    Chicken Chow Mein

Whatever you do, don't get the chicken chow mein. Veggie chow mein not much better. Egg rolls were pretty good but the veggie dumplings were soggyyyy.

Do not go here if you want quality customer service or food. The food has dropped dramatically since the new owners took over. I also placed an order for steamed dumplings and crab Rangoon, and online it said that it would be $8.60+tax. When I got there, she rang me up at $13.40. I told her it was not what the website said and she said she didn't care and didn't plan to change it online. I told her that was false advertising.

Funny story, I called in to order some appetizers and ordered.. chicken teriyaki sticks, fried won tons and 3 won tons soups. No I am think individual sizes soup.. but nope I got 3 Large soups.. see picture. Well good thing the soup was delicious because we are going to be eating it for days. chicken sticks are extremely good and fried wontons quite tasty too. We haven't been here in a while as there are two Chinese places closer but really enjoyed the food abs my husband is already planning a return next week.

Hands down the fastest pickup for takeout ever. If you're hungry order from here because by the time you call and order you can leave your house to go get it. They always quote 10 minutes no matter how much or what you order. This is the quintessential chinese take out place. Back lit pictures of the food that are probably too old to be still hung and about 200 menu items. Plus if you order a certain dollar amount they have specials for free add on items. Over $35 and you get a free order of crab rangoon! The crab rangoon is good. You can tell there is actual chunks of imitation crab unlike some places where it's so minced up. I personally thought the sweet and sour sauce was waaaay to sweet though. Pad thai, general tso and shrimp fried rice are also good and the portion sizes are large- they really pack that food in there. Consistent greasy, salty delicious chinese food to cure that craving!

Every family has their ~go to~ Chinese takeout. King Dragon is ours. Their lunch specials are the best deals around for Chinese food. We typically get a chicken dish and Lo Mein, both of which we love :)

It was 50/50. Chicken fried rice was terrible. It was salty, very dry and half cooked rice. Hot and spicy beef was okayish.

It was not worth my time or taste buds. Just nasty. Why does Indy suffer from good or even decent Chinese food.

It's so much more convenient than driving all the way to the northwest side of Indy. I've been on the hunt for solid American-Chinese food and anything close to more traditional Cantonese-style dishes. Still searching overall, but Tian Fu definitely has some pretty solid options. I specifically go out of my way for their Beef Stir-Fried Rice Noodles (Beef Chow Fun), which I haven't been able to find anywhere else in the city. The noodles have great texture and flavor, and it totally scratches that craving. I also really liked their fried marinated chicken wings, perfect mix of crispy skin and flavorful. I've heard they have a separate Chinese menu you can request, which makes me even more curious to dine in sometime and explore more of their offerings. Overall, I'd recommend them for the variety alone, easily one of the better Chinese food spots in the city, especially if you're on the east side and want something reliable for takeout.

The orange chicken was really good - like, I'd order that again without hesitation. They give you plenty! I don't even know how I'm going to eat all the leftovers. I was expecting the small to be... well, small. Anyway. The pepper steak was just okay. It lacked flavor for me. And of course, lots of giant peppers instead of slicing them down...and a crap ton of veggies without much steak. But that's typical. The shrimp fried rice... Tasteless. I don't usually like to add more soy sauce to my food (and I didn't), but you're gonna need to drizzle the sauce from one of the other meals onto it or SOMETHING because homegirl was tasteless. Disappointing. The shrimp and broccoli was fine - exactly what you'd expect. Everything was packaged well, so I'd say attentive service for takeout. Not sure what it looks like on the inside/bathrooms/cleanliness, etc. since we did takeout, but I would go back for the orange chicken unless I find a place with better + solid shrimp fried rice. P.S. Remember when they used to automatically put eggs in the fried rice without you having to pay extra? I miss those days.
