This is a stunning and beautiful store that stands out in the hustle and bustle of SF Chinatown. This is not your place to go if you're in the market for a cheaply made satin robe that will fray with 1 wear. But if you're looking for a capsule wardrobe piece made of luxurious, hand-painted silk robes as a gift or for yourself, this is your place to be. I have traditionally thought of robes being bedtime attire but this store has changed my mind. They have shown me just how chic these comfortable and beautifully crafted robes can look so well put together when paired with the right outfit (eg jeans, heels, and blouse or a silk dress). The store and staff are welcoming and I appreciated that they carry a range of sizes (petite to plus size) and prices (~$100-300 range). Their inventory changes but they do always have cute accessories like jewelry, incense, candles, crystals, books, and lotions for sale as well. This is a unique store that is worthy of a visit and some shopping especially to treat yourself or a loved one.

Such a great addition to Chinatown. If you read the back story of Kim+Ono you can appreciate it so much more. All patterns are hand sketched and elegantly designed. Women sister owned by Tiffany and Renee. After falling in love with my first purchase I couldn't wait to purchase another one. They are also so comfortable to wear around the house. Perfecting for lounging and getting ready for the day.

I decided to play tourist on New Year Day. It was nice to browse and see what's new or improve in Chinatown. Came on here and saw their beautiful silk robes. I am more of a fleece person and found other neat items in their store. Purchased crystals for my energy and beautiful small accessories. They also have items from my favorite store Abacus Row!

A contemporary and spacious store in Chinatown offering kimonos at various prices. There are washable silk ones as well as polyester based ones. Occasionally they have markdowns and have a rack of those kimonos towards the back of the store. They also have a curated selection of accessories, candles, fragrances, books, incense, and clothing. The attention to detail with the packaging when you purchase something is a nice touch, makes for a great gift! COVID Precautions: Staff wear masks and there is hand sanitizer available.

Simple * minimalistic * kimono heaven Little slice of Japanese inspired heaven towards the outskirts of China Town. We literally had no shame waltzing in just to sit and rest our feet on the futons. Everyone was welcoming . They have way soooo many kimono options-- I'm talking silk, floral, cotton texture, red, marigold, ivory - you name it ! I also enjoyed the random art, street fashion shoes, and Knick knacks to savor. Given the new year and seasonal changes i def considered buying the sage to ward off bad spirits annnnnd fight any bacteria in the air since people have been sick in my home .

How gorgeous is this store? It feels like you've just walked into the perfect pin on Pinterest. Every detail in the store is so well designed, bright and calming. I was surprised to see a store like this in this part of town. I hope it's the beginning of more boutiques and art galleries in the area? There's something so graceful, tranquil, and sexy about a kimono. The colors and prints here are modern and beautiful. Gorgeous handcrafted silk kimonos each with an original botanical water color print. They also have an amazing curation of gifts from jewelry, candles, masks, and other spa essentials. What a perfect place to host a party for bridesmaids and pick out kimono's for your wedding?

I wanted my mom and I to have something nice to wear for my getting ready photos on our wedding day. I was on a time crunch and didn't have time to visit the store in person, so I ordered two kimono robes (Peony and Butterfly in white for me, Aimi in blue for mom) online. They were sent and received quickly. The packaging was very nice and thoughtful, and the kimono robes look just as beautiful in person as they do in their pictures, if not more so. My mom and I are both very petite (5'0" and small framed), so I did wish that there were more sizing options other than the one size fits all. Regardless, I'd still highly recommend this store and their kimono robes and really enjoyed having them on my wedding day.

Located in the heart of Chinatown, but feels like it could be in the middle of Market St. Very impressed with not only the quality of the store itself, but also its products and level of customer service. Even if you're not in the market for a kimono, it's worth a peek.

I would call it WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE, because the entry is definitely accessible, and if anything isn't, the employees go out of their way to move things and make it accessible! Their attitudes in general are very friendly and helpful, as is that of the owner (it's a woman-owned store!). Therapy doesn't close until 7:30 pm, which gives you plenty of time to run in for a birthday card and gift after you leave work and are on your way to a friend's birthday party!
