I went to Seven Seas Mediterranean Seafood yesterday and had a bad experience. I ordered the…read morebranzino, which I've had before and it was delicious. This time, I confirmed with the waitress how it would be prepared, but what came out was completely different, filleted with a tomato based sauce, peppers, and onions. I told them that was not what we discussed and made it clear I'm allergic to tomatoes. I was told it wouldn't be a problem to make the fish I actually requested. Instead of remaking the dish, they took the same fish back, removed the toppings, left the tomato residue and brought it back out with the same side; including cold rice. After I clearly stated an allergy, serving the same fish with the tomato residue is unacceptable. This was careless and disappointing. If a customer mentions a food allergy, the dish should be remade, not modified and sent back out.

Cafeteria-style plating, paper napkins, and very casual service were paired with menu descriptions and pricing that suggest something far more refined. The food itself was consistently off. Several dishes arrived lukewarm. The scallops were drenched in butter but never actually seared. The spinach had no salt. My husband's risotto was cold and dry, which is impressive for a dish meant to be creamy. The soup was described as a bisque. What arrived was a clear-broth fish stew with chunks of seafood. Not inherently bad, just absolutely not a bisque. Words matter. To be fair, the staff was kind and the kitchen did remake dishes when we raised concerns. We took the leftovers only because we felt awkward leaving nearly untouched plates behind, even though the remade food was still not good. Final note. We left the leftovers in the car briefly while running an errand and came back to a car that smelled strongly of rancid fish, despite it being 26 degrees outside. I truly do not understand the five-star hype. This meal did not miss by a little. It missed at a fundamental level.

From the street it has a really cool look and the inside leans into an industrial style with a great aesthetic. It's a comfortable space with a nice vibe. We ordered a couple of cocktails: a lemon drop and a Manhattan. Strategically we decided to split a Detroit-style pizza called the Iron Pig. Good call because one square was the perfect amount for dinner. And now we have a few meals to heat up for the next few days. The drinks were excellent and the pizza was outstanding. Great flavor. Our server Ally was welcoming and friendly and top notch on service. It is the middle of winter so we weren't considering outside dining, but they have a great outdoor space near the street. Looks like a fun place to hang out. It's definitely a place we'd consider visiting again.

They don't have server tunnel vision, they work as a team and it shows! The vibes are so cool here. I mean, if you're gonna open a cafe next to a scrap yard, you have to lean in to the theming. I love the vibes, I love the appearance. The food is amazing top to bottom. First, their coffee drinks are always spot hitting, partly due to the fact that they roast their own coffee beans on site. The cocktail menu is always enticing an even though I'm not a huge drinker, I'll be working my way around this. The breakfast options are plenty and if you don't get their bacon you are missing out! The lunch sandwiches are served on a house made ciabatta style bread. Packed with fresh meats, cheeses and veggies. Every ingredient is perfectly seasoned and added delicately, not just items slapped on a roll. The Detroit pizza is what initially drew me in. While they have some options with more toppings, I'd say go for some of the more simple Detroit pies to really allow the famous crust to really shine through. My personal favorite so far is the white pie they do with roasted portobello mushrooms. I have only been for breakfast and lunch but with all the craft beer options I need to go back for dinner to sit and relax with some friends and family!

First time here. Decor is nice. There is parking across the street…read more The food was good. We got the popcorn chicken. It was a bit too salty but if you dipped it in the spicy mayo sauce, it helped with the saltiness. We also got the combo skewer - the menu lists mini sausage and the order did not come with it. When we asked the server, he said it was replaced by the steak. The menu did have the steak listed so that didn't make sense. We also ordered ramen. I got the seafood ramen. It was good and not as salty as other places. The egg was cold so you need to submerge it in the soup to get it to room temp. They seem a bit understaffed. We came on a Friday night and there were only 2 servers who were also manning the bar and taking care of takeout orders. They give you tokens for the claw machine when you get your check which is nice. Not sure if this is an everyday thing or a promo. We unfortunately didn't win anything from the machine. Overall pricing was good for the food. I would definitely come back.

My daughter ordered the ramen, egg, and popcorn chicken; but only got the egg and ramen - we didn't realize until she was almost done that we didn't get what we ordered lol. At least they didn't charge us My husband ordered the short ribs and they were tasty. I ordered the salmon ramen and it was... meh. The eggs were cold and hard boiled (you can see the yolk in the pic... hard and yellow...) and the salmon was way overcooked. Our appetizer was the scallion pancake which was actually really good. I also liked that they have a pretty solid kids menu with several choices. We live so close to a much better ramen place so we will likely not be returning. Hopefully they improve!
