Sunday Tradition. Zoo. King Kong. Steak Special has enough for an adult and two kids to share. Salad. Big Streak. Fries (with that crazy good seasoning). Greek Salad with fresh Feta!? Rice with Potatoes. It's incredible. Food is always fresh. Service is quick.

$40 here gets you two regular sides of fries, a gyro, and a single bacon cheeseburger... VERY pricey for fast food. The fries were sad and not very crispy. The burger was huge, but dry. The flavor of the burger was okay. The gyro was really good, but for the price I can't see myself ever coming back. We asked for no onions on the bacon cheeseburger and there were many strings of raw onion on top. We went at 6PM and there was no one at all in the drive thru line. Only a couple cars in the parking lot. I really did not want to give King Kong a try after many years, but my fiancé really wanted to. Sadly, we were both let down. I remember about 6 years ago walking into King Kong with my friend and seeing their prices. We walked out without getting anything. For the price the food is not worth it.

I paid about $20 for my double Kong burger and it was MASSIVE! I should have gotten the single, I didn't know it would be so huge! But it was incredible, it tastes so fresh and the produce on the burger was crisp and perfect. I went through the drive thru, it took them a bit to make my burger but not too long. The lady at the window was super nice and chatty. I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving a giant burger!

My favorite place from back in the day is losing its charm. And I'm sadly ok with it because Freddy's, Five Guys et al have started replacing them. I've stopped by here on purpose on my cross country drives. This time it wasn't memorable. Burgers are okayish now. Condiments and mayo etc won't bring back the loaded juicy taste of biting in. Hope they can reinvent themselves. Service has kind of faded down too.

$16.99 steak special on Sunday. Also come with a small Greek salad.

It has come to be a tradition anytime we go to the zoo to stop at King Kong because we are all starving afterwards. Great steak special on Sundays for $16.99 that includes steak, Greek salad and fries. Portions are huge! As a family of 4 we ate for $52 and have leftovers for lunch tomorrow too! Staff is super friendly and service is really quick. They have been around forever so they must be doing something right!

Was missing my Gyro go to--so I drove through for a Gyro Platter with the salad on the side. It was almost as ordered but, rice was added which I didn't think I ordered as a side. Anyway, it was memorably great, I enjoyed 3 meals from 1 platter!

Good gyro and fries especially for being able to grab quickly through the drive through. The Monday special of a gyro and fries is a good deal to save a couple bucks.

Dining room is open during COVID, they did a good job cleaning and creating a socially distant ordering process. It's super close to the zoo, and the food is great (and fast). Defintely get the Gyro plate! Generous portions, especially if you order extra meet. We also tried the Greek salad, which was delicious and a kids chicken finger meal (which was frozen reheated). Overall, great experience and we love eating here.

Served with a side of fries and a pickle spear. I love pickles but this pickle tasted odd, closer to a butter pickle than a dill. The fries were delicious, I believe they are twice fried making a wonderful crunchy exterior and fluffy interior. The Rachel was fine. The rye bread tasted a bit stale, and the turkey was centered in the sandwich to make the cut cross section look loaded but then making 1/3 on each half just bread. Minimal sauerkraut and very little thousand island made it pretty dry. Based on the food would have rated my experience lower but I've had The Rachel before and it was amazing so this must have been an off day. Restaurant is decorated in a beautiful color palette. The mustard plush benches are pretty but not plush, I learned the hard way as I plopped down. It was surprisingly muggy inside the restaurant for a 70 degree day. The service was adequate and the restaurant and hotel were stunning as always.

We are creatures of habit, so we had the brussells and crab cakes again as an appetizer - so delicious! My husband was feeling adventurous and had the scallops. He said they were very good, but the grits with large chunks of bacon stole the show. My short rib grilled cheese was delicious, and the perfectly seasoned fries on the side were the cherry on top. I also had a N/A Watermelon Basil spritz - yum! Beautiful night for a beautiful meal!

First, our entrées arrived only about five minutes after the appetizer, even though we had not finished it yet. Second, both entrées arrived cold. I ordered the chicken lasagna, and it tasted reheated and was still cold. My girlfriend's short ribs were the same. We sent both dishes back and ordered burgers instead. I asked for mine medium, but it arrived well-done. What disappointed us the most was that neither the manager nor the chef came to the table to apologize or address the situation. Unfortunately for them, we have both worked in the restaurant industry for years, and we know the proper protocol. At the very least, a manager should approach the table when a guest sends a dish back. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this restaurant.

Loved this place!…read more Omaha was such a surprising place for its range of high quality food. Memoir was only a few blocks away from our Moxy Hotel. We were able make a reservation on Open Table. Food (5/5): We had some wonderful food here. We had the following: TSUNAMI MAKI inside * shrimp tempura, crab mix, cream cheese / outside * crab stick tempura, spicy honey mustard, sweet soy, sesame seeds (8 pcs) WAGYU MEMOIR DIP* - smoked shaved beef, crescenza cheese, horseradish aioli, french bread, fries or simple salad Both were really delicious. For some reason, I missed the the "dip" was a "French dip sandwich" - I thought tit was actually a dip (haha). We split the sandwich as it was huge, and then ended up ditching the bread and adding the beef to the fried rice, below. BEEF FAT FRIED RICE - egg, snow peas, carrot, scallion Service (5/5): Server was kind and efficient. Ambiance (5/5): Cool, modern and upscale vibe. We had a cool corner booth. Loved the atmosphere.

I added the flatiron steak which was really tasty! I almost ate it alone as it was packaged separately, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked medium. Not sure how many ounces there were. Appeared small but good lunch portion. Roasted Beets: 2/5 I can't say I enjoyed this combination. The yogurt had a twang to it that I felt like was throwing everything off.

This is a nice feeling restaurant, clean and has a modern feel to it but…read morebetween small portions, high prices and underwhelming flavors it felt like we were paying more for the *environment* than the food. You can get better, more authentic food at literally any taco truck in South Omaha at less than half the price per taco. This just didn't feel worth the money and we ended up going across the street for dumplings immediately following dinner because *nobody finished anything*. Nothing really stood out as special, which is disappointing considering each individual taco you order is $5-6. - shrimp and bacon: well seasoned and that aioli really complemented the shrimp. Not impressed that it only had 3 shrimp on it and I'm not sure if bacon was added. - Mushroom: ... this one was everybody's least favorite. It was DRY and tasted like smoke. Nothing was added to give it some moisture and it felt like an attempt to make a mushroom taste like meat but it didn't go well. - carnitas and chicken: both of these fall into the same category of nothing to write home about but meet what you'd expect. - Brisket: this one was the best of the day, hands down. I wouldn't say it saved the evening but it was the best meat on the menu. Only note was it made the single tortilla really wet so as soon as I picked it up the tortilla ripped in half. Not complaining about it though as it was the only thing that felt worth the money. - seared tuna: also shockingly dry?? It's barely cooked, how is it dry?? Bland. - El Jefe (rice bowl): once again brisket saved the day but the rice was soggy and I just wasn't impressed especially at the price point. - esquites: not up to par with elote or other esquites I've had... this was the start of our dinner and it was on the bottom with the mushroom taco. The portion size was also incredibly small. We ordered 3 for the table and none returned to the kitchen empty. Our waitress was plenty friendly and prompt- we DID enjoy the service. Ultimately though, we all feel like we wasted our money here.
