We barely saw her and she forgot to bring out water after saying she would. Not sure why service was slow because the restaurant was rather empty while we were there. The food was good. This is my second time here. Everything I had the last time with family was delicious that I had to come back two weeks later. This time, there was a 30-35 min wait. Since I'm trying to not have a lot of leftovers, I opted to order the chicken and mushroom wonton soup. The waitress recommended that I get their freshly made noodles but I declined but she was right. The order came out in a reasonable amount of time. As I was waiting for my order, I was getting hungrier. By the time my soup arrived, I realized the waitress was right. I need the fresh noodles. I ordered the fresh noodles and are slowly until the noodles arrived. The waitress was so sweet and brought me more broth since the noodles would have overpowered the dish. It was so delicious. I added a few photos from two weeks prior when we were with our family. This is my new go-to spot the next time we're back in Vegas. The Noodle Den in the Sahara is an absolutely incredible choice if you are craving Asian food and are anywhere in the area. First location, walking up, our hostess was friendly and seated us immediately. The ambiance of the establishment is bright and welcoming and really made for a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. Our server came and I have to say that our particular server was the most friendly and professional server that I ever had. He was outstanding. In fact, when the manager walked by and asked how we were doing, we first commented on our outstanding server. The food itself was also very, very good. We started with an order of soup dumplings and then I had the hand pulled and knife cut noodles with duck. I asked for my dish to be extra spicy. The soup dumplings were very good. Full of flavor and presented attractively, they were a great appetizer. The noodle dish was also outstanding. It was wonderful. It could have been more spicy, but i did add extra hot chile oil and really, really enjoyed the dish. I would 100% recommend either of the two dishes to anyone fortunate enough to dine here. Pricing is very good, especially when you are considering that you are on the Las Vegas strip and the meal was as good as it was. My entree was under thirty dollars. I again would definitely recommend the Noodle Den in the Sahara hotel. If you are in Kas Vegas, definitely give this place a try. I will give it five stars not only on the food, but on the whole experience including the value of the meal. Go see for yourself. read more

This place had incredible service! They were having some issues with their kitchen when we went and they continued to supplement free food for us as appetizers until it was fixed and gave us 20% off of our bill, which was really nice of them. Overall, I really liked the food too! I felt like the portions were really big for the prices and thought it was a really cute ambience! read more

I came here with my family and we got the pepper beef fried rice, kung pao chicken, noodle den xiao long bao, pork dumplings, and Mongolian beef stir fried noodles, and the Taiwan beef brisket soup Everything was excellent and we were impressed by the quality, taste, price, and value for money. Very disappointed in management's decision to cut items from the menu such as: dumplings, choices with soups, wontons, and choices for entrees. Ordered food to go for a group of us, the wait for pick up was about 25 minutes (not too bad considering it was a Saturday night), the restaurant looked full of happy people. We ordered: Mongolian Beef Stir-fry with hand cut noodles- this was delicious! The sauce was flavorful, beef was cooked well, and the noodles were thick and had the perfect chew. Pan fried dumplings (pot stickers)- pork and chive: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside- full of flavor in every bite (the dipping sauce was a tad salty for us) Pork wonton soup- this was just okay- the broth was very light- to the point where it was more just like hot water. The wontons themselves were very good though. Sautéed cabbage- this was SO GOOD! Definitely added that extra crunch to otherwise softer food. A great addition to the meal. Noodle Den is located inside the Sahara - the same casino/venue where Magic Mike is hosted. Whether or not you're planning on attending a show, I'd recommend trying Noodle Den. Our party of 6 made a reservation for ~6:00pm on a Saturday, and we were told there was a 10 minute grace period. We were a little late beyond the grace period but luckily they weren't busy and were still able to seat us. We had two folks in our party with dietary restrictions / allergies, and our server was very attentive and accommodating -- which made it easier for us to have a family style dinner. We started with the cucumber salad (good - definitely recommend.) It had a strong sesame flavor and wasn't spicy despite having a good color to it. Our spicy wontons came out next (this was our party's favorite dish - don't skip!) they were juicy and flavorful and had a nice refreshing taste to them. We