We sat in the main restaurant part and our waitress came over right away. She was very helpful In picking items off the menu: their menu is huge !!! I ordered two different sushi and they were delicious. Our margaritas and martinis were delicious as well. The only issue is that it smells like marijuana everywhere in here.

Excellent, fresh, and delicious sushi! Perfect portions as well.

One of my favorite sushi spots I have ever been to! (And I've been to A LOT) Their sushi is consistently wonderful, flavorful, and fresh. I have never had a bad meal! Presentation is always perfect. My favorite is the firefly roll! Always have great service. My go to spot in the area!

It was Sunday. I tried to go to two different restaurants before landing here (one was closed, the other was curbside only). I was hangry. And, honestly, since it was my third choice for the evening, my expectations were low. I was beyond pleasantly surprised. Ninja has some of the best sushi in the Milwaukee area. Their fish is so fresh you'll wonder how it's even possible with our proximity to the ocean. Like straight-out-the-water-fresh. One side of the restaurant is hibachi. Since we were looking for sushi, we sat on the opposite side. The atmosphere is clean and casual. It's not the sort of place you frequent for the ambiance. But, for the sushi, sashimi, and nigiri? Yes, yes, and yes. Since this was our first time here, we ordered their love boat for two, figuring it would give us a nice sampling, which it did. It comes with a salad, which was basically iceberg lettuce dressed with a lovely ginger dressing (simple but tasty). It also comes with a bowl of miso soup (just ok). As for the love boat itself, our least favorite thing on the board was the spicy tuna roll (definitely not like it was bad or anything) and our favorite was literally everything else on the board. They have a full bar and specialty cocktail menu, though we didn't partake this time. The service was incredibly prompt and friendly. The prices were about what you expect to pay at similar spots in the area (which is to say high, but not unreasonably so). Get to it!

    ants on the table

ANTS ON THE TABLES.food was good and the server was very nice! the hostesses were kind of quiet and short with us but who cares. however, the reason this is a two star is because there were multiple ants on our table. I did take pictures but i was so grossed out. made me not want to eat any thing. I swiped them off the table and didn't tell anyone because i hate complaining but definitely not coming back here.

If you're looking for this while driving, as I was, the large signage on the building says HIBACHI SUSHI! 5-Stars, all the way for my sushi and sashimi lunch with great service. I had a few pieces of sashimi, along with the Kyoto Maki rolls which were excellent. Service was pleasant and on it. Would stop here again when I'm in the area.

The 3.5 star theory is proven true…read more Let me explain. When you're dealing with Asian restaurants-- be it buffet or otherwise, you ALWAYS go for the 3.5 star rated ones. Why? It's because you know the food's going to be good. You don't go there for service. You don't go there for a wine and dine 5-star experience. You go there for all you can eat food. That's the primary goal. If I rated this based on the 3.5 star theory scale, it would be a 5 star. And guess what I'm gonna do next time I go? I'm going to post a 3 star review so mine averages to 3.5 stars. I literally went to this place purely because it was 3.4 star rated when I checked. This was my first experience. Why is 4-star too high? Because it usually means it's fancier, has higher prices, better service... REMEMBER -- if a buffet is 4 or 5 star rated... it's going to have 4 or 5 star pricing!! That's why you go for the 3.5 star. Not 3, that's too low. Chances of food poisoning start getting out of the comfort zone. When I went here, the staff didn't really bother being nice or smiling. They weren't rude, just not really accommodating. You know what I thought about that? One word. "Perfect." Because I knew it meant the food was about to be good as hell, especially for all you can eat. They only had styrofoam cups and plates, as well as plastic silverware. Yet again, I thought "perfect." Because unlike some other reviews, I remind myself I'm literally in a strip mall Asian buffet in Wisconsin. I'm not at a Michelin star restaurant. I am here to stuff myself all you can eat. And you know what? The food was delicious. Even better, this restaurant does not put butter in their rice or noodles. Typically, Asian buffets will put a LOT of butter in the fried rice and/or noodles because it makes you fuller even faster. This restaurant does not do that. They don't cheat their way to having you eat less. The food is what you come here for. Not amazing service. Not presentation. Not to be wined and dined. You come here to stuff yourself. This is why the 3.5 star theory is the way to go ladies and gentlemen. And, of course, with 3.5 star rating, I got 3-star pricing. $30 for my wife and I to eat here. No food poisoning. No out of budget dinner date. If you don't believe the 3.5 star theory, I challenge you to try it. Compare the 3-stars with the 4-stars next time you go out. I promise you the 4-stars are on the pricier end. Sure it's "nicer" in theory but the 3-stars carry too much risk. With 3.5 you get the pricing of a 3 without the risk. Sure the service isn't the 4-star level but again, you're not going here for service! You're going here to have all you can eat and pig out!

Nearly nothing on the buffet looked good. The restaurant was dirty too. The chairs and tables were sticky. Recently, my family and I were craving a little sushi & wine night in, so we ordered a handful of things from here for pick-up. It was easy to do so online and it was ready within the hour. I'm a huge spring roll gal, so we had to get some of those. These things are massive and packed with the likes of kalbi marinated beef, kani kama, rice noodles, cucumber, and cilantro. On the side is their sambal peanut sauce which I could literally drink, I love that stuff. As for the sushi order, we got an array of rolls to share. From the yellowtail maki and spicy tuna, to the california and the signature, we enjoyed them all. I regret not getting the crab wontons this time around, because YUM, but there's always next time!

Our order was all correct, we ordered 6 rolls and spring rolls for 4 people and it was just about right! Eye of the Tiger, Buddha Roll and the Screaming Tuna Signature roll are some favs.

There was only one server in the entire restaurant handling seven different tables. Despite this, our food came out at a decent time. Our server was friendly. She checked on us multiple times and refilled our drinks twice. I really loved the rolls because of their rice to filling ratio. A huge pet peeve of mine is when there is too much rice on the outside and not a lot of meat or fillings on the inside. This place did not do that. We got the California and spicy salmon rolls. Both were generously filled. I also got the soft shelled crab as an app. Nice and crispy. For dessert, we got the fried ice cream and tempura banana. Both were delicious. If I am in the area, probably for shopping at the mall across the street, then I will definitely stop by this restaurant again!
