Still good after all these years! Consistently good food, take out or delivery, masks are worn and partitions are up for protection. The friend chicken wings were tender, the rice noodles rocked, both kinds, flat and thin. A local family-owned small business! Yum!

Terrible customer service. I ordered scallion pancakes, and from the picture you can clearly see they are burned. And it was tough to eat. I brought it back to the restaurant and asked for a new order and the lady at the front kept saying this is how it's supposed to look. She then picked out one or two good pieces and asked if these were burned as a means of justifying the dish. She refused to admit the mistake. I've been here a few times before and ordered scallion pancakes and never had them burned before so I know what it's supposed to look like. Will NOT be returning to this restaurant. Willis Ave has another Chinese restaurant with similar food.

This restaurant is always clean, and the retro, eclectic décor gives it a lot of character. The service has consistently been excellent. We never have to ask for anything beyond placing our order because our server always anticipates what we need, and every member of the staff has been friendly and polite. As for the food, this is easily the best American-Chinese restaurant I've had on Long Island. Our favorites are the General Tso's chicken, which is perfectly crispy and coated in just the right amount of sauce, the crab rangoons, which are generously filled with crab and cream cheese, and the house fried rice, loaded with a great mix of proteins and plenty of egg. If you haven't been here yet, I'd absolutely recommend giving it a try. I'd put much more weight on your own experience than on a handful of reviews that seem wildly out of step with what we've experienced.

They have a full bar and a very extensive menu. Everything is well prepared, fresh, and not oily as some of those dishes tend to be at some places. We had bean curd and vegetables, sesame chicken, vegetable rice, and chicken and shrimp. My family found it all very delicious. We will definitely be back!

Dimsum is adequate. Not as good as the dimsum place in Flushing, but not horrible. The taro crescent is good. Raddish cake is also good along with the young chow fried rice. My favorites are the dim sum dishes of beef or pork rice rolls ,rib tips ,and the beef chow fun is amazingly delicious. They have a greater choice of Dim Sum dishes brought to you in carts only on weekends. But you can still get some dishes during the week. The interior is very spacious and makes you feel You are actually in Hong Kong. They have a big party room in the rear that sits 100 guests. With a full bar just outside of the room. And also another bar near the main entrance . (Both not sit down bars) And inside main areas can sit another approximately 150 to 200 guests. Their is decent amount of parking out front with a designated handi cap spot to the left of lot with a ramp and parking to the side and to the rear of the restaurant. What I love about this place is the window space .Lets in plenty of light to compliment the nice lighting inside. This is the place to go if you crave authentic Cantonese dishes. Without having to trek to Flushing or Bayside. You can't go wrong.

Most of the take-outs are good, with their own little spin, but I wanted and need more than just 'good' food. While it loked like your typical take-out shop from the outside, it was a very spacious restaurant inside. This shop is also very conveniently located in the H & M Mart shopping center. Very easy in and out off Hillside Avenue with plenty of available parking. I found "Happy Garden" not far from me and thought I'd give it a spin. My usual meal of Wonton-Egg drop mix and Roast Pork Egg Foo Young. Food was very good and very tasty. I enjoyed the soup and the Egg Foo Young. What they did differently here was to serve it with the sauce already on it. I am used to puring on myself for a little more control on my food. I would definitely return and would like some other dishes here. KUDOs to the team at Happy Garden.

A MUST HAVE PLACE AND DEFINITELY DINE IN FOR SURE TO GET MORE OF THE EXPERIENCE. Everything was so delicious. I had leftovers which I ate for breakfast today. Ate some of the Pu Pu Platter as snack and some of the lunch special about 30mins ago. And I'm having the rest as my late dinner. The words that come to mind on their dishes are DELICIOUS, FRESH, TENDER, CRISPY, MOIST and JUICY. At Happy Garden the prices are very reasonable and great portion size. Lunch specials are amazing. Lunch just for me I ordered a 3 lunch specials, 1 appetizer and 1 main dish. Add veggies for a couple xtra dollars to the fried rice. It's worth it. Fresh and hand cut veggies. The pork in the pork fried rice you get in every bite. All dishes are delivered hot that's why I always keep tipped 20%. * Lunch Special: BBQ Ribs with pork fried rice and hot&sour soup. Ribs are moist, sweet and juicy. Hot&Sour Soup has the perfect amount of variety of veggies, broth and just delicious. * Lunch Special: Fried Chicken Wings with pork fried rice and Wonton soup. 4 pieces of whole perfectly fried chicken wings. Crispy crunch, moist, juicy and flavorful. Wonton Soup was just perfect. Wonton thickness, fillings and broth was delicious. * Lunch Special: Beef mixed veggies with pork fried rice and egg drop soup. Great portion of thick sliced seasoned Beef which was so tender and flavorful. Hand cut veggies (cut baby corn, whole red peppers, broccoli, sliced mushrooms, celery, onions and carrots). * Pu Pu Platter. I was so shocked they had Pu Pu Platter. (2 Ribs, 2 Beef sticks, 2 Spring Rolls, 2 Large Shrimp Tempura, 2 Crab Rangoon and Shrimp Toast served on a bed a salad) 100 PERFECTION ON ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. All the textures and flavors you can imagine. TENDERNESS, CRISPY, MOIST, CRUNCHY and JUICY. * Singapore Noodles. You got a mixed of meat here. Chicken, pork and shrimp then the noodles and veggies. I'm telling you. So delicious and absolute perfection. The noodles were cooked just rice. Curry not over powering and everything was just so delicious.
