    Party Boat

Solid sushi place. Came here with two others and got a Party Boat and we were all satisfied. Came with salad and miso soup for two which was odd and so one of us didn't get it. The boat itself was well done as you can see from the picture. Ambiance was not much -- pretty much what you'd expect from a suburban strip mall. Service was attentive. Definitely worth the trip. Price was $85 with tip which was reasonable as it fed all three of us just fine.

Went with a couple of friends to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, and had a great time. Our server Skye made the evening better with her smile, and patience. Drinks ordered were Chardonnay, Lakefront IPA, and a Diet Coke. Food ordered were, Ninja Roll Silent Scream Roll, Wauwatosa Roll, Electric Shock Roll, White Swan Roll, Caterpillar Roll, White Torch Roll and Eternal Love Roll. Everything was as delicious as it looks. One great thing about this place is even with the music playing you are able to have a great conversation with the people at your table without shouting. This is my 2nd time at this GINZA, and as long as the food and service is great, I'll return!!

I'm always on the hunt to try a new sushi spot and I'm glad I happened upon Ginza! The sad part was that they were not busy at all. Pre-Covid I feel like this place would have been busier. And this area doesn't have a lot of sushi spots. Anyway, they seemed to follow all COVID protocols. The service was very friendly and prompt but not invasive. Prices were up there, but to be expected given COVID and, well let's face it, the fishing industry. Alas that did not stop me from indulging! I ordered the Fox Point roll and the miracle roll; both absolutely delicious. I ordered eel and salmon belly nigiri; both also very delicious. There were many other rolls I wanted to try but due to prices had to pick and choose. I'll definitely be back to try more!

This is a cute little place that has the appropriate ambiance. The service was outstanding and attentive. The food is good, not outstanding but good

We've been dining at/ordering takeout from Ginza since they opened, and it's been consistently excellent. Food is always super fresh and flavorful. The Yuzu Salmon and Shrimp Shumai appetizers are a must, and the ramen is fabulous. We also love the chicken teriyaki, which is a very generous portion. Of course, the sushi is excellent as well. I've never had a bad meal here. So glad they're in the neighborhood!

There was only one server in the entire restaurant handling seven different tables. Despite this, our food came out at a decent time. Our server was friendly. She checked on us multiple times and refilled our drinks twice. I really loved the rolls because of their rice to filling ratio. A huge pet peeve of mine is when there is too much rice on the outside and not a lot of meat or fillings on the inside. This place did not do that. We got the California and spicy salmon rolls. Both were generously filled. I also got the soft shelled crab as an app. Nice and crispy. For dessert, we got the fried ice cream and tempura banana. Both were delicious. If I am in the area, probably for shopping at the mall across the street, then I will definitely stop by this restaurant again!

I normally talk with the owner (congrats on the baby- I'm the flight attendant) and love their service. It's changed in the owner's leave and today Tina seemed frazzled and all over the place. She punched in my wrong order... it took longer than normal.... I thought it was weird when she went back to talk about my order and she repeated negamaki. I was charged a dollar more than the menu. Something was crossed out on the receipt. She asked if regular. I repeated lunch. MY RECEIPT says teriyaki. When I left she said "Negamaki, right" I agree.. thank her and hopped in an Uber. I get home and it isn't negamaki. No apology. She remembered me. She cut me off before I could even say that I ordered the negamaki. Then she told me that I said Negamaki.... then she said She told them negamaki and kept changing the story. She was rude, abrupt an apologetic. She said she put a credit on n the books. When I told her that I won't be back for weeks, she started call first. I asked for her name and I asked when the owner would be back and she said "Fri, Mon, and Wednesday." So I try the teriyaki and it was tough. This is not indicative of ehen the owner is there. My worst experience.

Though, on a very hot day with hot ramen (though they also do sushi) the front should be shut. As for the Ramen. Some stuff worked and some didn't. However, both mine and my husbands broth (I had the black garlic he had the pork) were not so great. Almost a metallic taste to them. Also, almost no vegetables in the Ramen. I was pretty disappointed. Mine only had green onions in it. The tempura was also kinda soggy. Some piece were crispy but on the broccoli and sweet potato, they were soggy. The server was great. To start off, I ordered plum wine, which of course was delicious. For our appetizer we ordered the pan fried gyoza. It was so light and airy absolutely delicious. Now for the main course, I went with the pineapple fried rice with chicken. I have to say this is the best pineapple fried rice I have had from any Thai restaurant. The curry powder is strong here, which is my favorite. It came with a side of Thai chili sauce which was definitely a unique surprise, but I absolutely loved it. It complimented the dish very well. My boyfriend went with the pad Thai. It was also absolutely delicious. He ate the whole thing. Now I will say I didn't finish my dish and took the rest home however it seems the waiter took offense and asked me if there was something wrong with the fried rice! I was definitely shocked and I said no it was absolutely delicious, but I just can't finish it. It was definitely a awkward moment to be asked that especially in front of other people in the restaurant. I certainly was not complaining about anything. I was thoroughly enjoying my meal. So yes, I was a little disappointed by that interaction and hoping if other people don't finish their meals that they're going to be questioned. If I didn't like my meal, I wouldn't be asking for her to go box that's for sure. I'm not knocking any stars for that of course.... I had a great time. We enjoyed our food and drinks. The meal started on shaky ground with the tuna tataki. Dry and somewhat fishy, I had no desire to have more than one piece. The ponzu sauce also did not have the flavorful, citrusy tartness that could have saved this dish. Thankfully, things did get better. The Spanish grasshopper roll was flavorful, much more fresh tasting, and had a nice level of heat. The dragon roll and the crazy roll were also decent but not amazing. Thankfully, the tataki set the bar pretty low for everything else. Service was also decent in that our server was friendly but somewhat forgetful and main courses didn't quite arrive together leaving some to stare at their food while others waited for theirs. This was not a major issue, though, and only helps to explain why this was just an average experience. One final note was how unusually dark the restaurant was with very dark paint-chipped walls. Additionally, the walk to the restrooms took me past a small graveyard of broken and unused chairs. The spiral bound menus were all in various levels of disrepair. The only reason I mention these things is because there's a certain level of attention to small details that can make or break my level of comfort in eating sushi at any particular restaurant. Pricing was shockingly inexpensive for the amount of food. Unsurprisingly, a service charge was added since our group was large - but I was shocked that it was only 15% - which I have never seen. We all made sure to add to the gratuity reflective of our appreciation for the hard work of our server. Overall, not fantastic - but definitely not the worst sushi place I have been. Not sure I have a strong desire to give this one another try, though.
