Phase but will always say "yes" to "jump jump" (what she calls the class). The only issue is the lack of parking. It can be a hassle since the center is located in the Big O tires/auto body/mechanics shared parking lots. So, be sure to come early to get a space!

A few have been removed already. Overall, with practices like this, you should be wary of enrolling your child. There are many other upstanding businesses in the area. I just don't understand this back and forth, and now I'm learning that this company uses virtual concierges from another country to communicate with clients (see photo). It shows this establishment is a very cookie cutter academy and best suitable for only kids less than 10 years old ( lanes were Very narrow aka cramped, my kid scraped his back and was bleeding) I called the ASA specifically to inquire if they are a good fit for my child's swimming lesson needs. I have explained in detail what level my child is at which he knows most of the strokes and has been playing waterpolo competitively. He now wants to join a competitive swim team which he wasn't able to bc he didn't know how to do flip turns and he is not very good at back stroke. We want to improve these areas specifically and we want to know if 1, they have a specific class that will fit this need, 2, he is a teenager so we need to know if he personally thinks the class will work for him. The girl offered a trial class and we showed up. She told me over the phone that this class will help with what he needs but ofc when we attended it was a class based on age and not skills. Clearly was not what we were looking for but as I was sitting there, a lady came by asked me what I was looking for bc she can see he was not a little kid and he can almost qualify to be an instructor based on how well he swam. After I explained our situation again which I didn't mind, she said they have a stroke specific class which will make more sense for him. I asked if we can do a trial class she said yes. And, again that's not the case bc when the front desk staffs tried to book one they needed a manager's approval. The manager refused and asked us to pay bc they only offer 1 trial class. I explained the situation being we attended an incorrect class etc then she insisted it doesn't matter bc trial class is to access what level he is at so one class will suffice.... THIS IS THE PART why I wrote this review. As a paying client who has to commit to at least three months of swimming lessons at $52/class, I should have the say so if the class, the instructor, the lessons are going to work for us. We also get to evaluate the school. But from the manager, it's a one way street even though the whole point of a trial class for us was to see if my child will get the training he needs. Not to mention we wasted our time driving to this class on a school day to which it doesn't work for us at all. Like she made it seem like I wanted to get another free class smh. I was even considering private lessons if the instructor was very good at helping my child! It's this type of poor management makes you lose business.

Given his small stature, he found it difficult to put the ball into a 10 foot basket. However, Marc provided endless encouragement and motivation. One fine day, he finally put the ball in the basket! Not prepared to rest on his laurels, our son proceeded to come home and practice shooting hoops for two hour straight. He was able to get a total of 54 baskets! Not only does he love basketball and practice quite a bit, but he has come to love watching the NBA on TV having a greater appreciation of these amazing athletes. There was also a small play area for younger kids as well. This room came with a bubble machine that could be a add on. The third room was the party room. We had a pizza party and all the kids had juice boxes. Pizza was pretty good. We brought our own cake and snack bags. The staff set everything up for us. Truly convenient and kids had a blast. The next day, I received a follow-up phone call from Pump It Up asking if I had any additional questions. During the conversation, the representative interrupted me and asked if she could call me back. I told her that was completely fine, but unfortunately I never received a call back. While this may seem like a small thing, it really put the customer experience into perspective for us. When making a large investment for a child's birthday party, communication and follow-through are very important. After not receiving the promised callback, we ultimately decided this was not the right place for our family to host our child's celebration. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that future customers receive more consistent communication during the booking process.