ordered 3 portions of the XLB, or soup dumplings. They were good - tender, a bit delicate, and freshly steamed. I wouldn't write home about them though! Our green scallion pancake came out next. It was good and served with ginger vinegar sauce (wish it came with chili oil tbh). And lastly we had some veggie noodles which were on the sweeter side. The onion in this dish was very strong which I enjoyed but others did not. One of the great things about this place is that you can always add more from the menu and it comes out quick. Their drinks are also substantially cheaper than other restaurants (margs came out to $10/ea). Not bad but not a "go out of your way" restaurant in my opinion. The food is decent but not top notch. I don't know if you would have to pay for parking but if so, then becomes another reason to go elsewhere. We ate there out of convenience because we were staying at the hotel and didn't want to go out. The service was average but I would have expected more for the type of restaurant and location but did think the atmosphere was pleasant. Started with the street food pork wonton soup and requested added bok choy to it. Plentiful wontons and bok choy/vegetable. The vegetable knife cut noodles with added duck was a little on the greasy side and had a sweet flavor to it. Very flavorful, nicely done with bean sprouts, green onions and bok choy. Chinese Oolong tea, a pot served and charged per tea cup. Felt good for the sore throat from the dry smoky environments we sustained over the week. Coffee Mochi for dessert - 2 small pieces. I was at the Sahara for a conference and tried out the Noodle Den menu first night at the hotel. I had gotten in later and it was very convenient since it's located in the hotel. I got the Beef Noodle Soup. It was a large serving. The hand cut noodles were okay but I prefer the vermicelli or glass noodles. The broth was pretty good and rich but the meat had a lot of fat which I only eat so I had to leave a lot of it in the bowl. I know everything in a hotel is more expensive but I thought $23 was just too much for what I got. My friend had a different dish and was less pleased with her dish. The service was good and we were served quickly. The restaurant was very clean and I liked the ambiance a lot. It was quiet and nice after being out on the casino area with a lot of noise. I'd give it 3.5 if that were an option. read more

When we got off the plane, we decided to have lunch at The Noodle Den. The restaurant was very clean, and the ambiance was nice. However, service was slow from the start. It took a while for our waiter to come and take our drink orders, even though the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. When the waiter finally arrived, we ordered drinks, an appetizer, and our meals--but everything took way too long to come out. We started with the Szechuan cucumber (expecting it to arrive with our drinks), but that wasn't the case. My hot and sour soup came first. About ten minutes later then we received the pork belly noodles and our drinks. The cucumber, which the waiter actually forgot, didn't arrive until much later--toward the end of our meal. As for the food, the hot and sour soup was just okay--not the best I've had. I love a good hot and sour soup, but this one didn't hit the spot. The pork belly noodles were thick, and the bowl was so full that it left no room to mix everything properly. The dish lacked flavor, which was disappointing for my BF. On the other hand, the Szechuan cucumber (when it finally arrived) was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, service was the biggest letdown. Staying at the Sahara last week and wanted a light dinner. I decided to try this restaurant. Decor was quite nice, good vibe, friendly server (Sinead). I ordered the Chicken and Mushroom Noodles. Noodles were handmade and delicious. Loaded with oyster mushrooms and small pieces of chicken dark meat. Topped with green onions. Somewhat satisfying, but the broth was on the bland side. This was a pleasant surprise. I came here for a late night snack so I didn't order a noodle but duck with pork rice. Pork and Duck were done perfectly. Asian food is hard to get by in Vegas and I was staying for a week at the Sahara so I resorted to noodle den twice. My first experience was better than the second leading me to believe what you order matters. I really like the tan tan chicken noodles. I also really liked the spicy chicken and mushroom wontons. Their online order and pick up service was convenient. The veggie noodles were really average and the chicken and mushroom dumplings resembled frozen dumplings. It's been a while since I got noodles for dinner. I had a staycation night at Palace Station and I decided to make the mile tirp to the Sahara to eat here. I was there about 5:15. They open at 5 and I was the first customer. I asked if I could sit at a high top table overlooking the windows where the women were working making soup dumplings. Dinner and a show. When I entered. I watched the man making the hand pulled noodles. He certainly knew how to do it and I could watch him from my window seat, too. I ordered the chicken