Kim's Tea House has been one of my favorite boba places for over a decade. I have been going to them since they still had their much smaller shop across the street from their current location. I don't stop by so often anymore because I rarely go to the Westchase area now, but whenever I do, I have to stop by and get smoothies from them. Their current store is spacious, and the workers are friendly. They have a large selection of smoothies, teas, coffees, and slurpies as well as a wide variety of drink toppings and snacks. You can select a drink option that's already on their menu, but they also allow customization of flavors (mix and match), ice levels, sugar level, or other substitutions as you choose. Not all of them are pictured, but here are some of my favorite drinks from them: strawberry smoothie with strawberry jelly, taro smoothie with coffee jelly, mango coconut smoothie, frozen vanilla cappuccino, and frozen mocha.

I'm the type who doesn't like tea, so I always get smoothies when going with my friends to Boba places. That being said, I think this place has some of the best smoothies I've tried yet. Fruity and creamy without being overbearing. My favorite part is you can mix flavors even if the combination isn't on the menu. I love mango and coconut, and they have no problem mixing their individually listed mango smoothie and coconut smoothie together for me. All for a lot cheaper than a lot of other Boba places I've been to.

Came here on a Saturday right when they opened. They only had the mini boba available. The drinks were good. It wasn't crowded and we were able to order right away, however, the girl at the counter was kinda rude. Not really inclined to return. Played good music in there though.

I'm obsessed with taro milk tea so I found Kim's Tea House by searching for milk tea spots on google map. It tasted exactly the way I wanted, perfect amount of sweetness to it. This location is also spacious inside if you want to sit down and enjoy your food or drink.

This place never disappoints! The drinks are always perfect! The service was excellent and the prices are always fair! Love this place! Highly recommend!!

The green thai tea here is alright, a bit too milky for my taste and not enough tea flavor. As for the popcorn chicken it was delicious and I love the amount of basil they put in. I do wish the basil was a bit crunchier.

This is my go-to place for boba tea when in Houston. It's a reliable place that makes consistently good drinks. They have lots of options, it can even be overwhelming at times. They also have quite a few foods in case you want a snack. The staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and a cool (literally!) especially when you're escaping the hot humid Houston heat.

Not my usual boba place. Stopped by here because it was on the way. The interior is very spacious and dim lighting. The service was quick and the cashier was very helpful with helping me pick my order. I got the brown sugar whole milk. I was warned that it's quite sweet and she recommended the brown sugar milk tea instead. I'll keep that in mind next time. The drink overall was very flavorful and sweet. I really liked it!

Smoothie they have non dairy options which is good, the food is good but you can order food but they are charging 50 cents for sauce .....you order food and have to eat it dry with zero sauce I guess . Seems odd and cheap of them. I got an Avacado smooth it was ok, I said I want lite tapioca and I told them like barely any . You can see the pics doesn't look like lite or barely any but it's ok. The service was nice , other than charging and being cheap for sauce that kinda made me annoyed lol I don't wanna swipe my credit card for 50 cents . So the food wasn't that good without the sauce. This place deserves 4 stars but like the sauce ticked me off , I get it if you didn't order any food items asking for sauce but if you ordered the fried calamari like I did it should come with sauce ....

This place holds the number one spot in my heart for two things: the fresh watermelon juice and popcorn chicken! I'm not a fan of toppings in my drinks and their watermelon juice is the perfect level of sweetness on its own and is awesome for cooling off during the summer. The popcorn chicken comes in different spice levels that can be inconsistent at times, but the flavor is always there--crispy, juicy, and with lots of basil. I've never stayed long enough inside to chat but there's also a ton of seating and big tables suitable for big groups!

