Have used Kinco as my go-to AC service for 20+ years. I have ALWAYS had a good experience - they have always been straight shooters and provided excellent service at a reasonable price - until now. Needed a condenser fan motor - The tech quoted over $770. I was in a bind and I trusted them, so I gave him the go-ahead. Then checked the retail price for that motor - it is $100 !!! Called their office and asked what the price should be - was told they would call me back. A few minutes later the tech got a call. I'm pretty sure they asked the tech how much he quoted me. Then I get a call from the office telling me the same price. Then I checked other HVAC companies for their price for the motor - installed. The HIGHEST price I got was $550. The prices ranged from $250-$550, so I really feel like they gave me the shaft this time. I really feel their integrity has packed up and left. I doubt I will ever use them again - I can't trust them anymore. read more

I had them out a month ago and was told I needed refrigerant and they inspected the unit and I was told no further service was needed. Within a month I was having issues again and had to pay to have someone else come out. They informed me I had a massive leak which was completely obvious in photos and the unit actually needs to be replaced. I feel like Kingco let me down and wasted my money. We LOVE KingCo. We've used them for idk 15+ years (probably longer). They have never disappointed. Of course it seems like something goes wrong at the worst times. We've been so fortunate that they have always been able to help asap. They are the most honest, fair pricing we've seen. We've tried at times to go through our home warranty and the companies that have come always give you a list of what you need and how much of it you need. We've always ended up calling KingCo after and they of course tell us none of that was necessary & fixed it for a fraction of the price. We've recommended them as much as we can and our friends report back exactly our same experience. There's been times we have thought maybe we should do a certain service & they've been so honest to say "we can definitely do that but you don't need that" ?! Who turns down money when we are requesting?! We appreciate any business that is truthful and it's a wonderful thing to have a business that you can trust, especially when you live in such a hot place and an air conditioning unit is an absolute must! We also are not knowledgeable on things when it comes to a/c stuff so when you have companies tell you something you need you want to trust them. Nick was fantastic! He looked at the entire house and was not just selling AC units to us. We bought the house 6 years ago and it was built in 2001. There were some hot spots in the house in the summer and cold spots in the winter. He added some vents and deleted some vents. Nick did not suggest any AC unit until he knew our household activities. Then he recommended a couple of units. To my surprise, they were in the middle price range. He said not to waste your money on the more expensive units. Everyone was on time and considerate. Kingco Enterprises has been my go-to AC company for many years. They replaced my original unit in 2011 due to age & recent storm damage. They did a great job on the installation of my new unit and subsequent followups annually for maintenance. Two months ago, end of July, I came home to a hot & humid house at 2 in the afternoon. I called Michelle at Kingco and within a couple hours the service manager, Michael was at my door! After diagnosing the problem, he was able to get the unit going temporarily and said my unit would need to be replaced. 2 days later the installation crew arrived at 7 AM and by 9 AM I was enjoying cool air once again! This company is exceptional in every way! The office staff, the crew, the technicians and Nick King, the owner, go above & beyond to provide excellent service. Over the years they consistantly proved how valuable they all are! They are an excellent company that always puts the customer first!! Do not use Kingco, I just paid $385.00 for an A/C service-check over, no problems found had "coil cleaned" the service was $110.00 the coil cleaning was $275.00, the tech was here for only 1.5 hours. I called 3 of the top A/C companies in Phoenix and they all charge far less. Rates varied from as low as $80 for everything to a high of $120-160 for the same service. I called Kingco and the service manager said sorry nothing I can do for you. So I'm the sucker. read more
