well where do i begin....... this place is a joke haha if you ever have the time go to a different store customer service is the worst the management is not good at all they need to step up their game i had an associate looking for a member of management for 30 min and could not find one and its 5:30 in the afternoon and not a manger in site i had to walk the store for 15 min to find anyone if you ever shop at this store you are wasting your time and money and product is over priced product is always messed up and i see the conditioners working and they are working hard but they cant do it by them self and when the isle is done it looks amazing and then costumers come and destroy the isle before the mangers can look at it and give them credit i guess if you want bad customer service go to this store you will be sorry.......................... good luck and wish you the best............. read more

This store is in need of expansion. Seems every time I come here the aisles are packed with boxes that are being unloaded or left in front of items you are trying to get too. They just did a small remodel so likely will not get expanded but it really needs to be with all the people moving into this area. Actually an additional grocery store would-be better read more

Two big problems for me. One is no more 24 hour Kings in the area. I like shopping when the store is sparsely populated by other shoppers. The second is they only had self checkout lines open at closing time, with plenty of employees milling around Saturday night 5/13. I don't care if it takes them 20 minutes longer to count the drawer, it's a disservice to the consumer, especially if someone had a big cartful. This was exacerbated by the rush of an impending closing store, though this didn't stop a few people from walking in at 11:58 as I was exiting. Just a staggering amount of unawareness/hubris bubbling over in these types of folks who enter a business right at closing time. We should be better than this, humanity. Selection of groceries & store layout was fine, my two main gripes have been detailed above. read more

The store's employees are generally friendly and the store does seem well-managed. The selection of organic produce is less than stellar, though, and as a general rule you are not going to find much of a choice when it comes to food that does not contain harmful additives like high fructose corn syrup and the like. The store also needs to carry more "no-salt-added" staples such as tomato sauces, beans, and the like. I also have been bothered by the tendency of employees to smoke in front of the store while on their break. Colorado law forbids it, I think, and in any event the experience of walking toward the front entrance while passing people who are engaging in such a disgusting habit makes a terrible impression. King Soopers can surely tell employees that smoking on the premises is not only unlawful, if within a certain distance of the entry or by minors, but also that it reflects poorly on the business. There is a table on the south side of the store's exterior, near the southeast corner of the building, that is frequently littered, as is the ground under and near it. This, too, makes a terrible impression as it indicates little regard for the aesthetic appearance of the store's surroundings and a failure to recognize that the area's usual wind will blow that trash all over the parking lot and surrounding land. The parking lot at this store is also dangerous. Many visitors drive through it at high speed and there is no signage warning drivers that pedestrians are moving through the lot on the way to or from the store, including children. In addition, the exit onto Ridge Road at the south border of the store property has no traffic light, which frequently causes a significant risk of collisions as visitors to the store try to get into or out of the parking lot via that access point. read more

King Soopers has what some other shops around town do not... specifically my wife's unique... um... lady business items?... It may not be the cheapest, but they do have great deals on a lot of items, and wonderful looking produce. My wife constantly makes fun of my for "not eating my vegetables" so that is why I said their produce "looks" nice, I imagine it's quite tasty to eat as it is to look at. The deli, bakery, pharmacy, coffee shop inside makes this Kings a great experience. Extremely friendly staff as well. I'm a huge fan of Kings! read more

I have long been dissatisfied with my local King Soopers. I live in Founders and am a senior citizen, therefore, it is convenient and that was the only reason I purchased groceries there. Customers beware! Last night I purchased a few items and was charged $77. Upon my arrival home after a long week I realized that it was impossible that the few items I purchased could be $77. I reviewed the receipt and discovered that I was charged for 22 items. In fact, I had purchased 12 items and the total was $45. I called the store and informed them. Then went back out and met with the night manager who could not figure out what happened. As I was speaking with her a couple came up behind me at the counter with the same issue If you are like me, I do not normally go over my grocery receipt, but have often commented, how could this amount of food cost this much?! Now I wonder how often in the past I was over charged. I was reimbursed the difference, but asked that the day manager call me to explain what occurred since the night manager couldn't figure it out. No call. This did not surprise me as I've been told from employees that employee morale is low (something I've often noticed) due to poor management. read more

I'd give a zero review if possible. Spoke to the Pharmacy Manager Michael around noon about transferring my pain prescription to this stores as my regular pharmacy was out of stock and I am in extreme pain. He said that King Soopers policy is 24 hours on transfers and the soonest he could get the prescription filled was by the end of day, even though they have plenty on their shelves. I asked Michael if he could help me out and get filled sooner as my knee is in a lot of pain. He said that is policy and if he helped me, a KING SOOPER CUSTOMER, he'd have to do it for other customers, after all anyone can call and claim to be in extreme pain. All I can say to Michael is I hope you never need someone to go out of their way, beyond policy, to help you out!!! This King Soopers will never get another dollar from me or mine. I love this king soopers! Everything is well stocked, clean, and they have fast and friendly staff at check out. I am always greeted and asked if I need help if I run across a staff member in the aisles. read more

Bought some soup today and just happened to turn it over while putting the groceries away and realized that out of the three I purchased, two expired in June 2015 and the other expired in July 2014......unacceptable. I will no longer shop at this location. read more

The Pharmacy is awful! Poor customer service, told me they were to busy to fill a prescription, I have called and they were not helpful. The person who runs the department has a large poster picture of herself standing outside the entrance. We have had words and she is very difficult to speak with and a challenge to work with, she thinks she is the doctor and told me she decides what scripts I get and when and not my doctor, She thinks that she is the Queen and will argue and fight with you. I have spoken to my doctor and they think she is not quite right, I have been a loyal customer to King Soopers for years and have used the Highlands Ranch one for over 25 year with never a problem like the last time they told me a script was ready and when i got there it wasn't and they said come back the next day or over the weekend. They wont honor automatic renewals and challenge every time I go there like they have power over me. Big Chain but a small town feel. Everyone is so friendly not to mention it had red box and a gas station on site. Clean aisles, fast service and always stocked. Love This store! read more

This use to be a really good king soopers until they started closing at 12 am and reopening at 5 am, now if I want to make a snack run at 1 in the morning I have to drive 15 more to Walmart and deal with the walmartions, it's still a good place with a few ok employees but most are just unenthusiastic and rather rude to the customers. What ever happened to the customers alway come first I don't know. read more

I have had nothing but issues with this store and it's management team. They seem to have no idea of how to run a retail grocery store. I'm surprised they even know how to turn on the lights.......oh yeah, the lights don't shut off since it's 24hrs. Lucky break for them. My advice, pick another store or better yet....go to walmart, they treat their employees better ( and that's not saying much). read more

Amazing & super friendly staff. I was very impressed by the cake I specialty ordered. They did a phenomenal job!!! Another thing to note is the great meat & produce departments. Hands down, they provide the best selection in the Castle Rock area. read more
