Prices are a little higher than they are on the previous menus.

Stopped for dinner last night, but unfortunately they closed an hour early... at 7. So, lunch today. Drive thru only, and there was quite the line, but it goes fast. After you pay, you pull forward into a line, and they bring your food out to you. All of the previous posted menus are out of date, and the prices have gone up just a bit. But I am happy to pay $11 for a plate of drum with coleslaw. Especially when I get this huge drum filet, perfectly cooked!! Their tarter sauce is superb. I got the coleslaw instead of the fries, because I did not want to fill up my stomach with a bunch of starch. It was very good, but next time I will probably not get a platter, and just stuff myself with their awesome fish.

There's a reason why the line is long in their drive thru. There's a reason why the menu is simple and to the point. There's a reason why so many locals come into this place to get dinner. It's damn good. The customer service is small town excellent. The catfish is delish and it's a local gem of a place.

Excellent grilled flounder. Fried okra was the best we had so far. Great seafood place without much flair. Have to come back

Some of the best seafood in town, this group knows what they're doing. Love their flounder, it's perfection.

They served us frozen fried fish. We were so disappointed. Small, old, non fresh food. Sad.

Worst service I've ever had. Servers and cashiers were absolutely rude. Will never go here again.

Good tasting fried catfish and baked clams. Somewhat pricey. The French fries are not french fries.

It is spot on and as delicious as it was 30 years ago... That recipe never gets old! The service was amazing... Our server treated us like we were regulars, and the restaurant is just fun and beautiful. The manager saw what we had ordered and smiled ear to ear, we stopped to ask us if everything was good and we said it was fabulous! I don't think he was born when we first started ordering this dish and I'm not so sure if the chefs were either, but they did a great job! Returning to this review to update one year later. I've been to Waterstreet several times since. Always consistent, fresh, delicious. Once in a while the hostess is a bit inconsiderate, but when we return next time, they're gone... so management addresses service issues quickly.

However, the food here more than exceeded the highest of expectations. We visited with the lunch menu, started with the Blue Crab Tostadas, she ordered the French Dip, I ordered the Lamb Burger. Every bite was enjoyable. We will be back. We arrived at about 2:30 and they were just about to close the kitchen to regroup for dinner. People that came after us had to wait about an hour before the kitchen was back up. Plan accordingly. If there is one minor thing to wish were different, because it is so close to the water, every surface is sticky. It's to be expected with the humidity, but it was noticeable.

We loved the fries especially, and the mussels were delicious! The snapper dip was also very good. This place is tucked away inside of the gift shop at Harrison's Landing, so you have to look for it a bit but it's a truly great spot if you can find it. Wait staff was friendly and while service was a tiny bit slow, that was easily overcome by how good everything tasted. Plus, they only had two people working front of house when we arrived, and only a couple of seats open in the whole place, so I can't fault them for being a little slow. Overall very highly recommend and will be back!

I say that as there is a difference when you go to eat somewhere and you are hungry versus being famished. We were famished. Walking in, it reminded me of other crab shacks we have been. Nothing wrong with that. The wife is basically a mermaid so will eat any and all from the sea or ocean. I did find it interesting that there are signatures over pretty much every single surface you can find sans the tables and floor (there were even a couple on the TV screen). Too much? For me, yes. But unto each their own. Other than that, pretty cool place. Everyone was friendly. Though we were having a late dinner, there were still a a lot of dinners so service wasn't the fastest. But they were still attentive and checked on us until we got our waitress. My wife ordered a bucket with shrimp with head on, Manilla clams and calamari with 3 sauces. I got the fried half and half, shrimp and catfish but I also got an order of their special seasoning for me (which evidently includes all their seasonings) and their hushpuppies. (They are frozen but the waitress said they are good so I decided to give them a shot.) When the food arrived, it was a good amount of food. It also came really quickly. My wife barely talked for the entire meal. Other than praises on how good everything was. That is saying something. She is definitely picky with her seafood. I tried some of it and it was great. Mine hit the spot. Fried food isn't hard but it is also easily messed up, all mine tasted fresh and the batter was very tasty. No bad taste from the oil. The sauces/seasoning. That is the best thing to me. it is all in melted butter with garlic and other seasonings. They really add great flavor. Enough that we took them with us. All in all. Very happy with dinner and looking forward to our next trip there.

They came out hot, juicy, easy to peal, spicy but not the heat that makes you sweat. I was VERY pleased with the food. Beer was cold and there's a full bar. It was very casual with paper "table clothes", hand written messages spread wall to wall. The staff and guests were all very friendly. I have not a bad thing to say about this place. If you head this way, expect a wait. Thankfully we found a couple open spots at the bar and avoided the 25 minute wait. ...That's a short wait time based on other reviews.
