Sooooooooo when you drive up and see the drive thru, don't change your mind. Order and be amazed. Strictly a take out place.....yes you can eat in but not a recommendation. But the food was a wow. The ribs and chicken were meaty meaty and well seasoned. The barbecue sauce was sweet and tangy and the fried chicken wings were not salty (my hypertension dictates I'm always concerned about the salt content). The pepper steak was big chunks of beef and the garlic chicken had more chicken than anticipated. Best crunchy not soggy egg rolls and flavorful rice. Window clerk was welcoming and patient. This restaurant is my favorite hole-in-the-wall destination when I want my Chinese fast-food cuisine fix. I've been patronizing this location for many years and I've gotten to know the employees at this Cambodian family-owned business. The food is prepared at purchase and brought out quickly. The portions are large and can easily become two or more meals. I usually order their Honey Chicken Combination meal which also includes Fried Rice and an Egg Roll. Adding a bottled water to my order brought my total tab to just under $13.00. And it goes without saying, the food is flavorful and delicious. Talk about bang for your buck. The restaurant has a small sit-down dining area along with a drive-thru but, I usually come in to chat with the friendly manager, La, and discuss how business is going. Please don't let the building and area throw you off... this restaurant should not be overlooked because it's not in the prettiest of locales. I ate here once it was good but I never came back, I guess it didn't wow me. I decided to give it a second chance and to my suprise the food was good ! The general tso chicken is the reason I'll be back again. I love the rice and wing " special " it gets the job done and it's like $8.99. Not a big fan of their rice but to be fair I'm a bit bias. I drove all the way over here to enjoy their very lucrative lunch special that they advertise on their website for $5.25 that includes a drink. When I arrived the sign said $4.99 however it was faded so I assumed the website pricing of $5.25 would be accurate. After ordering I am informed it is actually $9 and you do not get your choice for the drink it is a canned soda that you do not get options with picking. I asked why my total was higher than expected and the woman got an attitude with me asking "where i saw that it was $5.25" i responded by showing her website and she just said no and went for my card. I did not hand over my card as nothing had even been made yet, I was still placing my order so it was very inappropriate for her to reach for my card while price was in question. To summarize I left and will not be returning and will be sure to let my coworkers to do the same. read more

However I called to place a pick up order (I'm 7 minutes away) and the person said they were closed though their take home menu said they were open til 10 (called at 9:38 on 12/30/19). Then THEY JUST HUNG UP ON ME. So I called back and asked when they stopped taking orders and they just said we are closed. And I responded, ok but when do you stop taking orders so I don't have my heart set on a place that won't take the order? And the person said 9:30 (which btw is not mentioned anywhere on their menu). The thing I like about this place is that they are quick to get the food out. I feel like it's better to order inside rather than the "drive thru" cause it takes a while to make the food and such and sitting there in the car wasting gas ain't such a good thing. I usually get the Chicken wings and egg drop soup. I puchased the exact same item today. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. $27.00 down the drain. The wings were not fresh, you can tell they were already cooked then warmed up again. Like this was shocking and sad. The egg drop soup presentation was disgusting. The smell of the egg was overwhelming and just a huge ball of egg clumped together no scallions. The smell is what really got me. That horrible smell, it looked as if the eggs went bad. I called King Expresss back and not only did they not offer a refund of the food I ordered, they said we have a different cook today. So that should let you know as an ongoing customer I have never complained. You would think they would take that into consideration. Never again, that was DISGUSTING and I see why they are not with Uber Eats or any other delivery service. But the food is always super fresh and made from scratch (I watch them make it right there) and the portions are pretty fair especially their $5.25 lunch specials! It's literally a steal of a deal for great food! Yeah the interior might be lacking that charm or glamor but honestly the food is well worth it! And the staff is always pretty chill and super easy to work with and even change your order if you change your mind. So bottom line just give this place a try if you want great fast fresh made Chinese food that won't break the bank! My recommendation is the Wonton soup (it's huge) and the general Taos chicken and boneless pork dishes are fantastic! read more

Best Chinese restaurant in all Orlando!!! Ive been coming here since i was 5years old and never have i had a bad experience. I'll probably eat here 1-6 times a month. Its not expensive at all for the quantity of food you get. Way better than any food court Chinese food. The outside may not look nice but don't be deceived. I still have not tried everything on the menu because i cant decide what to get. Recently tried the Crab-Rangoon there for the first time ever. And i fell in love im completely addicted. Ive been to other Chinese restaurants and buffets but no Crab-Rangoon have yet to top those. Or any other food. The boneless ribs are to die for. The Pepper steak and bourbon chicken are amazing. The Orange chicken has to be my least favorite because they make it very spicy its still good though. And they have fried chicken thats best with french fries.
