caterpillar roll (front) and i love salmon roll (back)
Mya F.

omg i loved this place! we went around 6 pm in the evening and not a lot of people were there. we did have multiple different servers taking care of us, which i thought was a little strange, but they refilled our waters any time we needed it! the bathrooms were bigger than expected, and also they were blaring their music so loud in there, but i loved it. the sushi rolls were like minimum $15 each, but i don't mind. 2 rolls filled me up! also the ginger was so good. a little robot came by and gave us our food it was so cute. i recommend for sure!

Really good food.. super fast. 24 hours so if You're staying at the Wynn or any hotels near by, convenient walk at any time of day. Prices are very solid for Vegas standard. The vegetables are fresh and tasty. The kalbi is amazing.

Japchae with Chicken

I ordered the japchae and swapped the beef for chicken, it was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. Honestly, this dish could easily stand on its own as a vegetarian or vegan option and still be a hit! The complimentary kimchi samples were also amazing, we tried both the cucumber and cabbage, and loved them. The hostess was super friendly and polite, and the service was quick. The ambiance is casual, and while the interior is a bit dated, it's clean and comfortable. I'll definitely be coming back before I leave Vegas!

Banchan

I came here late one evening after just landing in Vegas and it was so much better than I expected. The inside of the restaurant is a bit older and fairly empty when we went (to be fair, it was midnight). Service here was pretty quick and the woman who was our waitress was so kind. As we were planning to go out after, we didn't want to do BBQ. Originally we wanted to do their AYCE but unfortunately, by the time we got there, the sushi service had stopped (I believe it stops around 11:30). Instead, we got their galbi bibimbap and the seafood pancake. Both were so delicious and comforting. The banchan itself was okay, but both entrees hit the spot and were so flavorful. Definitely felt like mom's cooking kind of vibe. Great spot for a late night bite!

I saw this restaurant in June of this year. I decided to try it tonight for dinner, I ordered the plate meal with spicy pork. It came with soup, kimchi and cumbers . The portions are large and had salad and macaroni salad and long rice. The service was great and quick. Besides Korean food they also serve Japanese cuisine as well. The ambiance has a lot of wood fixtures. My dinner with tip was $24.00

My new favorite place to eat in vegas! i'm in vegas twice a month for conferences and finally found this hole in the wall joint. everything is prepared fresh to order, and the staff make you feel like home. it's not an exotic place so don't expect a lot. the food is amazing and will not disappoint. WOW!!

Food is taking forever. Took an hour to bring rice paper out. Favoritism on table assistance.

This place never disappoints when i fly down from Hawaii..live the new rolls they added..the dragon roll and baked lobster roll was in point..Miguel and everyone in the back of the house knows their potential..definitely bringing the rest of the squad here tomorrow

Salmon Roll

This place is 24 hours! Crazy. I mean it's Vegas Strip, you should be able to find food no matter what time it is right? Anyways, the plaza itself shares with many other businesses, so depending on when you go, parking can get crowded. We went for dinner and thankfully we were able to find a spot rather quickly. Upon entering, we were seated and our order was placed. It's curious to see that they have some sort of collaboration with Yama Sushi as they also offer it on their AYCE menu. We ordered 3 different sushi - salmon roll, philly roll, and a tuna? (only took 1 picture of Salmon roll). We tried the brisket, pork belly both thin sliced and regular, and we got all sorts of sides, steamed egg, corn, soft tofu soup, and fried rice. The banchans are limited. The kimchi itself is made of regular cabbage and I don't think it's been fermented long enough, the cabbage was cut weird and tasted really raw. The cucumber was good and the fish cake was delicious of course. Overall the meat quality can be better, it's rather gimmicky that they have AYCE sushi roll as well on the menu. The sushi could be better too. It just seems like they try to do too much. The sushi was served by a robot, otherwise we placed the order with a real life waiter. They also offer different dipping sauces but their own k-bbq sauce seems lacking. They also did not have rice paper wrap. The service is not bad, but there was a moment where we had to press the button on our table multiple times before someone came to get us. Our grill was changed timely. The place itself is very spacious and can accommodate a lot of customers. Very convenient the fact that it's open 24 hours. They also offer other food items that are not AYCE.

everything came very fast costumer service was really good especially Melvin. I really recommend coming here if your in vegas great place. everything was so GOOD

Does the kimchi they serve has fish or meat sauce in preparation? I eat kimchi, but some restaurants prep them with fish sauce, so want to know how they do here

We were very pleased and happy my daughter found this restaurant on Yelp while we were in Vegas!…read more The reviews did not disappoint us or let us down! There was some major construction in the neighborhood, so it took us in circles but we finally arrived! The restaurant is quaint and located in a strip mall. Parking was crazy, and we had quite a few panhandlers walk up to us as we waited outside for our table. The restaurant is smaller but extremely crowded. Many patrons were dining there, and we can understand why. We ordered a variety of dishes, appetizers and desserts. Each one was fresh and had great flavoring! We did not order the AYCE. We ordered several rolls and they were 5/5. The rice was fresh and so was the fish. There were not any aftertaste or seaside smells at all. They didn't overcompensate by drowning the rules in sauces. You can actually taste everything which was very refreshing. The muscles were cooked properly. They were not overcooked or undercooked. They were not too watery like most places. They actually used real missago. The only thing that I would suggest is to maybe spend a little bit more time cleaning the shells. We ordered several appetizers such as the taoyaki, tempura, edamame and a few others. I love the way the temper was nice and crispy on the outside and the shrimp was still tender and fully cooked. The edamame was not watered down and had the right amount of salt. The taiyaki actually had chunks of octopus and not just smush seafood and sauce in the middle. The desserts were okay, we asked for green tea but they gave us something different. The tempora fried ice cream was a little too battered. The service was pretty good even though they were extremely busy. They did come and check on us a couple of times and we did have to wave them down a few times. However they were friendly and definitely did respond to us when we asked for additional items. We definitely do not have any complaints about this restaurant. We will definitely be coming back. We highly recommend it.

Assuming you coordinate your order(s) with your table and don't order rolls with a lot of rice, it's totally doable to get a great bang for your buck here! We ordered an array of items such as the nigiri, baked green mussels, oysters, edamame, mini udon, baked scallop roll, yakitori skewers, The Shit, Umami Special, and plenty more! Drink wise: 10/10 would recommend the Strawberry Lychee Soju cocktail Nicole's customer service was on point during my family's most recent visit. Everything we ordered came out at a reasonable time and our water jug was proactively refilled without us having to flag her down. She even greeted my dad for Father's Day! That was a lovely touch, seeing as we came in right before the dinner rush. Coming from a brief food service background myself and in the interest of mindfulness, I try to make ordering a lot of items as easy as possible. It helps a to have a server that's personable and attentive. We're so thankful for her taking such great care of us! Ending up on the waitlist (20+ min for a table) is almost a guarantee here, rest assured Umami is definitely worth it.

Shigotonin is a delightful discovery off the Vegas strip (but may as well be on the strip…read moreconsidering the taste and quality of food here) in a small plaza. Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto. Cannot wait to return to Shigotonin!
