It was burger night and we found a well recommended restaurant that we drive by when traveling in the area but never noticed it. Maybe Kroger is so dominant that it over shadows the other business. The order counter is at the front with drinks in a refrigerator and home made tea adjacent. We sat ourselves at a table and started a conversation with a couple that frequently dines here. The man stated the French fries are the best in the area. They are double fried with Lawry's seasoning. They were eating their favorite, a Philly cheesesteak and. Chicken sandwich. We ordered mushroom Swiss burger and Big Tex. French fries and sweet potato fries. When I tasted the fries, I confirmed the man's acclimation that the fries are the best around. Get the Greek Burger!! First time trying this place out and it's a family run business. They have many options to choose from but I had to try the Greek Burger. My friend told me about it so I made the trip to try it out. I was definitely surprised from the flavors coming from this burger. It has beef patty topped with seasoned gyro lamb . The salad was impressively delicious. I would however suggest putting the meat on the side for to go salad because my lettuce was a little cooked when I got home. Otherwise it was very good. My recommendation? Skip the fast food and come here instead. They even have a drive through, though I dined in. Food The food was great! Literally the only thing we had that I wouldn't recommend is the funnel cake and I can't wait to keep coming back. I want to try literally everything on the menu and I am so excited about the prospect. Everything was made fresh and you could tell. The fried mushrooms were little boiling hazards for a while, straight out of the fryer. Scores (Keep in mind I'm not a professional critic. Just an average scorer so I may be more lenient than a lot of people.) Mushroom Swiss Burger 9/10 Could use a sturdier bun, otherwise perfect. Even my onion hating sister enjoyed a bite. Gyro 9/10 Sister said she's only had one better than it before so I'm giving it a 9. Chicken wrap 10/10. Sister loved it and absolutely wants to get it again. "ASAP". No notes. And that was with it being to go and eaten later. Mozzarella sticks 8/10. Good family restaurant fried cheese sticks. Wish it came with marinara as an option though. Fried mushrooms 7/10 Could use more flavor for my tastes but still good. If you like plain fried mushrooms this will be exactly what you want. If you prefer them seasoned or marinated and with seasoned batter, I'd skip these. Ranch 8/10 Solid ranch. Fries 8/10 Good for the type of fry they are and have a great seasoning. Some of them could use a bit more seasoning but even the fries without it were still good. Tiramisu 8/10 for me 7.5 from my sister. Solid but have had better. 1 point bump to the score because I got it to go. Funnel cake 5/10. The bites that didn't have too much oil were good, and it looked very pretty. Unfortunately the parts that had too much oil were most of it and you couldn't taste anything else. I'd save the money and get something else instead. Now for the other things to consider for visiting. Other Aspects Overall the prices and service were great and the food was awesome. The owner is very nice. There's a tip jar there but unfortunately I don't carry cash otherwise I would have left a tip. Wait time was not bad at all. We came just before the lunch rush and it still didn't take long for things to come out. Bathroom is a single occupancy, which is perfect for me, and very clean. It has a pull door to get back into the restaurant though and only a blow dryer, so bring your own paper to get back in the restaurant without touching the handle. Has a cool vintage cash register in there for decoration. Even though it's a small place there are a variety of seating options available for most people including ones that fit short and fat people. Accessibility It does seem like you might have issues if you're a wheelchair user. It's a relatively hole in the wall kind of place and navigation in the dining room might be a little tight. I'll keep a closer eye on that next time I go. I'll also check the bathroom for aspects of that next time too. I was just so relieved it met my medical needs (private bathroom) that I didn't think of the more common accessibility needs. I think it probably is a tight squeeze if it's accessible at all though. Likely not comfortable. Overall For me and my sister this is a place we will be going back to and probably ordering delivery from. I can't wait to try literally everything on the menu. The menu also varies enough I think it could hit my mood most days. Overall between the atmosphere, price. service, and food I would give the place a 9/10. Will definitely be back. read more

Whew. always check the sprite before driving off. Nasty I asked for water- they serve bottled water. That's good. The philly-- doesn't come with mushrooms. We added mayo to it. Unfortunately, got a large fries and while they tasted fresh, they were too thin (was hoping for crinkle cut fries) and they def put too much salt on them. Overall, I would stop here again, if in the neighborhood, by maybe next time will get fried jalapenos or something instead of fries. Is it fancy? No. Is it yummy? You bet it is! It's my first visit and I ordered the Italian Beef combo! The bread for this hefty sandwich is just perfect (warm and soft) for the loaded on Italian beef, cheese, and peppers. Both the sandwich and the fries are super flavorful and came out piping hot, just as I like my food. The burger was thick and seasoned, came with seasoned fries and a drink. My husband got a Philly Cheesesteak. That was equally delicious as well. Quick service and accurate.
