We have been coming here for years, but unfortunately the quality of care has declined significantly since the staff changed. On two separate occasions (once with each of my children) the expected procedure was CHANGED without clear communication. When I questioned it, I was told that I must have "misunderstood." I find that difficult to believe as I have never had an issue understanding a dentist's explanation in my entire life. The lack of accountability was very disappointing. Don't really know why this place has 2 stars but I've Been taking both of my kids here since they got their first teeth & I've never had a problem. Staff was always nice & I've never been asked to wait in the waiting room at all. All my appointments with them go smoothly & I don't have any complaints on the quality of care my kids get. read more

Be prepared to be fired as a patient. This doctor does not like parents making the decisions for their children. It's the only reason I can think of that we got a certified letter of being fired. YOU STAY IN THE PEDIATRICIAN'S OFFICE, RIGHT?!?! It was the worst doctor's visits I've experienced in my life! Dr. Amy did not listen to my grandson's cry for pain. She worked on several other teeth and he didn't have THIS reaction. He would shriek when the water from the drill hit his tooth. She even went so far as to instruct her staff to hold him down so she could treat him. Thank goodness I stayed in the room with him to stop that from happening - who knows what would have happened! She said it was because children get worse when they come back often. (It's the doctor's responsibility to develop a rapport with their patients, not the other way around. And for all the children that are facing cancer - their disposition gets worse with every visit/treatment?!) She said he needed to be sedated. She never took another x-ray to see how close the hole was to his nerve!!! After he was treated successfully at another dentist, I went to ask for an apology for her service, she refused to have a conversation and called the police on me. DO NOT GO HERE. This dentist is AWFUL! Some of the staff is friendly, but they do a mediocre job cleaning and the dentist has TERRIBLE bedside manner. Shames kids for having after school snacks. Told my daughter (who had no cavities by the way) she needs to have prettier teeth to match her face.. I asked if my son needed his tooth pulled and she said we do NOT say that in front of kids. I explained how I don't lie to my kids because it sets them to not trust the dentist next time and she escalated the situation, raising her voice telling me she studied psychology and has been doing this longer and knows how to handle my kids better than I do. Made an appointment months ago for my 5 yr old and my 2 yr old due to life I had to cancel and never got around to rescheduling. My daughter had a doctors appointment yesterday Nov 1st and since I was in the area I called on a whim hoping they would be able to squeeze my two kids in as new patients. The front desk agents were very accommodating and allowed my children to be seen. The waiting room is small but clean and peaceful they even have a little table and chair for the children. I filled out all the paperwork and we were taken to the back. Veronica was very patient and informative. It was my 2 yr olds first ever cleaning and she was very gentle. My 5 yr old was nervous but she talked out every step she was doing and that helped him out a lot. She was quick and efficient. The doctor came in to check all was right and she too was very sweet, patient and caring when it came to my children she answered any questions and concerns and we all left very happy. They are less than 1star. My daughter was evaluated the beginning of December,and they still haven't gotten approval from my insurance company. I have to constantly call them and they claim their work is already done, and they are waiting on my insurance. Insurance says they haven't received anything from them. They are literally the worst dentist I've ever been to. Meanwhile my 4 year old has a toothache for more than 4 weeks while we wait on the incompetent people at this dental office. read more

During our routine check up the dental hygienist informed me that I am not allowed to go back with my son because of Covid policy. My son is eight years old and I do not let him out of my sight unless he's at school. When I started with this practice they did not have this policy and they tried to make me implement it without any notice. I was not sent a letter, an email or given a phone call prior to my appointment about this new change. In this crazy world I do not allow my child to be alone with adults that I do not know and trust. I had to argue my way back there as if they had any rights to my child. The staff was rude and very inconsiderate. If they are so afraid of Covid they shouldn't be open because they operate literally in peoples mouths. I recently received a notice that said they were the terminating my son as patient because I refused to let my son be alone with their staff. Because of past trauma my son and I are not comfortable with him belong alone with strangers. But apparently this kid friendly dentistry can't understand that. read more

If I could give anything less than 1 star that this business doesn't deserve then I most definitely would. The staff is extremely rude and reading the reviews now I wish I would have back then. They claimed that I missed 3 appointments for my daughter but didn't have any proof of them sending a supposed phone call or text. Any office I have been to as of late sends text messages confirming and I keep them ALL! So to be told that she missed appointments is beyond me because I for one don't make an appointment that isn't needed and if I had an appointment then a text message or email would be great. Mind you I'm trying to make an emergency visit for A REASON! They should be ashamed and I highly do not recommend this facility. read more

This place and dentist is rude after having a scheduled appointment a month in advance they call me to cancel my appointment the day before and refuse to see both my kids just because I had to take my oldest to a closer dentist due to transportation and other reason and they stated because he went somewhere else now the refuse to not only see him but also my youngest who hasn't been seen by anyone else. They were very nasty and rude and not even a valid enough reason I will never take my kids back here so unprofessional and upsetting that they wait until the day before when I could have had my kids seen already by someone else read more

I am very disappointed with my visit today. The main dentist is not there and the dentist who is covering wasn't very helpful. I dont think that the dental assistants did a thorough cleaning of my kids teeth. The dental assistant asked the other staff for a gauze and the staff picked up the gauze with bare hands (no gloves!!) and hand it out to the dental assistant that was working on my daughters teeth!....Then the dental assistant who was taking the x-ray was hard to understand and kept using the word " pain " to an already anxious kid, making it worst!! I did not want to be rude but there is no explanations of what they are doing, so i have to ask. The dentist told me that i was rude, but you and your staff are far from being a pediatric dentistry office@!!! You are fast in telling us find another dentist, well you know what, you dont have to tell me coz we are never bringing our kids back to your office! read more

Staffs and Doctor are not pleasant with kids and parents , they need to remember that they are working with kids, they should not be in Pediatric , my last visit I been told by the hygienist that I can't stay with my son he's not a baby , how much will a child can remember about the proper way to care for his gum & teeth, when I confronted her , she said that her room is too small and after couple weeks I received a discharge letter in the mail to find another dentist for my children , I was so happy to go find a better, more qualified doctor for my children where I can get some respect. read more

I took my 2 yr old and 5 yr old there was was very happy. Very short wait with a friendly and patient staff who understand children. The hygienists and dentist made my boys feel very comfortable and the dentist took time to discuss dental concerns with us and answer questions. We had some bad experiences at another practice and I'm happy we found Kidzone. read more

The receptionists and hygienists were amazing with my son. It was his first time (hes 1) and they were all smiley and talkative to him making which in pediatrics is extremely important. Dr Gabby left much to be desired. She was very "blah" barely introducing herself to me and not speaking 1 word to my son the entire time she was in the room. After she looked at his teeth (zero cavities) she started to tell me about limiting sugary drinks and no going to bed with a bottle, good stuff for parents but I explained he only drinks water and breast milk and doesn't use a bottle anymore and it was like she didn't hear me and just kept going on. I scheduled his next appointment but asked to try the other Dentist because as I said the support staff was great and they are the ones spending the most time with him now anyway. 1st of importance with ped dentists is skill, but a close 2nd to me is absolutely bedside manner when a toddler is scared and new and Dr. Gabby fell really short there. read more