It's Kim Possible to get a good tea here, you just have to know what to order. Otherwise other drinks are Odder. Don't order odder drinks. Not til you're older. I love Kim's Tea House. I have been to the now-closed-down Katy location a few times - but also to the one inside the Hong Kong City Mall. This location is going strong on Westheimer. I like it and they are friendly and the products are good. Not my favourite Bubble Tea in town but definitely worth a try. Looking forward to coming back here and sampling a few more things. One of the original Bubble Tea Shops of Houston and they still make good products similar to Teahouse after all these years. They're Vietnamese so try the coffee and such, don't expect Taiwan style tea here, for that there are plenty of chains around. There are much better Boba shops out there, I know, but with lots of varying standards of Viet shops around Houston, if you want the original and one which is still going strong and doing well after all these years, this is one of those brands.

New hours in pictures. One of the tastiest bubble tea options outside Chinatown. The avocado mango smoothie and the black sugar smoothie at 25% sweetness/50% ice are my go-tos.

This place price wise is awesome. Boba & finger food is definitely priced well & super good. I ordered popcorn chicken (medium spice) and they came out fresh/hot. Spice level was super good, definitely had a kick to it. Boba was good but I also got zero sugar added which was nice they had that option. We also got sweet potato fries & they were seasoned so well! Food comes in bags & they have toothpicks to each which I preferred. Great place. Plenty of seating and parking. Quiet too, and we saw several people studying.

I judge tea houses by their coconut bubble tea. I was not impressed. It was tasteless and yellow.

This place was only 0.4 miles away and has great reviews so we headed over. Oh my gosh, I'm glad we chose this spot. That was the best sandwich I've had in a long time! I ordered the first thing on the menu because it looked good, and I'm glad I did. They call it a "Chicken Run." It's made with ciabatta, grilled chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, and "garlic sauce" (which, to me, was a garlic aioli). I enjoyed it more than I would have enjoyed getting a hamburger somewhere else. The ciabatta was perfect! Far better than any hamburger bun. The pepperjack cheese was spicier and meltier than most and seemed to be high quality. And the flavors all melded together perfectly. A very nice lady made our sandwiches, wrapped them and bagged them. She was friendly and helpful. The place was cute. And they had board games to play with :-) My wife had the Empire Club and said she enjoyed it. They also had a reuben that looked really tempting and a chicken pesto sandwich on a baguette that caught my eye. But I'm still glad I got the Chicken Run!

However, it's well worth the stop by. The food is simply wonderful. I had butternut squash soup, which was marvelous really marvelous as if it were homemade. I also had a Desi pizza which was quite good. Shock full of ingredients all of which were well seasoned and the sauce that was absolutely wonderful. It's really a much larger place than it appears when you first approach it there's plenty of room for seating and it's very well capped. The ambience is very simple but tasteful. It's a must visit if you're in the area of parked 10 on the west side of town. Let me just say this at last there were two people who were there during the lunch hour, and they were inordinately, efficient and friendly. It's a wonderful experience.

You are immediately transported into New York for sure! Along with New York, we got the schmucks attitude from the 2 men playing hosts. It was a non-busy Sunday night and these two wanted to sit my underage son and I at the bar. Really?! They were obnoxious and rude and put us on a wait list when there clearly were tables. However, my waiter and even the kitchen staff made up for that hiccup with their wonderful attitudes and service! As always, love the broadway decor and music- plus the tables and chairs set the nostalgia. My partner wanted to grab lunch here so we tried for the first time this place. We got a simple sandwich and elote which the staff said it should take 15-20 mins. We waited and waited it past 40+ mins and I went to ask. - First was that they lost our order number and they couldn't find it. - Second the manager began to say our order was taken by someone else and then that my partner grabbed it. Switching her words back and forth and not believing what we had said. I asked how did we grab our stuff if I still have the device to notify when our food is ready. - Third she completely stopped talking to us and went to go help at other customers. I told her we want our money back and she said, "well I'm not going to refund for the drinks you had". Ma'am, that's not how you run a business. Just admit you messed up and take ownership of your mistakes to help a customer out. - Fourth she mentioned that other tickets have been lost today and other foods have been stolen before. This just shows how disorganized this placed is. We were able to ask for our money back but it was a battle about it. I was disappointed because we wanted to support your business but at this service? Heck no! Do not come here. And from reading other reviews now we did not miss on the food.
