Recently, my daughter's dropper post imploded the day before her final race of the High School…read moreseason. Her post stopped working at a skills clinic on a Friday evening. I show up at opening on a Saturday with a tight timeline as we have to leave early that afternoon (completely unreasonable). They figured it out with what they had in stock and had us off to the venue that afternoon with working dropper post! This is just the most recent excellent service experience i've had with these guys. I've also stopped in with random issues like broken brake lever and breaking the end off a bolt from over-torquing (user error) Highly recommended these guys for servicing your bike!

They finally called back insisting on an evaluation by a special person (5days later) with a price tag of $700. They confidently stated it "needed" all new components along with the parts I requested. These guys are only capable of selling you all new parts and not interested in YOUR interest in how involved you want to upgrade your bike. Obviously I declined their expert advise and I took my bike to Community Bikes CBikes had it up and running for $80 including a new disc break and chain. They are great for buying new stuff but other than that it's a not a good use your of time.

It's enormous -- the kind of enormous where you half-expect to find a lost civilization in the camping section. And somehow they have everything. Outdoor gear, bike shop, rentals for basically any activity you've ever considered trying drunk at a party, lift ticket discounts... if it involves fresh air and mild suffering, they've got you covered. Now let's talk about the Basementeers membership, because it deserves its own paragraph. Twenty-five dollars. Once. For life. That's not a typo. For the price of a mediocre cocktail, you get 10% off forever, plus occasional 20% Friends & Family discounts. I've made worse financial decisions in the same afternoon. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and seemingly immune to the judgment you'd deserve for asking "what's the difference between hiking and walking." Basically: go. Join. Buy things. Touch grass -- they sell gear for that too.

Improvement yes! This review is about the Pre loved used gear section of the store in Santa Rosa. I…read morewould say this is for corporate, who is making the decision on the amount of credit someone receives for their trade in. I have been trading in with the Preloved department for 5 years. I like the program because the items don't end up in the landfill and someone else can use a perfectly good item. I used to love trading in and the credit was 25 to 30%, then it went to 20% then it went to 10% and now 5% for street items. I do understand camping gear is more than 5%, not much more. I would really hate to see that section go under and not be used the way it was intended, when the program was created. I imagine fewer people are bringing items when they only receive 5% on street items. I brought a street item in, which was a very nice new woman's backpack, with the tags, for $65 not including tax. I received $3.25 trade-in, that's 5%. The down grade is very disappointing. The profits could be shared, the store credit ends up going back into the store. Good luck, maintaining this section due to policies. Please reevaluate before it's too late, check for decline.
