For my main, I got LAMB SAAG. It was my very first time trying this and I was not disappointed in the slightest! Incredible flavor, great portion size. The entrees do not come with rice so I also ordered a side of white rice that went very well with the dish. For the table, we ordered KEEM NAAN, CHEESE NAAN, and GARLIC NAAN - all of them tasted great with everyone's dishes as well (if you choose to not get rice, the naan is perfect with the entree). As a lovely sweet treat, we received plates of watermelon at the very end! The perfect palette cleanser and so refreshing In terms of parking, it was a little tricky but not impossible! Definitely get there early to find parking, or try your luck searching for street parking (the street parking is free!). The total for our meal of 8 people was: ~$366, not including tip and every person got a drink (cocktails, teas, and lassis). We stopped by around 7:45 PM on a Saturday, and the restaurant was pretty packed, which honestly got me excited. A busy restaurant usually means the food must be doing something right, right? There were plenty of tables, and I liked the decor toward the back of the restaurant. The only downside was that there appeared to be only one waiter handling the entire restaurant, which definitely became noticeable as the night went on. We ordered A LOT, so let's get into it. Classic Lamb Curry -- $17.99 | 6/10 My husband ordered the lamb curry since I don't eat lamb, so I left the judging to him. He gave it a 6/10. It was decent, but nothing that really stood out enough to make us want to come back specifically for it. Chicken Tikka Masala -- $14.99 | 7/10 One of my favorites of the meal! You get that classic creamy, tomato-based curry flavor with a little sweetness in the sauce. And honestly, that sweetness is exactly what I love about tikka masala. It gives the dish that rich, comforting flavor that makes you want to keep dipping your naan in it. Nothing revolutionary, but definitely enjoyable. Chicken Karai -- $14.99 | 5/10 This one was unfortunately not for me. The biggest issue was the saltiness. I'm not sure if this is how their karai is traditionally prepared, but whew... prepare to reach for your blood pressure medication. The bell peppers and vegetables were also a little strange in texture. The peppers seemed undercooked, so they had an almost raw crunch that didn't really blend well with the rest of the dish. I wanted to like this one, but it just didn't hit. Mixed Vegetables -- $15.99 | 6/10 A pretty straightforward mix of cauliflower, bell peppers, onions, and spices. Nothing particularly memorable, but since we had already ordered three protein-heavy dishes, I wanted to throw some vegetables into the mix. Vegetable Fried Rice -- $15.99 | 5/10 Honestly? Stick with the classic basmati rice. The fried rice sounded much more exciting on the menu, but the combination of peas and the heavy garlic flavor didn't really work for me. The flavors felt like they were competing with each other rather than coming together. The plain basmati rice, however, was good -- simple, fluffy, and exactly what you want when you have several curries on the table. Pour that sauce over the rice and you're good to go. Garlic Naan -- $4.50 | 7.5/10 Now THIS I liked. Not too thin, with the perfect amount of chewiness and a nice hit of garlic on top. This was probably one of my favorite items of the meal. Give me a good naan and I'll happily keep scooping up curry. Apricot Naan -- $6.50 | 6/10 I ordered this because the apricot inside sounded interesting, and I was hoping maybe they had some sort of homemade apricot jam situation going on. Sadly... no homemade jam. It tasted more like an apricot spread, and unfortunately, I wasn't a huge fan. It wasn't terrible, just not something I'd order again. The biggest issue: the wait. We waited a little over an hour and didn't actually start eating until around 8:47 PM. I completely understand that restaurants can get slammed on a Saturday night, especially when they're short-staffed. But I think a simple check-in from the staff -- even just "Sorry for the long wait, we're running behind" -- would have made a big difference. Or honestly... bring out that garlic naan first. After waiting that long, we were HUNGRY, so expectations were definitely getting higher by the minute.
