They clearly explained the work needed..in my case a ck engine light was flashing on my daughters 2014 Nissan Pathfinder and while suspecting the catalytic converter they suggested a tuneup first hoping that would solve the problem w/o having to replace the converter. A week, 6 spark plugs, 6 ignition coils & $2200 later the ck engine light came back on (something they told me could happen) and I had to have the cat. converter replaced anyway... which I had done @ another shop closer to home that specializes in that type work. No doubt the plugs & coils needed replacing but I just thought $2200 for a tuneup was way too expensive...the garage that ultimately replaced the converter confirmed my thinking telling me I overpaid by about $500 for the tuneup. In summary if you're in a pinch like I was and can't shop around, Two Guys Garage can certainly be trusted to do quality and timely work... just be sure to bring your checkbook cause it's gonna cost ya.

From the very beginning, I felt I was in good hands. Paulo, the manager, responded to my Yelp inquiry almost immediately. He was professional, kind, and attentive. He listened carefully to my concerns and explained everything in a clear, respectful way, something I truly appreciate. I felt a strong sense of trust that he genuinely cared about my car and my safety. When I arrived at the shop, Paulo was just as professional and kind in person. He made me feel confident in my choice to use to D&G Auto Repair. After I left my car, he followed up via text with an estimated bill before starting any work, which gave me peace of mind and control over the process. Prior to this oil change, I had no leaks. Post oil change, I notice a few huge oil spots in the driveway. I brought it to them to look at and was told it was the oil pan gasket. I asked for suggestions on where to take it. They suggested Sorels garage and gave me the address. I took it there and they put a UV dye in so they could see where the leak was coming from. I returned to Sorels for them to look at it and it's not the oil pan gasket, but the oil filter housing. Back and forth with Valvoline who keeps insisting it's the oil pan gasket even though I show Morgan (the manager) video of it leaking from above that point. File a claim with corporate. Fast forward to today after the housing was replaced and over $400 spent on said repair and they tell me the video was reviewed, my claim was denied, but they will pay half. Nope, they will pay 100% of the repair because there was NO oil leak prior to that last oil change. DONT GO HERE. First they tell me it's not the filter, then it was the filter and the oil pan gasket, then I bring it back after the repair and they acknowledge it's no longer leaking and they denied my claim but we will pay half. If they weren't in the wrong why would they offer to pay half? Because they are in the wrong and they F'd up my vehicle, now the area manager call me back. I will probably make the news because I will be back there tomorrow on the sidewalk telling all customers that pull in there NOT to get their oil changed there.

Was going great and very quick, but they tried selling me on a "AC tube up" which I turned down several times. Lo and behold 2 days later my AC goes out. Never had issues with it before. Brought my car to my regular mechanic and was told that the value was loosened, allowing the Freon to slowly leak out, hence why it didn't immediately stop working after being serviced at valvoline. I will not be returning and should've gone with my gut and stuck with my regular mechanic despite the convenience of a "drive-up" service.

In my last oil change I believe one of the guys broke my oil dipstick tube. I remember one guy…read morelooking at the other with a "oh shit" look but nothing was said. A week or 2 later, I hear a tapping sound from my engine. I spent days trying to figure it out. Come to find out it's my metal oil dipstick tube, tapping on something else metal when the engine is running. I go for my new oil change & mention it.....basically looking for an apology. The first guy without looking at it said it's rusty & happens a lot on these cars. Second guy actually looks at it & says it's metal, we couldn't have broke this. It's a 12yr old expedition that I do the maintenance myself, just not oil changes.....so I know the truck well. Be careful......they'll break something on your car, won't say anything. Before they look at it, says it's rusty. Have another guy look at it & say we couldn't have done this. Everything but an apology & a discounted oil change. Bob called John Rondeau to see if he could take a look at it. He said he was very busy and it would be a couple of days before he could get to it. Once we explained our situation he said that he would try to look at it the next day. John gave us a ride to a nearby bed and breakfast about a half a mile away. Within an hour he took a look at the car only to discover that the engine was toast! He called us with the news. AAA picked us up at the bed and breakfast then took us to our dead car.
