I've eaten at Chinese buffets around the USA & even a few in Germany. First rule of any buffet is to go when the food is fresh..either at the beginning of a day or when there are a lot of customers. 2d rule is try lots of different things, some buffets make different items better than others. 3d rule is there is always a lot of chicken.... I think King Buffet is pretty consistently good. I don't go to a buffet to eat soup, so no comment about the egg drop soup but the Jindu pork is good (a little too sweet), the seafood/cheese bake is cholesterol heaven and the sushi is decent. I go back for the black pepper chicken & sweet/sour chicken. Sure I wish there were a few things cooked differently or menu items added (sesame balls!), but I've never gotten sick from the food..except from over-eating, ha! read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would have. I have eaten here before. It was never great but Chinese buffets get you what you pay for. Tonight however absolutely was the worst. The crab wrapped in bacon still had the plastic wrapper on it. With the bacon wrapped around it. There was a hair connecting two of the cheese sticks in the pan. When we brought to the attention of the waitress she acted like she didn't speak English. The manager or cashier acted like there was nothing wrong and insisted that we pay for the bill. I would give zero stars if it were possible. I got very sick from eating here, as did several co-workers and my family members all at different times. I personally witnessed employee use the bathroom and walkout to serve and refill buffet without washing her hands. I told management but nothing was done. I would never eat here again and also recommend the health dept. to make a visit. read more

King China Buffet is a basic american-chinese buffet. Several meat options, decent number of vegetable options, and a handful of true american food options (french fries, chicken nuggets etc). Food in general is fresh and decent tasting for a buffet. read more

The food is alright. I have had better food. I think the price is also high for the quality of food they serve. However I witnessed a little kid dip her fingers in the ice cream multiple times. I informed the hostess of this incident in which no action was taken. People went and ate the ice cream and nothing was said to the customers or the parents of the children. Food is relatively good and mostly I used to enjoy. That was a reason I came back and had a late lunch. Person who were taking care of food at the buffet was all the time on the phone. Some of the food were there too long and part of food were harden. I sew one leading customers to tables and she was all the time on the phone. One sat close to my table was saying, " Well, her phone is more important!" The same lady was at the cashier and when I went to pay, and she didn't say anything but was still on the phone. I asked her if that phone call was more important than serving customers, she did not say anything and still was on the phone. If the customer service was a bit better, I would go again. King China Buffet is a great place to eat if it is busy. If not you may be eating older dishes. They have a large selection for everyone. They even have pizza. If you don't leave there full then it's your own fault. read more

They've got OK food and a nice selection but its not that great to see pizza,French fries, and garlic bread at a Chinese restaurant. Sometimes the employees are rude and rush you, so its not that enjoyable. read more

The food was hard had been setting out. Told the waitress she went and got a child that couldn't have been older than 16/17 that said she was the manager very rude with a smart mouth. When I asked when will a adult be in the establishment that I could talk to about the food and the way she carried herself she responded I'm his daughter and he is out of town and I don't know when he will be back for you to talk to I'm in charge when he isn't here. I will never go back to that establishment again and was charged for food that wasn't even eaten or touched. Make sure if you go there with children you check your ticket because they will charge children adult prices. Giving them a star is to overrated and that's only because you have to rate them with something. If it was up to me they wouldn't receive anything. read more

I have been to this buffet a handful of times (maybe 4?) and the first few times it was so-so. Food was ok; nothing to write home about but it was cheap and served its purpose. There were a few items that you wouldn't normally see on a Chinese buffet, like Italian chicken...Who knew? Every time we've gone, their white rice is crunchy and sitting out on the buffet, how does a Chinese place have bad white rice?? Last night (10/12/2011) my significant other and I decided we would try the buffet again. We got there around 7:45 and much to our surprise is was fairly empty, maybe four or five other tables and that was it. I was thinking that we might be in for some stale food but much to my surprise everything (except the white rice) looked pretty good. We sat down with our food, took a few bites and then I noticed on my boyfriends plate that there was a long piece of black hair coming out of his spare ribs. We called the waitress over and she ended up calling over the young lady who I assume was the manager on duty. The manager explained to us that it's hard with a buffet to make sure that the food stays clean and that sometimes things like that happen. She didn't even seem to care and just blamed it on the public, seriously? I explained to her that I understood that things like this tend to happen from time to time but it was not ok for us at this moment to continue eating our food as we were both pretty grossed out. I let her know that we would not be paying for the three or four bites of food that we had each consumed. As we are walking out she tells us that we don't have to pay for the food however we had to pay for the one Coke product we ordered and had barely touched. I let her know that it was absolutely ridiculous that she would charge us for the .25 cents in coke syrup that it cost them to give us this drink. I took my time and counted out the change, $1.28 to pay them for their soda. Mad doesn't even begin to cover it. I let her know that we would NEVER be coming back and that I will be sure to let everyone I know not to take their business there. I come from a long line of customer service type positions and I would never in a million years make a customer pay for a soda if they had a bad experience like we had, especially when that soda didn't cost them anything in the first place. We might have gone back and chalked this up to "stuff happens"....but now we definitely will NEVER go back. So, my advice if you go to this buffet; be sure you check your food for long black hairs! OH!...and stay away from the crunchy white rice! read more

Awful! Waitress messed up on all 3 drinks at our table, flies everywhere, food was disgusting, staff was rude. Will not return.

I went with my family to eat and there was six of us, our waitress was being very rude and not asking us politely what we would like to drink , at the end I got my bill to pay up front and I saw that they had charge me 10% of the tip , they are not supposed to do that , only I can leave a tip to the waitress, I did not know that they had charged me the tip until I went to go pay , I told the owner ( the Chinese man that is in the back sitting or the one that takes the money up front he is elderly), if he could take the the tip off because I already left the waitress a tip, he said no because there was more than 6 people and they automatically take 10% and he did not say that they would take 10% if it's more than 6 people , I got upset even more because they had charge me a couple of cents more , I asked the waitress to give me my money back since she was already giving a tip , she was yelling and she threw the money at me , that was the most rude thing to do to at customer, I will never go there again because they steel your money and they are rude! THEY NEED TO PUT A SIGN THAT SAYS (10%) WILL BE TAKEN AUTOMATICALLY IF THERE IS MORE THAN SIX PEOPLE! read more

I question the cleanliness. I watched an employee putting bowls and plates in the holders. His fingers were all inside the bowls! And not very appetizing seeing the guy filling the buffet with his hat on backwards and his pants mid thigh. At least the service is good and the food not bad read more
