Holiday pop-up
Vlad V.

I stopped by BLVD Kitchen & Bar for dinner and drinks on a Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. And not only that: during the holidays, BLVD Kitchen hosts a Christmas pop-up. Located at the Hilton Garden Inn in Old Town Scottsdale, I was able to find free parking on the street. Ambiance (4.5/5): Talk about an awesome holiday pop-up. Most of the bar and restaurant is outside, but there is also a small indoor area. The whole place is decked (pun intended) head to toe with Christmas lights and Christmas decorations. There are also multiple photo opps (though I'm not about that life). It's quite the festive environment. Outside of the pop-up, I imagine it's fun too. There's plenty of seating outside, including comfortable seating. . They also have a fire pit or two. Service (4/5): A couple of logistical blips, but overall, solid. While we had a waiter, they didn't have a lot of coverage, so I ended up ordering both food and drinks at the bar. When ordering food, they don't have any of those number thingies to give you so they can easily find your table. The bartender told me that I should check back after 15 minutes or so. I did and my food wasn't ready. This time around, she said they would find me, and they did. Streamlining this process would help a bit. Outside of that, I like that you don't have to make a reservation for the Miracle holiday pop-up. Nor do you have to pay an entrance fee. As it should be. Drinks (4/5): This is what you're here for (at least for the pop-up). They have a special list of 15 or so holiday cocktails (including two shots: the nice shot and the naughty shot). Many of the adult beverages come in awesome mugs like Santa mugs, a Christmas dinosaur, etc. You can purchase the mugs for an additional charge. The exception to that are the shots: they're $18 and you get to keep the mini Santa shot glasses. The cocktails are pretty pricey (we're talking $20 a pop for most of them). A bit overpriced, but I appreciated the creativity. Food (4/5): They have a relatively small menu consisting of appetizers, pizzas/flatbreads, and sandwiches. I went with the burger which is served with fries. It's a traditional burger, and it's done well. It won't blow your socks off, but it's a generous portion size, and I was satisfied. Next time around, I'll have to stop by to check out what BLVD is like when their holiday pop-up isn't going on.

Cheery Cherry Chocosaurus

We were a group of around 15 with a reservation on a Tuesday evening. There were several other parties there but they seemed a bit short staffed. The waitress came by a few times but we mostly ended up ordering drinks at the Miracle pop-up bar. I did order a cheeseburger but it came without cheese :( however, it was quite a good burger. The buns had some kind of garlic butter maybe and it really stepped up the flavors. Would get again. The drinks are what really shined here. I got the Jingle Balls Nog and it was delicious. The cup was small though and I really wanted more. Instead I tried the Cheery Cherry Chocosaurus and it was good too, but maybe too sweet for me. Strong cherry flavors going on with a hint of chocolate. Overall a fun night but the drinks were pricey but good. The food was pretty good too. Decoration was great. Service was lacking but it could have been an unexpectedly busy Tuesday night

We went to the Christmas bar pop up, Miracle Bar! They don't take reservations and luckily we were able to find a spot on a couch by a fire, where a family was on the other side. It was large enough where we couldn't even hear each other's conversations. Very warm by the fire it was perfect. Wonderful lights hanging all over the place -- very festive and good photo opportunities with a fake Santa and a sled. You do have to order inside at the bar, service is pretty nonexistent outside. I had the Snow Day Sipper which is a non alcoholic hot chocolate that definitely has a coconut flavor to it. It does have coconut syrup and coconut whipped cream, but I enjoyed it. It came in a cute Santa mug - didn't stay hot for long ... worth $16? No but it was tasty and good vibes. My boyfriend just ordered a beer - juicy Jack hazy IPA , he liked it! There was a live band that played early 2000 rock like Blink-182, loved it.

Ahhhhh this place was amazing! My friends and I stopped by yesterday for a fun day out, and that's exactly what it was. We got there early so there were lots of seating options. We ate, drank and took lots of pictures. I had the salmon sandwich and it was delicious. One of my friends had the chicken sandwich but didn't like the taste. Our server was super sweet and took great care of us! There are games for the kids (and adults) so bring everyone! This place is super festive, the inside bar has a cute area for pics as well as the restroom. Enjoy!!

