We were craving seafood and came here half an hour before they closed. We ordered the King Feast platter with a pound of green mussels. I really like how they have different options for sauces and spice levels because back in Maryland it's mostly all cajun. We went with mild shebang and it was perfect: savory but not too heavy. Seafood was very fresh and my favorite was the shrimp: sweet and juicy. Platter is good for 2 to 3 people I'd say. They close at 10pm but we didn't finish until 10:20ish and I really appreciate how they didn't try to rush us. For the price the quantity and quality of the food were really worth it. This is a nicely decorated restaurant that will remind you of New Orleans. This is only a mile from the resort we checked in at Orlando and we tried this place coz I was craving for crawfish. I was not disappointed, the crawfish boiled with all their sauce, (forgot the name) was so delicious. I selected just mild spicy and I was stuffed. My husband ordered the fried catfish and he only finished one. They have big servings. For dessert, we had the vignettes with ice cream, was okay. Looked real good but not like what I had in New Orleans. Still to sum it up, food was great and we will be back when we stay by Universal next visit. read more

First impression of the restaurant was pretty normal. I've been to a couple of different seafood boils, and this one, as far as upkeep and "fancy-ness" are concerned, stands pretty evenly with the others. The hostess at the front greeted us quickly and kindly and sat us immediately. The restaurant was not very busy at the time. We went at 7pm on a Sunday. It took a little while for the waiter to get to our table. He knew that he had taken a while because he acknowledged his absence (unsympathetically) and wondered if we were already ready to order. Not sure if the waiter was new or what, but he seemed quite lost and did not know the menu. Multiple times while we were ordering, he had to stop and see what the menu item was as we pointed it out to him because he either didn't know what it was or he didn't understand what we were saying. The food was fine. I guess we were just used to some of the seafood boils that we have been to, but unfortunately the flavors just didn't do it for us. They said they had to use frozen crawfish instead of live because they were out. The scallops and the clams were good. Overall, the experience was mediocre. It's not going to ruin my desire to try other seafood boils, because I know how delicious they can be. This place is a rare treat. A friend of mine recomendad this place as a quick take out order. We had a long day jet skiing and was completely hungry. They required mask and had social distancing down pat. Friendly employees and knowledgeable with there menu. So we ordered 2 pounds of crab legs, 2 pounds of shrimp both 1/2 spicy and 1/2 garlic, also the fried shrimp for my friend. We drove back to Hunter's Creek and enjoyed the delicious seafood. The portions could of feed 4 -5 people comfortable. It was just us 3 sharing all. We had left overs: I brought back home to my husband who loves spicy foods. He said to me it was one of the best Cajun style he's had in orlando. He definitely wants to return to try other items on the menu. The garlic butter was amazing!!!! I loved it and I will be returning and recommending to others. Prices was on point and reasonable. It's a small place on the stripe next to other stores but so worth the drive and the wait. I can see why it was so packed, everyone seemed to be enjoying there food. Not to mention the minute you walk in the smell takes you to New Orleans. This king Cajun is absolutely horrible. It says you get jumbo shrimp, but it's actually tiny small shrimps, the crab was soggy and wouldn't even crack lol it just bent. The manager asked how everything was and I told him I was so confused because the Mills location is always so good and this location sucks, he said because cysco cut them off and they have to go to restaurant depot to get their crab/shrimp now...not sure why he told me that ? We've been coming to this location ever since it opened. Not only is it closer to us BUT the service is always top notch. We rarely have to wait longer than 3-4 minutes to get our order taken or water. The food is consistently great. We order the same thing the big dungenous combo it's enough for 2. Everything was good and cooked well. We ordered a catfish po boy sandwich and the portion size was huge since we ordered the large, love it! I The crawfish were good as it went well with cold bucket of beer. Calamari was cooked to perfection, moist & tender while crispy. Beignets & ice cream for dessert was a great finish! Heard about this place for a while and never made it out and finally tried it. Located in the plaza off Turkey Lake Road you can find this restaurant on the Far East side. Due to the social distancing all tables are according with signage and we were the only ones in. We ordered our drinks and food right away and our server was able to answer a few questions we had. Took a while for our main dish to come out, but my non-seafood eating boyfriend ordered his chicken tenders and it came out timely. It look pretty good and according to him it tasted good. His only complaint would be that he wishes the sauce covered the tenders and wasn't served on the side. My mother and I split the Royal Feast which was $87 but it was a lot of food! A huge aluminum foil baking sheet cake out filled with one cluster of snow crab, one cluster of Dungeness crab, one pound clams, one pound mussels, and we asked for double shrimp since we don't like crawfish. Really not impressed. I have been to a number of restaurants like this and there is only one I like. We tried the shebang sauce on our shrimp and the flavor really fell short and did not impress. The place I prefer which I will not name because it is not local and not fair has a sauce that is a blend of different sauces similar to these guys except you can taste the various layers of flavor. Two stars because the service was good and fast. Disappointed it was not a better experience. Everyone is different, so if you have been planning on trying this place, make sure you do. Honestly, the oysters weren't tasted fresh. I always go to oyster farms in California to get fresh oysters so my standards maybe higher. But I was here at this restaurant is just because the Japanese restaurant in the same plaza had us sitting at the bar table but no one cares us and we even saw their food handlers used a dirty towel to wipe their knife for sashimi so we were scared and left. Didn't wanna wait for Hot N Juicy Crawfish which was like 5 mins away, so decided to try this one. Was a bit surprised at the first site since the store was large yet pretty empty, particularly comparing with Hot N Juicy. The place was weirdly decorated. It seemed like Asian but I couldn't tell as a Chinese myself. Thou with doubt, I convinced myself that the flavor and quality of food was the most important. So I ordered their signature claw fish for one with their special Shachang sauce and fried oyster entree. The food came on quickly. The crawfish was very small, at least to me. I grew up in china where clawfish was a typical and popular street food over summer and they were always much bigger. The flavor was ok. And it came with one potato and corn, which were not bad, maybe better than the clawfish actually. The fried oyster was average. Nothing more than the name so don't expect too much. The clawfish was at least fresh thou. In general, the food quality was just ok. Between 3-4 stars but the place as a whole was degraded by its weird decor and poor quality of dishes, forks and bowls, which were all like dollar store plastic. Best Cajun restaurant in town! Have been to the Mills location which is the equivalent of amazing. Wait staff is very attentive and the flavors are out of this world. You will not go wrong with Shabang which is a flavor mix of all. Medium is a great level of spice if you want something a little spicy but not overwhelming. My significant other and I usually do the King Crab Combo with two extra Snow Crab clusters (we leave very full and satisfied) If you see yourself with to go, they actually will bring aluminum foil and wrap the tray for you so you may take home! Putting it in the oven is the best way to recook (adding a little bit of water helps). I have been to the other Cajun Boil in the area, and it does not compare. read more

It's thick and unlike a bunch of other places that try to do the lemon pepper, garlic butter combo this place has a great texture. I tried this place last week and ordered the $27 crawfish with some potato and corn. I noticed that the price used to be $24, but they bumped it already to $27...hmmm. Anyways, i tried the shabang sauce because thats what people here are talking about and the server recommended it too. It was just ok and I didn't get excited with the flavor at all so not sure whats the hype with that though. With my order, I've got a couple huge crawfish and the rest are tiny and it's still didn't seem 2lbs of crawfish to me. I feel like they cheated on me there. I also had the hush puppies, they were ok just like in any other restaurant. I saw the same guy that I think used to own the Indian restaurant that was in the same spot. She's a professional crawfish consumer with deep Louisiana roots, and she enjoyed them, although she thinks she would have liked the traditional boil more.