dan dan hand pulled noodles. There was a chili sign on the menu next to the name. Normally, this means no spice for me. This, however, had a bit of spice that got a bit hotter as I ate. The noodles are on a bed of sauce. There is cooked chicken pieces, some crushed peanuts, and some good spice to the mixture. The server stopped and told me to mix the noodles well as much of the flavoring was at the bottom and needed to be spread around. The noodles were soft and tasty. The dish itself was quite delightful! For dessert, I got the green tea cheesecake. That was a good ending to the meal. I was so pleased I took the time to drive here for dinner. I don't know what all the hype is about, not sure about these high ratings. I reckon it's because The Noodle Den is on the strip...location, location, location. I feel a lot of places on the strip are over hyped and overpriced as well. IMHO this is definitely one of those spots. The venue is nice; modern, bright, spacious and inviting, which might explain the inflated prices. The service was fine, the staff were friendly, but food was overpriced and just OK for me. #Noodles on the Strip: ~ CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN WONTON - 2/5 Meh. I had much better at most other places. ~ PAN FRIED DUMPLINGS - 2.5/5 Best thing I ate that evening, still nothing to brag about. ~ BRAISED PORK BELLY AND STRING BEANS WITH HAND PULLED NOODLES - 2/5 This dish was OK; definitely edible, but bland, lacked flavor and the price...yikes! Not the most generous of portions either...pass. I'll pass on recommending or returning to the The Noodle Den, I thought it was overrated. This is located inside the Sahara Hotel, adjacent to the MJ One show. The noodles are hand-pulled, as you can watch the staff through the large window at the entrance. Both the Chicken and Mushroom Soup & the Spicy Kung Pao Noodles were delicious, however they were stingy on the chicken. You can hardly find any chicken pieces in the dishes. The broth for the Chicken and Wonton Soup was delicious and I enjoyed it. My daughter liked the Beef Brisket Soup, but it was sweeter than similar soups as other Asian noodle places. We also enjoyed the Pork Xiao Long Bao. The restaurant is right off the casino floor, but its far enough so you're not exposed to it. We sat at a booth for four, but they do have larger tables. I was a bit worried because it said spicy and I don't like spice but my server Rose assured me that I'd be okay and she was right, it's very mild and delicious. I added a little bit of lime and lemon for extra flavoring and found it a refreshing start. I wanted to try several things and yet price points and portions seem too big for sampling so I went with several smaller options. I moved on to the mushroom and chicken soup. Omg! So so good! Super light, well portioned to leave room for more entrees. I wasnt sure I tasted chicken and mushroom but didn't even care. Rose mentioned its subtle since ground up. Absolutely perfect! I wouldn't change a thing! Then I had to try the truffle pork bao that everyone kept raving about. I get it! They are uncredible! So rich with truffle flavor! I was a bit confused with what to do with the dipping sauce but figured it out! I didn't want to leave without at least trying their noodles so I asked her a side either plain or with soy sauce. It was brought out stirred in a sweet sauce that I did not care for. I asked for additional soy sauce and lemons to try to mask it but I would have really appreciated the offer to bring me out a plain side of noodles how I originally requested. That said, I very much appreciated that she let me order the side of noodles off the menu and was happy enough to try them. Five star overall! read more

Excellent food and excellent service! We were seated very quickly without a reservation (ate around 6 pm on a Monday). They were also very accommodating to our picky eater kids and they LOVED their chicken and noodles . The duck in the vegetable noodle dish was very tender and not dry, and the Mongolian beef stir fry with noodles was my favorite. The prices for food and drink were absolutely reasonable, and the portions were very generous (was able to get 2 rounds of leftovers in!). My only complaint was that the noodles do get soggy after being refrigerated and reheating, but I'm assuming that's a result of them being fresh in the first place. The Dan Dan chicken noodles were on point, they did not have any added sweetness and the spiciness was just on point. Great atmosphere and service as well! We were looking for an appetizing dinner this Friday evening but did not feel like leaving our hotel/casino and walked by "The Noodle Den."  Their hand-made noodle showcase caught our attention, so we walked right in. Luckily, there was no wait and were seated immediately. We tried their Mongolian Beef Stir-Fry, vegetable, and Kung Pao chicken dishes. All in their "Knife Sliced Noodles" style, which are "Fettuccine" style, thick noodles. Everything tasted amazing and very satisfying. Portions are generous. This is a very good, authentic Chinese restaurant. The restaurant is clean, with nice decor and comfortable seating.
