Order Kung Pao chicken and Shrimp and Broccoli combination dinners that came with rice and an egg roll each, crab Rangoon and Won Ton soup for 3 of us for dinner. We ate the egg rolls and crab Rangoon then dove into the soup and main courses, but still had plenty left for another meal or two! I've given this place probably a dozen trips with several different dishes. The flavor is lacking and the chicken is ALWAYS over cooked. It's hard to chew and stringy. The flavors are not there, the service is okay. Place is dirty inside like most foodlion Chinese places. read more

My whole family got sick after we ate here. We thought it was a fluke but we all got sick again after eating the leftovers. Honesty, nothing even tasted that great. My kids said it tasted like dog food. The General Tso's Had weird pungent aftertaste like it had gone bad and they decided to sell it anyway. This is my family's go to Chinese restaurant in the area (Carolina Lakes/Sanford). We have tried a lot of places and this is the best around and they have great customer service. We have never been disappointed with their service, always receive large portion sizes, and they are great at getting the orders prepared quickly and on time. We ordered for pickup. I love how I didn't have to go inside to get the food. The door was set up to where they slid a basket out of a small opening for payment. The bottom part of the door had a sliding mechanism that opened and he placed the food on it. Super Easy and most importantly, I felt safe! This was my first time eating here and it honestly wasn't bad at all! Prior reviews I saw, weren't the best. So I thought I would leave a review. I've never reviewed anything food related before. We ordered Sesame Chicken Combos, General Tso, cashew chicken with a side of crab Rangoon. The combos included egg rolls. The food was great! When I moved up this way we ordered from there . It was a huge $125. order not 1 person in the house liked what they picked out. I love egg foo yung, u can taste the flour they use to thicken it up with. Not a fan at all. Never went back. I get my Chinese in Lillington 2 different places for different orders. One place has better fried rice than the other , other place has excellent egg foo yung. It's worth the trip down there. read more

5 stars because I've never had any issues here, the food is always hot and tastes good. Also there isn't much of a food selection around here so the fact that I can stay on buffalo lake road to get here is a major plus. It's fast food Chinese food, not 5 star dining. Much better than some reviews. This is our 3rd time ordering from them. I am impressed when I am able to put a note on my order not to use soy sauce as I am gluten free. And everytime they have done it right! I just ask for white sauce. And tell them I am gluten free in the note. I normally order chicken and broccoli, but today ordered chicken and vegetables. It was really very good. Carrots, pea pods,mushrooms,bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, broccoli, green pepper and celery. Yum delicious crisp tender and flavorful. Pretty darn good for American Chinese takeout. The plain fried rice is pretty bland, I definitely recommend subbing for veggie, chx or pork fried rice with your meal (if you aren't a white rice person). Black pepper chicken is GREAT!! My 7 yo daughter LOVES the General Tso's chicken. The Lo Mein is just OK, sorta bland but gets better with some soy sauce. Staff is very nice. The best thing is their online ordering. It gives you so many custom options and lets you know how much the substititions will cost. For anyone in the Buffalo Lakes Rd area who likes Chinese takeout, this is your place! read more

Absolutely the WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten! I ordered the BBQ bone-in spare rib combination plate and the ribs were nasty as hell, I could not eat them! I had previously posted about this restaurant. I thought the food was bland. Well my son got us some food from there without my knowledge. It was even worse than last time. I got some lo mein and pot stickers. The lo mein tasted like someone poured fish oil in it and the pot sticker were thick and very chewy, the meat inside was a black color. We ordered the Pineapple Chicken and orange beef. The pineapple chicken dish is literally just chicken and canned pineapple. No onions or other veggies. And there's way more pineapple than chicken. They should really call it "chicken flavored pineapple". And the orange beef was paper thin slices of beef heavily battered and deep fried, then coated in sauce. Tbh we had trouble tasting the beef under all that breading and sauce. But we'll take your word that it's in there. My go to place for Chinese food since it's closest. I love their chicken and rice soup when I'm not feeling well! My boys love the Chinese doughnuts! The general tso's is pretty good and so is the sesame chicken. Not loving the lo mein as much as other places, but it's ok. Service is always fast and friendly. read more

I visited this restaurant for the first time today. I called in my order for General Tso and was told it would take 10-15 min to complete. I arrived 22 minutes later and had to wait for them to complete my order. In route to my office with my food, I noticed that the food had a strong vinegar smell. When I arrived at my office, I found that the food was not packaged properly and had opened up. The food looked okay visually, but the chicken tasted of too much vinegar and was just not very good. The rice also had an off taste. The top of the can of Pepsi I ordered also had an off putting smell, despite my cleaning the top. I was very much disappointed in my food. If you're looking for vegetables with your meal, look somewhere else. Typically these people serve 3 pieces of broccoli with a general tso's chicken entree. I tried to upgrade my meal to include extra broccoli and paid extra...got home and there were 4 pieces instead of 3.
