Amazing burgers! The food is fresh and the deviled eggs were delicious. Service is great and fast!

Back in town again and do had to stop by Kincaids. Their quality has not changed. They are still the best burger in town. We got two burgers, a fries, and hadn't tried their onion rings for a long time so we got one. I'm pretty sure they make their own patties and they are great. When you order you tell them what items/condiments you want on your burger and they write it on your bag and put your name on it. Ketchup is on the table and we usually add that ourselves. The fries are not super special but are good. The rings were not super battered and you could actually see the onions. They added pepper to the batter and it tasted great. Use ketchup or ranch on fries or rings to your taste. You need to ask for ranch for the fries--the rings come with one ranch. The servers are usually friendly or at least efficient. We have had their shakes before and they are good. We like this Kincaids location the best. read more

I'm glad they offer this Burger because I can come in and order without any changes or additions and I'm very pleased. They also offer The Cattleman as well. It has BBQ Sauce and Pickles among other ingredients. They both come in a smaller version. I go with the 1/2 pound size. read more

Really good cooked to order burgers at Kincaid's. It's located in a strip mall off I-20 and easy to find. I was in and out within 15 minutes with a great meal to go. I tried the half n half with fries and onion rings. Everything was delicious. Huge inside dining room if you're looking to bring a group. My bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños was $15 and change. After I left, I read the slogan on the sack, that read " GRACIOUSLY SERVING YOU SINCE 1946" Wow, they must have a faithful following to stay in business for that long. read more

I've eaten at original Kincaid's in Ft Worth for many years, and I Just left the franchised Kincaid's in Highlands, Arlington, TX. The burger that I was served was left over and not even warm enough for the cheese to melt. I won't eat here again, and I don't recommend this restaurant. read more

OK, so if we're going to work, I'm gonna a little something to eat, so I stopped by Kincaid's. I got me a junior bacon burger and found out you can get 50-50 on sides. So I got half onion rings, half fried okra, of course with a side of ranch. And then I tried the peppermint shake. That was so amazing. I mean, Kincaid's has the best onion rings hands down. And for some reason, I was craving okra so it was a perfect compromise. And the shake was the perfect cherry on top of the whole meal. The nice thing about King is it just plain good food. First time at this Kincaid's location came on a Saturday at lunch time. Had a line to the door but the line went fast. I had a 1/2 pound cheeseburger with mayonnaise. A very good tasting hamburger I was very pleased. The burger was made to order very fresh and hot. Added onion rings as a side also very good. I will be back. I spent the day with my old friend, Ken. We began with Kincaid Hamburgers. It has local roots and a very strong following. Located in a bustling strip mall, they have their share of competition when it comes to dining choices. From the outside, Kincaid is very unassuming, but for a first timer the inside surprised me! Instead of the typical table, chairs, or booths, the dining area was one big square open room filled with large picnic tables. Yes picnic tables. Immediately I felt welcomed as I saw so many people sittin at those picnic tables and chatting away. You que up along one side of the restaurant where you can see a large menu on the wall above the cashier. You place your order, pay, get your drinks, secure your spot at one of the picnic tables and wait for your name to be announced by a very loud boisterous young man. Ken and I both got their famous Cowtown burger, but I got mine with onion rings and he got fries. There is a small drink station where you help yourself to fountain drinks or tea as well as lemon wedges. We only waited about 8 minutes before Ken's name was called. In keeping with the picnic atmosphere, our meals were served in white lunch paper bags! My burger was nicely cooked. Even though it was well done, it was still juicy. The patty was topped with melted cheese and then topped with grilled onions and jalapenos. Yom Yom Yom. I suspect Ken enjoyed his cowtown burger as well because he finished his burger before I did. My onion rings were outstanding. The sliced onions were large and substantial making their fried rings look even larger. The batter they used was quite tasty and looked like it had black pepper sprinkled throughout. It wasn't your typical onion ring batter. The walls are adorned with old memorabilia along with many "articles" boasting about their history and food. Their accolades are well deserved. with their choices of shakes & malts, root beer float, Blue Bell ice cream, and hot dogs, Kincaids is a pleasant place to sit down and have a good meal with a pleasant atmosphere. read more

