I'm a fan of the 24 hours conveniently located LOS TACOS Mexican restaurant here in West Hollywood. The portions are large, the flavors simple and true, but they also have a great station that allows you to bring it all up to how you like your meal to taste with red and green sauces of mild, medium, and hot, as well as lemons, sour cream, and sautéed jalapeños and onions w carrots... it all allows you to dress up and customize your Mexican food order. The place is no frills in the decor department but more like a Latin diner that one might expect to see in a Robert Rodriguez film. Been a patron here for 20 years and hope to be a patron here for another 20 more... ** NOTE TO READER: my pictures showcase a chile brand I'm a fan of and bring in to Mexican restaurants so don't expect to see that there!

This is a very nice restaurant I just came from Mexico they made me feel like I was at home they cook amazing Carlos is an amazing cook he deserves a raise he made me feel at home please help these guys get some more money they work hard and they bring a lot of Mexican flavor to the dish I support 100%

10/10. Really good quality, amazing salsa, and the cashier/waiter/head dude is adorable, excellent service.

    Order #9: Wet Burrito Combo
    Ronald C.

Ordered the combo wet burrito. Wet burrito was just the right texture. You're given the option to choose the meat that you want with the burrito. Ex. Carne asada, al pastor, etc. They're also very generous with the amount of sauce that is dressed onto the burrito. In addition to other items, they have a nice selection of beverages to choose from: Jarrito Drink, Jamaica, Tamarindo, Watermelon Juice, and Horchata. I ordered the watermelon juice and it was by far the most refreshing and authentic watermelon juice I've ever had. Highly recommend ordering the large cup size regardless of which of the following drinks mentioned you decide to order.

This is one of my favorite hole in the wall spots in LA for good old fashioned Mexican food. The burrito is packed full and comes "wet" with delicious sauce! It's absolutely one of my "go-to's" near home. Staff is super nice and there are a plethora of options on their extensive menu, but the burrito just happens to be my personal favorite. Worth every bite!

this plant obviously have some sort of disease because they're not healthy. There's probably where the box come from.

Ordered Al pastor tacos but I'm not certain this isn't chicken
    Char J.

I'm literally not drunk enough to enjoy these $14 tacos I got. Al pastor is pork, right? My tacos taste like chicken. And it's drenched in a barely seasoned red sauce. Highly disappointed you're better off going to a street corner taco stand if you want good late night tacos.

atmosphere was great. loved the lighting. 3am food is a blessing, got chips and Jamaica, both were gas.

One of my go to food spots when I'm in LA. The food taste very authentic and hits the spot every time. This is a small diner but the perfect place for food with friends. This time I ordered chicken and Al pastor tacos. Also not featured is an order of tamales. Will always pull up here when I'm in town.

Came in for a quick bite to eat before a show down the street at the Troubadour. Everything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, the food was made promptly and brought out to us. It was towards the end of our meal that things got interesting as I had asked for hot sauce for my taco sampler The server mentioned some super spicy taco they had. Now I can handle extreme heat (I could do Hot Ones no problem) and more often than not I'm let down by what most places consider spicy. Not this time however I knew it was gonna be good when the staff from the kitchen started to check me out after it was ordered. They were being sly but by the end of the taco I feel as if I had earned their respect, I'd give it a 7 on my heat scale - it was hot and also delicious. A great experience all around - thank you Guisados

The masa tortillas weren't fresh and tasted gritty. They were room temperature and I would've preferred them warm. The meat ratio was generous, but they were super watery and there was a pool of liquid at the bottom of my plate. The flavor of the meats was just meh, a bit diluted for good Mexican food. The only saving grace here was the shrimps which were plump and juicy, but still not enough to carry this experience. The shop interior is on the smaller side, but there are a good amount of tables and chairs. There's also a bathroom which seemed clean. The service was pretty good here.

We ordered just a couple tacos - one asada and one tripa, based on reading numerous recommendations that those are what to get here. $3.50 a taco which is not bad for a restaurant taco. It's a cool casual vibe here. Seating inside as well as the patio. They have tasty looking horchata and other agua frescas. Colorful walls. They bring your food out to you by calling your name. The tacos were loaded with a pretty decent amount of meat and toppings. But sadly we were far from impressed by the flavor. The asada was okay and better than the tripa, but it paled in comparison to our go-to taco trucks in the area which only costs $1. And the tripa was strange to eat in taco form. The tripa is crunchy small pieces so it just feels odd to eat in a taco. Maybe if it was just served as an appetizer to eat by itself, but even then, it kinda just feels like you're eating pellets. Don't see the hype unfortunately.

The ambiance alone makes the experience feel special. Also... have you ever seen a Spanish hibachi-style restaurant before? No? Me either! Such a unique concept! Now let's talk food. I'm a dessert-first kind of girl, and although I saved it for last, the Tres Leches completely stole the show. You genuinely cannot get one like this anywhere else. It was soft, ultra-moist, and full of coconut goodness. I would absolutely come back just for that dessert alone. We also ordered the Huevos con Bistec, Carnitas Hash, and Ceviche Campechano. The steak in the Huevos con Bistec was cooked perfectly -- tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The crispy bite-sized potatoes paired with it were perfection. I also appreciated that they accommodated my request for egg whites. Everything we tried was delicious, and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his meal too. Did I mention they do bottomless mimosas eyyyy! My boyfriend's favorite part of any brunch. Shoutout to our server, Ashley, for taking care of us. She was very patient, attentive, and kind. Our server was charming and helpful... so much so that I let him lead me to order something I never would have - the carnitas hash. Forgetting for a moment that I don't care for carnitas. But still the eggs and potatoes were good. My friend had the burrito and it was HUGE, but good. We shared the Birria Empanadas appetizer and these were terrific. I definitely want to go back and try their regular menu and their happy hour - this looks to be a great place to meet and grab a drink and a light meal after work.
