Crab legs :)
Megan P.

Revisited after years to see if anything's changed, quality is average for about $35 pp. Most food was older and just lukewarm from sitting under the heat lamps for awhile. Came on a Monday night & they had lobster claws apart of their seafood. I mainly get sashimi, baked oysters & crab legs when coming here. Service was super nice though, our waitress constantly refilled our drinks & took away empty plates quickly.

Sometimes, during a long day of day activity and you forgot to grab breakfast and lunch, and dinner is around the corner, hunger starts kicking in high gear; everything and ANYthing sounds great! After looking around for a Chinese gourmet restaurant, we just happened to be in the Ontario mall area and found that this establishment, "The Luxe Buffet" was opened and they just had their Grand Opening. On top of that, a quick google and IG search revealed the all you can eat Lobster during dinner time. We were hooked and wanted to try this place out!! While it was not too far from the freeways and Ontario Mall, it was tucked into the corner of the Main Street and so it a little tricky following the GPS to get there. Once there, a big parking lot is available for you to park anywhere! Walked in and was greeted immediately by the warm friendly staff and servers. The dinning hall was packed with people and we didn't have to wait at all when we arrived for the walk in. The time was about 4:30pm. Entrance was pretty well taken care of and clean. Reception and interior decor reminded me of crystal palaces and shining bright objects. In the main facility, there are rows of cushion table/seats setup and there are rows of regular open chair and table setups.i didn't get a good count but there has to be roughly 24 booths seating up to 4 comfortably and roughly 40-50 regular square/rectangular tables seating up to 4-6 people. With so many selections to choose from, the choices that you can make for a meal is endless. You have your typical assortment of Stir Fries, open sushi rolls, seafood area, soups from various kinds including the crabmeat soup, a delicacy only served during weddings and special occasions, a Mongolian grill area, dessert based on macaroons and every kids favorite, ice cream cart and machine. This place gave me nostalgic through memory lanes back in the early 90's. The food is great. It is a bit pricey for dinner, but worth it!! Come hungry and you will be left satisfy and fulfilled.

Alright. We were hungry pretty much our 1st meal of the day at 7pm. Okay where to start I think we got there right before the dinner rush. Food seems to be left over. Some food cold and over cooked. When we got our 1st plate boyfriend got the brisket super dry and over cooked. I got a duck and dome other things 1st round left over.. 2nd round more people starting to show/ there were people already there enjoy their meal. Then this was the rush it seems. More food and freshly cooked Brisket warm still a bit dry, duck fresh. I had muscle and i wasn't expecting it to be cold but it was and i think that how they prepare it I'm use to it being warm with the mayo and cheese topping. Not bad but prefer it hot. Everything was mid. Typical buffet i would say. Just looks fancy due to decor and name and since they serve a-lot of seafood. Nice experience i guess

Every time we visit Ontario Mall we like coming here in LUXE BUFFET. This buffet is very near Ontario Mills Mall you can even walk from the Mall to this buffet. The reason we like stopping here is for their Lobsters, which are what we mostly eat here. Their lobsters are meaty and tasty. Their Lobsters Buffet is on the weekends only . For their other food we also like their Mongolian BBQ, and most of the tray gets filled fast. It's just that the service is kinda slow in picking up the used plate from our table. Parking spaces are plenty around.

Food was OK. The service was fast and it wasn't a busy night. I went on a Monday night, but I saw that some of the sushi was old and has been sitting there for a while and some of the food that was being served looked kind of old as well if you're into buffets then maybe come here if not, then don't come

The location is right off the 10 fwy in a shopping plaza. Large self parking lot. When we arrived, there was available parking near the entrance. Once we entered, we were seated quickly. We were in Trista's section. She was amazing. There was no need to ask for my first refill. She picked up the dirty plates. She was available. A large variety of food. Almost everything I ate, I enjoyed. I will return when I'm in the area.

Sandy our waiter was amazing! She was so attentive and kind and sweet! She really made out dinner night special! She need a raise or something because she definitely went above and beyond for our family and definitely made our night super special. We loved going to the luxe in Westminster but sadly it is gone. We definitely have loved coming out to the luxe for many years and sadlndy is a reason why we keep coming back!

