Inside of the Bubbly Mall where Kiku Sushi is located-nice and clean and plenty of seats, sofas and tables!

I went on a Saturday around 1pm and the place was empty. This is inside of the Bubbly Mall and there are a few other restaurants inside. They have parking all around the building and the place was very clean. There are some artwork for sale that are made by local artists displayed inside of the building which is really cool. Food was ok...miso ramen had a big clump of miso stuck on the bottom of the container which was disappointing, takoyaki had nice flavor but tako was tiny. The salmon avocado roll was ok. (Everything cost over $31.) The service was rather fast and very friendly. I wasn't sure which ramen to try and the nice person at the register explained and helped me decide. I think the Bubbly Mall is a nice place to go especially with people-this way, they can pick and choose what they like. Overall though, the price is high (one place sold onion rings for $10) for an ok food.

Fast service, tasty rolls, chill atmosphere. My sister chose two rolls from Kiku to share: a Cali roll and a shrimp tempura. The rolls were a bit small but quite tasty. They were also a bit pricy for their size--over $8 each. That said, service was very quick and friendly. Not sure how this compares to other sushi places in the area, but I'm rating 4/5 stars mostly because the price is high for what you get.

Very welcoming, quick food service, hot when picked up, taste clean food, they wore gloves, boxed with napkins and everything was correct. Will go back! Best ginger!

Normally that bothers me when there's multiple cultures on a menu because there's not a speciality but I had Korean and Japanese items that tasted great. Only thing I thought that didn't belong on the menu was Chicken Farfalle pasta. Spoiler alert, large portions so be warned that a lot of items can be shared on don't get too many. The price I paid when I ordered sushi and an entree. My favorite sushi roll was the Citrus Rainbow Roll. Good quality fish plus the citrus helped create an additional flavor. Another thing to order is the Kalbi Beef. Service was great. Our server suggested items that were all great. Only disappointment was the sake I ordered. It wasn't the best taste I have had.

It made perfect size rolls look of the caliber of supermarket quality.. it's a simple fix.. offer to remake the roll.. if you offer to have the roll cut down you're now making 6 into 12.. just let it be.. instead "that's how it comes" no it's not, not 5 other times in the last week and a half I've been there! I asked why he would be making this into something it didn't need to be? The second server who took care of me yesterday remarked that I complained yesterday too, which didn't happen. I asked him what I complained about-allegedly I complained about the sauce.. didn't happen. The excessive sauce on the Titantic went amazing with the OSU roll which comes with none.. I ended up speaking to the manager.. he listened and was extremely nice. I would have come back to eat there another 5 times next week ordering the same rolls and not bother trying anywhere else.. now I don't feel comfortable because of these servers... Could this be an isolated incident? Maybe. Am I comfortable eating there as much as I was and would have continued? Absolutely not. A waste of an incredible restaurant. Hopefully I can try again when I come back in a few months and get the server with the mustache.. that dude is an 11/10. Super disappointed that this is a rave review like it should have been. 80 percent of my experience was perfection. Here's hoping you enjoy your visit!

Instead of my usual chicken nachos, I decided to try something different. Shredded beef Taquitos Hacienda. Made with a rich mole sauce and topped with red onion and avocado slices, this was either going to be really good or a complete fail. Thankfully it was really good. Mole may not be for everyone's taste buds. You can taste the chocolate in the sauce, more so than any mole I've had before. But it all worked well...shredded beef, crispy tortilla, onion and avocado. Swimming in a generous amount of sauce. I cleaned the plate but forgot to take a pic. Whoops. They also had great chips and homemade salsa that had a slight zing to it. Also came with refried beans and something that resembled cole slaw. I took a pic of the chips lol. I would definitely stop again and pick something different from their extensive menu.

At check in, no-one acknowledged us (rough start) and pointed us to follow the host to a booth. However, our server was terrific. We explained it was our first visit, and asked if we had questions. We were not familiar with Barria, so she explained it too us and while she made sound very tempting we ordered plates we were familiar with with-Pollo Loco and some very similar. They served us tortillas with fresh Salsa and a refried bean dip ( really delicious). The food arrived promptly and was piping hot (the only way to serve a mexican meal). The food was fantastic and the server's description of Barria will have us coming back for a new experience. The decor is a little loud, but inviting.

But they fit the bill well. Fresh hot mustard raised the bar. Dumps. Owner tried to talk me into frying them. I said nope. Nice old school chewy dough exterior, the filling was ample tho a bit bland. The vinegar dipping sauce brought em back to life. Soups. No complaints. The wonton broth was quite savory, nice plump wontons along with sliced char su and mushrooms. Hot and sour had a good deep taste and an ok amount of ingredients. Needed a lil more fire. Twice cooked pork. Saving it for later but looks legit. Lots of tasty cabbage which is the signature. Though the use of char su instead of pork loin is off target I suspect it will be ok. Still miss the Hunan House version that left their menu a few years back. I'll go back one day and try some other stuff, their salt pepper wings and shrimp toast and fried rice dishes looked good in photos.

Our dumplings took over 20 minutes to arrive, and my sushi roll took more than 40 minutes. What made this even more frustrating was that the restaurant wasn't very busy on a Sunday evening. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and repeatedly apologized for the delays, so no complaints there. Unfortunately, management handled the situation poorly. The manager spent most of the time upstairs, then came down and spent over 10 minutes chatting with another server before standing at the host stand. I eventually had to call him over myself. When he finally spoke with us, he didn't seem particularly apologetic, although he assured us he would "take care of us." That ended up being a $9 credit after an extremely long wait and disappointing experience. The service delays, lack of urgency from management, and high prices simply don't justify a return visit. We won't be back.
