Decided to give this place a try after going to olala and was told I'd have to come back in an hour. King massage is in a small complex that actually has two locations. One king massage upstairs and one king massage downstairs. I thought..which one is the one the yelp reviews are talking about? I chose the downstairs one as it was closer :p After going in, a man then told me to follow him to the upstairs one..so much for closer. I'm guessing they're the same establishment? So on to the massage! For $15/hr this place was not bad though I have to admit that some of my masseurs' techniques almost had me bursting into laughter. There was a portion where I felt him massaging my face with his pinkies..trust me it felt as funny as it sounds lol. Overall this was decent massage place that satisfied my fix though I'd probably try a different masseuse next time. FYI ladies, they do ask you to take off your shirt and unhook your bra while they're doing your back, but they'll give you a curtain like cover up to make you feel less awkward so no biggie. read more

First floor place is the open area and the upstairs place is the VIP area and private rooms 2) $20 for the VIP room Cons: 1) VIP room was just a 5 foot tall partition in the hallway. Nothing VIP about that. There are two of them. Across the hallway were the private rooms, which I would've rather have 2) first part of shoulder massage is sitting up... I have been coming here for the past 6 months about 2 to 3 times each month. Make an appointment because they can get busy. It's called a foot massage but it's a whole body massage. What to wear: shorts, tshirt and slippers. Guys will be shirtless and in their shorts. Not sure what happens if guys wear pants there haha. Girls will have a bath towel wrapped around. They will cover you so you can take off your clothes. You can take off your bra or keep it on and just put the straps down. If you're wearing a dress or long pants you'll just take it all off so you'll be in underwear and bra. It's in a dark room so you'll be fine haha everyone is like that anyway. And for girls who have makeup on you can tell them no face. So they'll massage your head more instead. Overall all the staff members are good. Came here on a Sunday with a friend, the rooms were all booked but told me to come back at 3. While I was there I asked to book 2 rooms for me and my friend. We waited an hr and when we came back at our scheduled time, the manager only booked for 1 room. He spoke to me over the phone and said "my bad, I only book for one room." Said if we can wait another hour he will give me 10% off...you wasted my time and my friends time. Then to tell us to waste more time to only give us $2 off???? Our time was only worth $2. To the manager, next time when you make a mistake...word of advice, your suppose to say "I'm sorry" or "my apologies" not "my bad" if you have given a proper apology then you probably wouldn't be receiving this review. Usually my request a masseur I like, but today they quit, so I request that the owner appoint me a strong masseur that has experienced instead she appointed me a person who was neither strong or experienced. So then I tried this person for 20 minutes but was not relaxed nor did I feel a thing. I told these problems to the owner and she denied that there were no problems and also denied that there was no fault. One of my regular massage spots in Westminster. I go maybe once a month. Can't beat $15 for a massage. Even though you can tell them to give you a softer massage, the massages tend to be on the deeper side compared to the others in the area. You may feel that they overdid it initially, but you feel great afterwards. Don't get weirded out with the setup, dimly-lit room with multiple beds, since most of the other places are pretty much the same. Since it's a large room instead of a private room, you can hear people talking, but you can ignore it and pass out with your massage. Although this place is really small and a bit crammed, who could pass up a $15 massage?! I've been to this place about 3 times and they give decent massages however it is kind of annoying how they stop your massage to answer the phone or greet customers who come in the door. The last time I came in, I made an appointment by phone in advance, however it doesnt matter if you make an appointment or not, it's basically first come first serve.... what do you expect, they are asian.. What was SUPER DUPER annoying was these loud, abnoxious, and rude customers who came in while I was getting a massage and speaking so loud and thinking they owned the place... and NO WORKER in the place told them to SHUT UP! It was like they were afraid to lose new customers/money.... so annoying... that was the last time I went there, but I will come back the next time I want to save some money on a massage. I would DEFINATELY recommend these people rather than "HAPPY FEET" massage a couple doors down, those people are so DISGUSTING, and even posted a sign saying "5 dollar tip MINIMUM" a tip is a tip...... you can give however you want........ It's $20 for a one hour massage. There are 3 other massage parlors in the same plaza that offer it for $15. One of which, is the same owner as this one... It's definitely smaller but the massage area is partitioned off so it's not one giant room like the other places. There aren't any doors, it's just sectioned off, and the area that I was in had 4 beds. Great place to relax! And for only 15 dollars I can see myself as a regular. The only thing that seems to bother me is the smell. If you're looking for a quality massage : DO NOT GO FOR THE LADIES. ASK FOR THE MALE. I went with my three sisters and they all got male masseuses. All three had very pleasant experiences- Completely opposite from mine. I had a woman who was young looking (looked like a student). Absolutely no pressure, did not care about the massage, kept walking in and out of the room, sometimes leaving up to 5 whole minutes at a time. I'm 21 myself and am very sensitive to a strong massage so I prefer light hands anyway but I could not feel ANYTHING with her massage. She genuinely did not care and just wanted to get it over with. When my sisters were comparing their massages, their experiences seemed completely different. My masseuse skipped many things that the males would have done. No one here except the receptionist knows English, which normally is never a problem with me .. but they didn't even know the term 'sunburn'.. After this horrible experience, upon paying, I was going to tip $3 because I felt bad, despite the horrible massage. When the receptionist saw that I was going to tip $3. She began to yell at me and tell me that $5 was the minimum tip. I told her that I was unhappy with the experience, however the receptionist insisted that it was the law to tip $5 and refused to give me my change.. This is a Great Place for full body massages. It states foot massage, fifteen dollars, but the Asian community there has the deals verses the certified masseurs. There are lots of places around there. You get the same deep tissue, medium or light pressure the way you specify. Including a hot small tub herbal foot soak. That does miracles on for your feet. I haven't been here in over a year so I decided to pay a visit. They no longer have the $15 one hour plus tip after they're done. You start off with the lowest $30 one hour plan and you have to pay up front first before they start working on you. That wasn't like that before. The girl who was working on me spent too much time on my back and very little on my arms, hands and feet. She even decided not do facial massage which they always do. Finally I realize that there is a new management since I no longer see the girl on the front desk (who spoke & understand good English) instead there's this Chinese guy in the front desk who could barely understand English. The messages were basically like body rubs, they didn't work on any of my knots or tension. I get massages pretty often. I've tried all up and down OC. My mom and I went to get massages at Kings and they told us to go upstairs. So we went at around 5:05Pm. The lady forcefully told me to take off my clothes. There wasn't any towel for me to wrap myself around which I'm used to receiving but luckily I was in a bathing suit. We started at 5:10pm with her setting down a bucket of hot water for my feet and it was scorching hot! She was already kneading into my back and I was uncomfortable so I had to finally tell her that the water was too hot. She leaves and pours cold water to make it tolerable. Find out my mom had to ask for the same thing. This lady was basically digging her elbow into my body. So I had to ask her to go softer. She left several times to get hot towels, stones, etc but took a long time fetching the things. When she came back, the next portion was always fast and furious. I thought alright, maybe she's trying to get in as much time before going overtime. She finished at 5:50pm... that was a 40 min massage for $20. I've had a lot better ones and I'm not picky with the massages because I know it's cheap but this had to be the worst experience. The only reason why I wrote a review was because my mom and I both have bruises and are sore...the next day. Oh yeah. When my mom and I both were asked to go face down, the floor was absolutely filthy. With toothpicks and garbage on the floor. It was dark but you could still see the filth. This is my first time at King Massage. It is pretty typical as far as Asian massage places go which means don't expect any privacy. You share a large dark room with a bunch of other customers which can be unsettling since some end of falling asleep during their massages and then snore their cares away. I am not a regular at Asian massage places for this reason and because they tend to give hard massages. Today was no exception. There were times during my massage that I thought my spleen was going to escape through my mouth. I swear bakers knead and treat their dough gentler and kinder. So for $15/hour, you literally get pulverized and tenderized all over. Also, I am not sure if this is supposed to feel good but I really dislike when the masseuse flicks my fingers and toes.
