one. I still finished it, so it wasn't terrible just not something I'd order again. Also, Idk why my coffee was served on a to-go cup. Maybe that took some of the joy of it? Overall, I recommend the this spot. Staff was friendly. The menu is vast. Sitting arrangements are great and cozy. Within walking distance from the convention center and a couple of the hotels in the area.

They sell themselves around being a holiday themed shop which isn't a bad thing, but when it's not the holiday season, the charm feels almost mismatched. All that to say, I love the idea, the space, and the vibes here but have often looked past it because of my perception with the branding. However, I will say their menu is great and the holiday joy is more of a supplement rather than a cover up or gimmick. I would comfortably visit Jollidaze for their drinks and get a working session. Wifi available, washroom (restrooms) available, and outlets available. Ube Phe Latte - rich, creamy, ube foam on top of a strong ca phe! There's also some ube milk, so a three layered drink. Both parts of ube were nutty, sweet, and paired with the ca phe amazingly. Strong Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk always hits but the ube mixture is a cherry on top. Up there with the other ube coffees around. Strawberry Matcha - honestly a simple no frills strawberry matcha. Smoothly whisked matcha, lightly sweetened strawberry puree, and a cup to be mixed in. Maybe more jam than other spots, which can help sweeten the drink and add some texture (chewiness), so might have to say above average.

However, I did end up trying one of their seasonal menu items - the Sakura Blossom Cloud Latte. I customized this drink with oat milk, even though the foam has to stay as dairy. The oat milk added a nutty creaminess that I particularly enjoyed. There were notes of the sweet Sakura syrup with a slight saltiness from the cream foam that gives the drink its perfect balance. It was a refreshing drink for a pick-me-up and they only had it for a limited time!
