Tried this place recently when it showed up at my old job for a free double feature movie night. The fact the line was long was probably because the event doesn't allow outside food or beverages, besides unopened bottles of water. Thus the reason for lines at the offered food trucks that were present. Anyways, uhm the donuts; what can I say? Other than it being topped with sugary bites and you can opt in for a scoop of ice cream to make a donut sundae, the bite sized treats are mediocre at best. The dough is nothing that stands out and they don't offer any filled donut options. It's cute and I understand the concept, yet it just doesn't fulfill the needs of what I wanted in a donut. I felt these donuts were inspired for kids who can't live without sweets. Not adults whose tastebuds have matured. Meaning, the only thing available were these creations of donuts that met the expectations of my eyes. But did not meet the expectations of my tastebuds. Service was whatever.. I felt rushed ordering from the girl that helped me at the window. When you stand in a line in the dark, with a truck that has chalkboard writing; you aren't able to see far. So I would like sometime to look over my options when I get to the front. Yes I know there is a line, that I too; also waited in without complaint. I'm just saying. 1/5 stars in my opinion. Great experience hiring this truck for the donut only menu. It was for a large private event and the employee managed the chaos so well. I think they served close to 300 donuts in about an hour and 20 minutes. What can I say! They showed up to my work location so I was able to try out there famous churro doughnuts in which there were only 2 left when I got my chance to order. You can order doughnuts/ice cream separately if you want too, but I chose to do the sandwich where I had the churro doughnut with vanilla ice cream. I did not add toppings because I was afraid it would be to sweet, but you have the options to add toppings and drizzle chocolate or caramel, if you'd like. With such a last minute request, Gabby came through like a champ! Super flexible, easy-going - and just a sweetheart - I was very pleased with her service. The truck was an 'end of the night' surprise for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen birthday party. The kids (and adults) loved the donuts, ice cream, and beverages - especially the hot chocolate ('twas a cold, cold night!). Not an avid pastry person myself (although I do indulge from time to time), my chocolate glazed donut with Oreo crumbles (and mint ice cream) was delish!! My nephew and I were at an outdoor movie night event and stood in line for ONE HOUR for two milkshakes only to get to the front of the line and order for the lady to nonchalantly say, "Oh we don't have any more milkshakes." I misunderstood and replied that I'd be OK with a different flavor but she corrected me saying they were literally making no more milkshakes that night. Two people behind me yelled out, "What?!! You've got to be f-ing kidding me!!". They had me waiting at least 50 min as well. The worker heard this exclamation and remained unaffected, did not apologize, and kept on taking people's orders quietly. Please value your customers' time and simply just..care. You have an easel chalkboard with all the flavors on it under a heading, "milkshakes." It would have taken 45 seconds for someone to come out of the truck and either cross/wipe off the milkshake menu section with chalk or a damp paper towel. If coming out of the truck is too difficult, announcing on your intercom every once in awhile where you were calling out customer names would've been much appreciated. Instead, we stood in line for an hour, missed the first part of the movie and came back with absolutely nothing. Poor customer service! read more

I think the only thing that I can positively say about this food truck is that it is instagrammable. The fact the the decal of the truck and the making of their donuts is worth taking pictures. There isn't much else that has a kick factor. Donuts are too doughy and definitely too sweet. I suppose after all those toppings, you're not really there to eat it but to just look at it and take a picture. Prices are a little on the higher side. And it's nothing special that makes it stands out from other places who started this type of donut trends in the area like CAlifornia Donuts. And honestly there is another donut shop in my area of Lakewood called Granny's donuts which are absolutely amazing. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to try this place again. But if they're in the same area of like say a food truck meet or something, I might weigh out my options of the neighboring trucks to see what I would decide on. After spending 5 hours at the DTLA Grand Park 4th of July party, I was very excited to try a donut sundae. I had been thinking about it during the entire festival, but could not go until we were leaving after the fireworks as to not leave my things unattended. Of the lineup of food trucks most had 1 maybe 2 people waiting, but the donut truck had about 6-8 people waiting. We got in line and started to make our order decisions. During the wait at least 10 other people got in line behind us. As we were getting closer to our turn on line the cashier said "that's my last customer" pointing to the gentleman in front of me. Then she waved over the police officers and had them throw over a dozen people off the line including my husband and myself. Now not only did I waste time on line, but I was cheated out of enjoying a desert ( which after coming off a 10 Day liquid fast was incredibly disappointing), I was also sort of chased away by police officers, which is kind of outrageous. I think it was incredibly odd that during what was potentially one of the busiest times, as thousands of people were leaving the main park and passing the food trucks to abruptly close, with no explanation. Throwing the dozen or so people off the line probably lost the business an extra $100 as sundaes are $8-$10 each and certainly there would have been dozens of more customers as the droves of people exiting the area seemed to have an interest in this truck over all the others. read more

I saw an advertisement on Facebook announcing they were going to be in my city & that for every dozen purchased they were going to donate a dozen to my local hospital. I thought wow this deal is a double whammy.... I paid $25 dollars for two coffees & 1dz. donuts for me & 1dz. for our local health care workers on the frontlines during this COVID19. Not only did I help a small business out but my purchase went the extra mile to thank our doctors, nurses, janitors, & everyone who helps keep our local hospitals running. This donut shop on wheels takes Venmo which made it super easy to preorder beforehand. Yes there was a wait but it was so worth it. Customer service was awesome, professional, and friendly. This was horrible! I ordered food from here during the drag and drive and I got the text message the order was ready 8:11pm, once the show was over. I went to the food truck and asked for my order, i waited 40 minutes. One of the lady kept saying we don't work like this but obviously they are a hot mess. I am not a big donut or milkshake person, but I was at a beer celebration event, and the donuts looked so good, and it was so hot that the combination of a donut and a milkshake sounded wonderful. Got a churro donut and an espresso milkshake. Both were sweet, but not sickeningly sweet. This was probably the fluffiest, yet most dense donut I have ever had. Delicious Donuts, but terrible organization and horrible service!! I went to Rupaul's Drag Show at the Rosebowl and there were about 5 food trucks there. We decided coffee and donuts would be a quick treat to grab while enjoying the show. There was a sign that said all orders for food and merch had to be placed online, so we did that. However, some people were walking up to the donut truck, ordering, and getting their orders filled fairly quickly, while the rest of rule followers waited 30 min or more for our orders. How difficult could it be to dispatch something that is already prepped? Apparently for the 3 workers on the truck, it was. They were so unprepared, and when I inquired about my order after 30 min, one of the ladies had an ugly attitude. I asked for a refund, but another nicer lady probably figured it was easier to give me my coffee and donuts then try to refund my money. Anyhow, if you have time to spare, and are willing to overlook crappy service, their donuts are really good. If they got their stuff together, they could generate so much more revenue, but you get what you give. read more