They decorated so cute for Christmas! Wish they had actual food thou. They only had appetizers. We got the nachos and the Santa's snowball and it was very good.

We came for the Xmas pop up and it way by far our favorite in terms of decor, ambiance, the cover band played the best version of genuine-pony I have ever heard! Drinks were festive and reasonably priced!

Not too bad for a hotel restaurant! I got my food to go and sat at the bar for a drink while I waited. The spicy chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the onion rings were perfectly cooked. They have a nice outdoor space which is perfect this time of year in AZ, but I felt like the inside wasn't as comfortable as it could have been.

$22 for a double Jameson is outrageous, for even what would be a nice bar. Do yourself a favor and walk to any of the many bars across the street and save yourself some money

Big screen TVs and happy business people dining and having a beverage at the bar on a Sunday night and a Monday night.

Limited menu, but it is a cool atmosphere with giant TVs and a very nice and efficient bartender, Stephanie. Chicken fingers were okay. Nachos were really good with more than just cheese. Looks like some sort of cream they add. Very tasty! Located inside the Hilton garden Inn, this bar is right outside the pool gate with plenty of space outside to sit.

It feels brand new and the staff is super kind and friendly. - Super cute venue and I love the decor and the AI generated duck photos on the walls, LOL! - Expected board games with the name, but was pleasantly surprised to find miniature versions of bowling, axe throwing and curling! - This spot is perfect for company get-together's, which is what I was there for, birthday parties or just a low-key hang out with friends. Highly recommend checking out House Rules, especially with our summers being so hot. This is a great indoor activity. My birthday is coming up in August and even thinking of throwing a small birthday thing here with friends/family!

We were exploring Old Town Scottsdale last February when we came across this spot. We were already…read moredeep within the 2026 olympics, so, we thought it might be neat to try curling. Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. There's literally something for everyone, and definitely check out the Frybread Lounge for some great Native American fusion cuisine Chee

Love the special touches like the light at your table to call the martini cart bartender over to do table side personalized martinis. Our waitress was phenomenal and offered so many helpful menu tips as well. For the ambiance, think dark, moody, and sexy vibes. Even though the exterior and bathroom areas of the W Hotel are under construction, the ambiance within the restaurant is beautiful and unaffected. I also appreciated their waiting area with seating and TVs so we could catch the very end of the World Cup game! The food and drinks were amazing. I had a delicious mocktail with elderflower - dare I say one of the best I've ever had...I'd go back for just that! Everyone else at our table loved their martinis as well. Often when you dine at these new aesthetic spots in Phoenix/Scottsdale the food disappoints - but not here. Only dish we didn't love was the chicken piccata which was a bit plain. My vodka pasta and the braised beef pasta were delicious and flavorful. And let's not forget the dessert offerings: gelato, affogato, and tiramisu were all so good! I'll definitely return here it was top tier all around!

Before our table was ready, we sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks and the bar tenders were lively and super nice! Great service there. However the worst part of our experience was the hostess. She didn't smile at all throughout the whole time like she didn't want to be there at all. Honestly, probably need to get a new hostess cause everyone else was so nice and smiling and just a great vibe. Our server Kelly made up for how terrible the hostess was. Kelly walked through the menu with us and the favorite entrees as well as the martini cart which was such a fun experience. My husband got the veal cutlets and it was the best he's ever had. I had the branzino which was good but quite dry. I think if it had an actual light lemon type sauce it would make it easier to eat. We also got the Mac and cheese which almost didn't make it but our server made it happen! We got the chocolate torte to go and holy moly that was so good. Also, can't forget the calamari, it's a must have. That dip was divine! We also loved the antipasto that came while we were looking at the menu and it was such a great twist from the usual bread service cause it was light. All in all, we loved it and we will be back and we hope the hostess is a different person when we do come back!