For those who haven't experienced it before, it's an AYCE salad bar, soups, and other prepared foods. They have two locations. One is in Chino, the other here and Rancho Cucamonga. This location is wildly popular and the line never dies down until they close. We came in the middle of an afternoon on Sunday and it was still at least a 30 minute wait. Their system is very efficient. A staff will let a limited amount of people in at a time to keep the salad bar line clear and moving smoothly. In between groups of people that are let in, the ones behind the counter will restock items that are low and wipe down the counters. That makes the place look clean all the time. Once you enter, grab a plate or two and a tray and create your own salad. They have many types of veggies with several types of dressings. Then you'll pay at the end of the line at the cashier station. They also have about 4 to 5 different types of soups, few types of muffins, baked potatoes, fresh cut, fruit, and a few other items. Soup n Fresh is a total nostalgic place for me because the last time I went to a place like this was before the pandemic of 2020, and everything tasted just like Souplantation, from the clam chowder to their ranch dressing. It was organized, safe, and still such a great experience. We have been coming back ever since. If you're wondering what keeps me coming back... First, the service is incredible. There is an older gentleman with salt and pepper hair who is always so professional and kind. He carries himself with such calm confidence and respect. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, but he truly stands out every single time. Second, the OPTIONS. The spread here is amazing. From sauces to fresh vegetables, noodles, seafood, fruit, and dessert, there is something for everyone. And can we talk about the watermelon? For some reason, it is always perfectly sweet. Every single time. I am a huge shrimp lover, so being able to make my own shrimp in the hot pot is a dream. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I like it. It is such a fun experience. Pro tip: Here is the sauce combo I put together and it is chef's kiss. In a bowl add jalapeños, cucumbers, hot chili, chili oil, sesame oil, and ponzu sauce. Then top it with fresh cilantro. It is so fresh, spicy, tangy, and delicious. You will thank me later. We went around lunchtime, so it wasn't too busy. We were seated right away. The food at the bar was fresh. And you have up to 3 rounds to order meat. The food from the bar is unlimited. They have everything from sauces, to more appetizers or small foods, a variety of vegetables, rice, noodles, seafood, and fruits. Service was great. Our server checked up on us from time to time for drink refills, to clean up our table, and to get our paper for more food orders. Such a chill ambiance here. It's a large restaurant, so even if it gets loud, you're not talking over each other during dinner. It's very spacious, so when you're up to get your food you're not bumping into people. This was my boyfriend's first time here and he really enjoyed himself. I'm glad I took him here. This is definitely a place worth checking out if you're craving hotpot.

When we first walked in, the place looked empty, and my wife and I almost considered leaving. Just as we were about to head out, a server came over, seated us, and explained the menu. The $45 menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes such as escargot (ốc), pho, and bò né (Vietnamese sizzling beef steak), among many others. We ordered escargot with tamarind sauce, oysters with cheese, a lobster special, rau muống (water spinach) with garlic, glass noodles, and a ribeye steak. This isn't a typical buffet--each dish is cooked to order. It took about 15 minutes since there were only two chefs, but the wait was absolutely worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The lobster was a whole lobster with claws, and the ribeye was a generous cut served sizzling at the table. The portions are large, and our server kindly warned us ahead of time--we're glad we listened! The owner was friendly, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. My wife and I loved this place and will definitely be coming back. It's great to have quality Vietnamese food nearby without having to travel all the way to OC.

I've been to Fogo many times, and this was the first time checking out Texas de Brazil, and I have to say, I think I like Texas De Brazil better! The meat service at the start of the dinner was admittedly slow for what looked like the entire restaurant, there was a solid 10-min where no meat was coming except for a chicken sausage. I think that is because they were cooking the meats, because soon after, a bunch of meat started coming out of the kitchen all at once. The quality of the meat was great! The salad bar I think is better than Fogo: I felt the veggies and salads tasted fresher and the area around the salad bar was cleaner. The cheese bread and plantains were amazing as well, much better than Fogo for sure. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and if I am craving Brazilian BBQ again, I'll head over here.

Unfortunately, they didn't even try. We were placed on the outdoor patio; there were 18 of us. First issue, they didn't set the tables for the correct number of people. Second issue, we had to beg and plead to have the gauchos serve us. They would come to the door, say who would like XXX, and if someone didn't immediately raise their hand, they would go back inside. Even if one of us raised our hand, they would not go around the entire table asking people if they would like to be served that meat. Third issue, my husband and I were served undercooked pork. They removed them from our plates immediately, and we never saw pork again. Fourth issue, if we requested a specific item, we would have to ask several times until someone served us our food. Fifth issue, they never brought out the accompanying items that are automatically served on the table, ie, cheese bread, mashed potatoes, bananas, etc. We would have to wait until our server came out to the patio and then request the items. They would NOT ask if anyone else at the table would care for anything. Sixth issue, they acted as if we were in drought conditions, asking for water was torture. We finally got up and brought over our own pitchers to the table. The seventh issue was that the busboys kept trying to take our plates away. Several times, one of us would have to grab our plate back. EIGHTH issue, when it was time for the cake, they brought us a steak knife to cut the cake, NO serving utensil, and saucers from coffee cups as our dessert plates. I asked for larger plates, and they brought us 11 HOT dinner plates. Just a reminder, there were 18 of us seated. You do the math; they certainly couldn't. I love Brazilian steakhouses, this one is almost the worst one I have been to, it comes in at a very close second. I would never return to this location. I felt sorry for the birthday girl.
