This is not atypical so it wasn't a big deal but the start of the whole process felt really fast. Once in the room, the girl just started. She never asked if the pressure was ok or if there were areas that I wanted worked on. It felt like she was rubbing just to rub me down. Nothing felt intentional. Even when I mentioned that I wanted her to work on my shoulder, she went there for a stint and moved about her business to resume her normal programming. What was the most troublesome thing for me was the number of times she left the room for a variety of things. At one point, I told her that I didn't want my face and hair massaged so she went and grabbed her phone and stepped out of the room for approximately 5 minutes. She didn't seem mindful of the time that I was paying for. When it came time to tip at the end, she grabbed the cash ($10 for a $40 service) and did not say thank you or show any appreciation. The folks here didn't really seem to care about the work that they were doing. They seemed really rude and unprofessional. I love going to Asian massage places. Coco did an excellent job--my friend was very happy, and everything about her service was great. Because of that, I truly appreciate the experience my friend had. However, my experience was very different. The therapist who worked on me was too gentle and did not apply the right pressure or target the correct pressure points. I didn't feel relaxed or relieved after the massage, and it seemed like she was not fully focused during the session. When she worked on my legs, she was pressing more on the bones rather than the proper pressure points. During the neck massage, she did not seem to know the correct areas to focus on, and it actually left my neck feeling more sore afterward. Based on this experience, I would prefer to book with Coco next time. I believe this is for the staff's safety and I have no problem with it. I will warn that you can hear everything outside your room, including other staff members and patrons.

Let's start with the service itself: to get an hour and a half (90 minutes) it's supposed to be $45, I was charged over $50 and I was told that this was because "deep tissue" costs more. We showed up on time, and it was extremely busy. the lady checking us in was on the phone speaking to another customer while filling out out preference sheets and at the end after speaking to my husband, we think she may have accidently given our massues each others preferences because i had to tell my masusse to go lighter and he had to tell his to go harder. we paid 30 dollars for an hour and then 5 extra dollars for my husband to recieve more pressure (that he did not recieve). they guided us to a room that had 4 beds and oddly put us on opposite sides of the room with two empty beds in between us which later had new customers. the room was very stinky and humid. the towels they had us laying on and wiped us down with smelled absolutely terrible. they provided a free foot soak but put your feet in the warm water while you are laying on your back which puts you in an extrememly awkward and uncomfortable position. my husband and i both requested no face or head upon arrival and they still put lotion on our faces which we had to tell them to stop. my masusse hurt my knee so bad and continued to try to rub it after i told him not to. both is us did not recieve the focus massage we requested. we both left feeling worse and stinky than we came in. i will definitely not be oming back, worst massage ever.
