This place is one of my parents favorite place, they said that after coming here many times with various family members, they enjoyed the food here because they believe it's more in the authentic side of Thai food! I enjoyed the chicken wings and salad very much! The chicken wings where very hot, it was steaming and also had a sauce that went with it that I definitely recommend drizzling onto the chicken wings. The eggplant was really good not too salty or overpowering! The last 2 noodle dishes (sorry I definitely forgot what they where called) where good but since we got them medium on the spicy scale, my mom kept sweating cuz it was too hot for her. One of the top Thai restaurants in Seattle from the ones I've tried. They have a good variety and different options than most typical Thai restaurants, in a good way. The restaurant ambiance and decor is very nice, modern and comfortable. The food was very good, we got Tom Yum soup, Kapow Kao Kruk (Fried Rice w/ Chicken), Yellow Curry with Swai Fried Fish, and Kao Mun Gai. If your into appetizers their Tod Mun (fishcakes) is always tasty . . . firm on the outside, succulent on the inside, and serve with sweet chili sauce and cucumbers. Get there early because this dish is in high demand. For special treat try the Miang Kum, fresh betel leaves you fold into a little cup and then stuff with toasted coconut, chilis, peanuts, tiny lime cubes, chopped ginger and chopped red onions. Top your stuffing with with a thick sauce of sweet tamarind and finely chopped dried shrimp. Fold the top of the leaf over as you pop the whole package into your mouth. When you but through the leaf the flavors explode in your mouth it's delightful, refreshing and not too filling. Specializing in Thai street food, Kin Dee offers a solid menu of dishes that are excellently prepared and tastefully presented. The Pad Thai (which is mandatory for every Thai restaurant) was very nicely presented (even for takeaway) and very flavorful--with a lot of different protein options. We also had the Money Bags appetizer, which was crunchy and flavorful--but the only thing that was a bit on the small side--given that it's just an appetizer that's fine. We had a couple of Thai tea limeade drinks (Cha Ma Now) that were fun, but maybe a bit too sweet for my taste. With the delicious flavors, and good portion size, this is a winner. We'll be ordering from Kin Dee again to sample more of the wide selection on their menu. This is a winner! read more

Popped in for lunch while waiting for an oil change in the same plaza and I'm so glad I did! I tried the pad thai with chicken at level 3 spicy. Their level 3 was a good spice level (would be spicy if you don't like spice) and the pad thai was an enormous portion. It was beautiful with a fancy egg lattice and a solid amount of bean sprouts and peanuts on the side. It was a good portion to price ratio (~$20 after tax & tip) where I was able to have the other half of it for another meal. Service was very attentive. We usually head to Isarn Thai or 90 degree Thai but we are so glad we have a new favorite spot closer to home. The fried chicken is THE BEST there! My fiancé and I order two orders of it because we don't want to share (haha!). The fried portion almost taste like tempura and the chicken falls off the bone. I am disappointed. Didn't enjoy a single dish we got. There was a miscommunication on an item we ordered and they didn't offer to replace it. The white rice was dry and the brown rice was over cooked. We asked for 2 star spiciness and it came to us as zero stars. I came here on a Saturday to eat lunch with my parents and we all loved the food. I would definitely put Kindee as a top spot to come back to if I ever want Thai food in Bothell again. Food We decided to go all out a little and try a variety of dishes (we were only 3 people!!) since this was our first time here. The food came out pretty quickly for the amount of food we ordered. For appetizers we got the money bags and calamari. I would highly recommend the money bags! They were super crispy, bite sized, and shaped like a money bag . We definitely had to try the pad thai since pictures of it is what attracted me to this restaurant in the first place. They give a hefty amount and the presentation of the egg on top is so cool! Just beware that they also put egg within the noodles too (unfortunately my mom has a mild egg allergy and was not able to eat the pad thai). The kapok kao kruk was delicious as well and has a little spicy kick to it. The kao moo grob was very, very crispy and to be honest a little too crispy and a tad dry. Personally would have liked it to be a little more tender on the inside. The egg yolk tasted a little dry also. But the sauce was very good and to my liking. Atmosphere The restaurant was clean and quiet for a Saturday around 1pm. They have large windows around the entire restaurant which was nice because we were getting some of that spring sun. Contrary to what "street eats" food presentation might evoke, Kindee presents the food very nicely and tastes amazing. Pricing Slightly on the more pricey side for a Thai restaurant (pad thai is $15.95). I think that the quality, presentation, menu items, and experience of the food makes up for the slightly higher price. Service My parents and I (party of 3) were seated immediately on a Saturday afternoon and the staff were very good to us. They were able to accommodate my mother's request for a cup of hot water. Other Got 2 star spiciness and it was not too spicy. I would get 2 stars again next time I come back since I do enjoy a little bit of heat. In our continuing search for Tod Mun and Khao Soi we ate dinner at Kin Dee Bothell Thai restaurant which had been highly recommended by several friends. It was very good. The restaurant is easy to find in a street mall with easy parking. We were able to find the dishes we were seeking. We ordered Tod Mun (fried fish cake) as an appetizer. It was very good; five patties, sauce and several vegetables as garnish. We followed with Khao Soi and Pham See Ew with tofu and level four spice. The portions were large; each would have served two people, and we have take home for breakfast. Everything was well prepared and well presented. The See Ew was very tasty and the spice level four was perfect. The Khao Soi was large with three pieces of chicken. The curry was OK but a stronger taste would have been good. It was somewhat different from what we had previously had in Thailand. We had Thai iced tea and ginger tea which were very good. We were welcomed on arrival and got easy to read menus. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with a good mix of ethnicity in clientele. They have a long bar and a cocktail menu. Service was quick and everything was well prepared and nicely presented. There is good parking. We will be happy to return when we are hungry for Thai food. read more

I generally think all Pad Thai tastes the same. Some places give bigger portions, some places include rice, some places have nicer cocktails, etc that differentiate them.