Today I ordered a burger, fries, and a malt, fries were all very short and dry, frozen type crinkle fry's, malt was not real ice cream. I noticed the griller had several precooked burger meats, I asked for a fresh cooked burger, order taker said sure, well the burger was one of the precooked meats, dry and tough, I took 2 bites and just removed the meat, had a veggie burger. Though not my favorite burger in town they've been highly consistent, they haven't price gouged like most everyone else has. and their Burgers are simple made fresh and flat out good! nothing crazy, no wild exotic meats, or overly gourmet craft burgers that look better than they taste. no this is just a Good Ol' fashioned reliable burger! We ordered bacon cheeseburgers, fries and onion rings. I really wanted to love it, but it was just okay. The meat had zero seasoning, it was very disappointing. Fries were normal fries. Onion rings were okay, but they weren't finished because they had a strange flavor (think there was sugar in seasoning ‍). Really wouldn't recommend due to the price. This has been my go to burger place lately! It's close to my house and it's always consistently good .. The burgers are cooked well done but you can custom order if you want! I had the cowtown burger this time and it was fantastic! The patty is always very juicy and delicious and the crinkle fries are perfect .. they do have shakes, onion rings , deviled eggs , jalapeño stuffed with pimento cheese ! This is a an update. Burger wasn't as good as I remember. Seasons lacking. Mustard slathered everywhere. Way too much. My fingernails are yellow. $9.53 for just the bacon cheeseburger. If I were to base the entire experience from this one review, I wouldn't be back. I may give it one more shot, but no time soon :( read more

The cowtown burger is soooo good! I added lettuce. Wow, this is an amazing burger joint. Juicy patty, no soggy bun, and grilled onions yes please! The onion rings were crispy and flavorful. The fries needed salt and pepper provided at the front. They have plenty of seating and people are following social distancing. Some of the seats are community style but everyone spread out. Kincades, was once named, "Best hamburger in the USA". Somewhere along the way the owners lost focus, lost the quality, and became just like all the other fast food burger joints. Last time I ate at Kincades I got a cheeseburger that the cook was too lazy to strain the lettuce. Yes, I received a soggy wet burger that fell apart. I was hoping that it was a fluke, a one time thing, or an angry employee. I went back today at lunch time. The young lady at the counter taking orders was friendly, courteous, and helpful (1 Star). I noticed two rows of already cooked burgers sitting on the grill, pushed to the side, waiting waiting to be ordered. So much for any chance of receiving a fresh cooked and juicy patty. I remember a time at Kincades when a patty was not placed on the grill until it was ordered. Who knows how long those patties sat continuously cooking waiting to be reheated. Although I was served quickly, I received a dryed out and very over cooked patty. The cheese was barely mealted. Luckily, Kincades offers Chilpolte Tabasco (1 Star), something I can use to add some flavor to the shoe leather I was served. The frys that I was served was just plain embarrassing for any fry cooked with any self respect. The frys were cold, a combination of shriveled undercooked and overcooked crispys pieces. No fry was over 2 inches long. That tells me Kincades is buying the cheapest fry they possibly can and no room for quality any more. Dried out flavorless hamburger meat and cold greasy fries is what Kincades has become. I find it sad, the owners no longer care about serving quality best in the USA hamburgers. read more

I would give a zero if I could. First time trying Kincaid's. I was in the area and hungry. Ordered the cow town burger. Came in small and it was not the cow town. So I took the burger up to the counter. I witnessed them take the burger to the prep counter and begin to add toppings. Problem is you should not take food back from a customer and take it to the prep area to redo it. It was surrounded by the other food. Same gloves were used etc. I asked for a refund. Not sure what they did with the burger after that. Last I saw it was in a bag on the serving counter. I wouldn't advise anyone to eat here. The manager wasn't concerned about the food contamination. He did not address the issue at all with the team. He did refund the burger. From what I witnessed there are some poor food handling practices happening here. I'd go with 3.5 for this place. It's a bit random, when you walk in, it's a quite large location with picnic tables joined together but it very empty and stark. There's a couple of tv screens but muted, there is no background noise - which it needs just to add a little atmosphere. We both had the Cowtown Deluxe, one regular (1/2lb) and one Jr (1/4lb), the regular burger is quite expensive just for a burger itself no combo, at $9.something. The burger is loaded with mayo, bacon, pimento cheese (why I chose the burger! I love pimento), grilled japs and onions. The burger itself was good, I enjoyed the patty but with all the grilled bits and bacon - it was a bit too much, too much crunchy and dark - it needed something to refreshen it up, make it a bit lighter and refreshing if you know what I mean. We did order one of the burgers as a combo and subbed out the crinkle cut fries for their fried okra - which was pretty good and enjoyable, served with ranch. We also tried their deviled eggs and stuffed jalapeños. The eggs were good, nothing to rave about and the stuffed jalapeños were halved cold japs stuffed with pimento- again they were alright but nothing to rave about. Soda is self serve, Coke Products, they did have Powerade and I believe Minute Maid Lemonade as well.
