This is a really cool bar, lots of space, good size bar. The bartender was very attentive and nice. The prices are great for food and drinks and they run daily weekday specials. We came during lunch so it wasn't busy at all. Seems like allot of locals come here. The Mac and cheese balls were so good and had a little kick to them. I was at Kimmyz last night and had an amazing time! The people are sooo cool! The entire crowd was good times and rock and roll! The band was phenomenal! Drinks fabulous! Service was awesome! I enjoyed my time at Kimmyz. The bartender was awesome; Lauren I think her name was. They were just getting set up for live entertainment. With my background in the industry, I pay attention to the details. I ordered a bourbon and diet. No call, so I could taste what was in the Well. It was a good bourbon. Many places cheap it out and give you the lowest form of alcohol at this point. The food menu was your typical bar fare and the crowd seemed very friendly with a mix of hard working blue collars and the Tommy Bahama white collars floating around the tables. There are a plethora of TV's for the games and it is located in a pretty unique strip-mall that houses: Five Guys, Starbucks, Pet'smart, Walmart and many more. Basically, you could get lit up here and still get all of your tasks done. You know, when you tell your significant other that you have two more stops and you'll be home in an hour or so, then you order another drink and BS with your friends. I found it to be inviting and the bartender told me to roll in on Thursdays because she is in the house. I'll be back with my favorite girl next time. This is my favorite dive bar for Sunday Funday! It's got great drink specials (think 25oz Lagunitas for only $7) and the wings are my absolute favorite in town!! (Honey hot, ask for grilled for a great crispness) They play all the games and have an inviting feel. Went today and had great service from the time we walked in to the moment we left; it was my hotspot last year for football and I can confirm it will be where I spend my Sundays this season!! We have come during the day a couple times while waiting for our tires and have had the food, it is pretty good also! Beers are always cold and there is always someone friendly to talk to. I'm so glad our GrubHub order was handled perfectly... Kimmyz was phenomenal. We ordered a Strip, A few Salads, and the Coconut Shrimp. The food arrived within minutes and the driver said they were really good. Our food arrived hot and fresh. The Strip was surprisingly good, not outstanding, but flavorful and there were plentiful portions of broccoli and potatoes on the side. The salads were pretty tasty also, and I really enjoyed the homemade ranch. Finally, the coconut shrimp had a nice bite and was a step above the typical pub grub. This was the first time my buddy and I visited this place. It is very easy to see, that this bar is a neighborhood hang out. We had boneless honey medium wings as an appetizer. The wings were dry, and there was nothing honey about them. When I had the opportunity to talk to the cook, he brought me a small cup of honey. We ended up leaving, never to return to this place again. I do not recommend this place for eating. If you are just going to drink, then probably okay. read more

We frequent the Greenway location however my wonderful husband was at Mayo with a virus. My bday night Meatloaf special was something I thought would make him feel better. Great place to grab some bar food. This was our first time here and we will be back. Not many people there, but the bartender was right there the moment we sat down. Our drinks came extremely quickly as well which is ideal for anyone stepping out of work for a quick bite. We grabbed lunch and the food seemed extremely fresh. I say that because we all know most bar food can be frozen. My wife had the mac and cheese balls and a loaded baked potato. She enjoyed both. I got the daily special which was a Philly cheesesteak (left the onions and pepper off) and though when it came out it had American sliced cheese on it (I have been to Philly several times and know what a real cheesesteak is) I was hesitant that it just wouldn't come together. This place has a pretty high turnover for staff - so its hard to rate. Julia was our most favorite waitress, but alas she went where the others went - apparently where the money is. Since she left we just didn't get the warm and fuzzies from any of the other girls who worked there - but on occasion Kimmy would be there and she was always kind and very helpful! I went with boys late at night and they let us hang even as they were closing without giving us the evil eye to get out, just cleaned up, let us catch up with each other and then let us out. Went with pregnant wife and MIL and enjoyed cold beers and a friendly wait staff. And, recently went with another buddy .. I wasn't drinking but they don't mind at all, and give me a soda on the house. We ordered wings. We got half hot and half super hot (or whatever they call it). It wasn't spicy, but they were sauces perfectly and the wings were crisp (Btw, I'm team "flats"). Great service and good selection of beer and other alcoholic beverages. Definitely an older crowd / bikers / interesting people. I am 31 and I went with some friends on a Saturday night around 8 pm and was definitely the youngest person in there, which is fine, just saying, it's no Mill Ave. They had dueling pianos going on, super loud, the crowd loved it. Looking for a burger and beer and went to a neighboring sports bar NPX where I was ignored by the bartender at the not so busy hour of 4:30. I was lucky to get her attention long enough to order one beer. Her priority was chatting up the regulars. I tried repeatedly to get her attention, yet she acted like I was invisible. Laid down 5 bucks and left. So I decided to go to Kimmyz, where I have been a handful of times. Sat down at the bar, immediately greeted by Tatum; she asked my for my name. My beer came up within seconds, got my menu and my California Chicken sandwich came out promptly. Tatum was very friendly and professional and the sandwich was really tasty. I never was never given the chance to see what NPX had to offer, but I was glad that Kimmyz was a quick walk away and I was happy to give them my money. read more
