start from the beginning when you enter this place you feel weird. the restaurant was completely empty and there was I guess the owner and one more person who were the waiter/guard(the reason im saying that is that he had a gun on his waist very visible and somewhat disturbing as well) we sit down the owner of the restaurant approached us and offered us free bottled water (this is the time when we should have left lol) there is nothing free in life this restaurant has the most outrageous prices even for a kosher restaurant whatever you think it's expensive this place is even more expensive since we have had no choice and every other place was closed we decided to stay anyway what a mistake that was. we order the schnitzel (frozen with a side of small salad on an empty plate ) we also order pargyot(baby chicken) and the combo of meets they have I will save the world and let you see the pictures attached and for the final of this disturbing fiasco the bill came(also attached in the pictures) if you keep kosher please make sure to plan in advance your next stay in sin city

Nice nice place. Gooooood food! Kosher place. The food was fresh and tasty. The service is grate. The price was ok. Not chip. ( but worth it. ) Very recommended Fred

This is our receipt from the restaurant. They should have more than $$ next to price. This was lunch. Also I see many reviews with 5 stars but without specifics which makes me think they have fake reviews. The problem is - we came to lunch here based on those reviews and got burned. Just want to warn other people.

They offer things like falafels, shawarma, beef kabobs, schnitzel, and hummus. You can order things in pitas, baguettes, or platters. We shared a three meat plate (steak, beef kabob, chicken thigh). with 1/2 rice and 1/2 fries. They started us off with NINE salads and dips and baked in house pita breads. Everything was very fresh and well seasoned. The pitas weren't the fluffy type but were better than a lot of others out there. What really stands out here are the meats. They were all deeply flavored and very juicy. The fries were unusually good. We also tried some falafels. They were the golden style that I never had before. They were slightly herby with crispy exteriors. The three meat plate is more than what most couples can eat and you will probably bring home some leftovers. This Mediterranean might not be for everyone because it is Kosher and Kosher Meats on average do cost three times more than non Kosher because a lot goes into it to make it that way. So they must charge more than a non-kosher restaurant. But in the end you can sure taste the difference.

When we walked in We were greeted warmly and offered some chicken schwarma. It was good but a little salty for me. We ordered the kebab plate. It comes with 4 kebabs ( ground beef with herbs and spices) and either fries or rice, we got half fries and half rice. The plates come with salads and pickles and hummus and tahini. Not sure why, but Israeli hummus is ALWAYS better than what I buy at the grocery store and this hummus was no exception- absolutely delicious. There is a tomato salad with hot peppers- I avoided to peppers and the tomatoes in Dressing were terrific. I loved the carrot salad- it was fantastic. There were also a chopped cabbage salad, tahini and some others for a total of 8 dishes. ( See photo) The kebabs were very good, just a tad over salted for me, not an unusual comment from me, though. The pitas were large, fluffy and delish. So much food! We both ate lunch and had left overs for the next day! The guys at the counter are friendly and offered more Carrot salad when I told him that I loved it. That's a nice gesture. Got a bottle of Israeli grapefruit juice and I must say, it was terrific too. I am looking forward to getting back to Tikva's Grill next time I visit. Do your tastebuds a favor and try this restaurant soon.

I attend college in Detroit where I had my Middle Eastern food intro. This place is big enough to host a nice gathering but small enough to still be intimate. The rotisserie chicken smells delicious. My wife and I placed our order with the woman behind the counter, which was two falafel wraps and an order of fries. Our friends ordered the same thing. The woman told our friends (but not us) that it was going to take 17 minutes to get our food with no explanation which was bizarre considering it wasn't busy at all. Their POS was broken (which they did not tell us, we figured it out ourselves) so we had to wait to pay, and even after we waited for ten minutes and finally paid, we still had to wait almost ten more minutes for our food to come out. Mind you there were four people working behind the counter. When our food came, we were immediately disappointed. They forgot an order of fries, so we had to wait once again. Not only were the wraps small-ish, they were made terribly. The falafel "wrap" was shaped more like a cube than anything. The ingredients were distributed unevenly, to the point where some bites would be all cabbage or all carrot with nothing else. The wrap was folded over so many times it was falling apart and it became impossible to eat. The tahini sauce was a bit bland, too. Staff need to be trained. It's clear they do not know how to properly make the food they serve. We won't be returning.

One of the things that we really appreciate is the dill pickle spear that we get with each of our sandwich orders. Having that pickle on the side really makes the order feel complete. It's like having a burger and fries or chips and a sandwich. At the deli, you expect the pickle with your sandwich. This was not the case the last time that we ordered food from here. We stopped in on Mother's Day. We ordered our sandwiches. Everything seemed fine. Our sandwich containers got pushed along the line and when they were ready, they called our name. Simple right? No. Not exactly. The cashiers were quick to take our money and we were just as quick to bring our sandwich back, upset and disgruntled. We felt gypped. None of us got pickles. We didn't know why. The hubby was upset! He went to the cashier to complain. He told them that he would like to be refunded his tip, simply for the fact that they never mentioned the fact that there were no pickles available today. He was not asking for a refund on his sandwich. He just thought that they could've pasted a bit better discretion and making sure that all of the customers there knew that there were no available for Sandwiches today. I can't even tell you how upset he was. Like I said, I know it seems like a silly thing, but it's like missing the fries to your burger or the chips to your sandwich. The whole entire sandwich felt incomplete!!! So like I said, a refund for the tip was requested. Instead, the cashier ended up refunding the entire cost of one of the sandwiches. We tried to compromise with the deli, asking that maybe we buy a side of potato salad, but instead because of the problem with the pickle being unavailable, maybe they only charge half of the regular price of that sign. We're trying to upsell ourselves. Not Conley. The cashier didn't say anything. She just had a crunching. She didn't make eye contact. She never said sorry. She just went ahead to refund the cost of no one and that wasn't. Now, granted that was still a good amount, but the whole ordeal really so simple to dissolve. We were really disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm in the cashier trust us. We were also even more upset with the fact that the deli wouldn't let people know ahead of their ordering that there were no pickles. The hubby suggested that maybe they put out a sign saying that there were no pickles available today. One of the employees said, "oh no, we can't do that!!" I have a feeling they were worrying about the pickle situation and announcing it because then people would turn away from the restaurant. But, I understand that. For some people, a pickle is serious business. I know it seems crazy but at the same time. I get it. There's plenty of ample seating in and outside of the deli. It's always fun to sit there with people watch. Sometimes the line at the deli is exceedingly long, but don't be discouraged. Unless of course they're out of pickles, the line moves pretty quickly. Hopefully the next time that we pay this deli a visit, the pickle situation will have been resolved.
