DO NOT USE! SAMERS TO YOUR HOME WARRANTIES AND HOME OWNERS!!!! These guys are the worst! I've been out of AC on past of my house for a month. They were given just under $3000 form my home warranty put want me to pay an additional $925 for a cleaning and repair one copper line. The clean was optional for $475. Once I told them I didn't want that additional money they took the rest and dropped me without any services done. Do your research and read the reviews. They are all the same!!! read more

My AC started pouring water inside my condo. First it was a little drip and then it turned into streams of water onto my wood flooring!! I called the home warranty company and was lucky enough to have Mary Boyan Slakey from Fidelity National Home Warranty! This amazing woman jumped into action! She called Red Wolfe Mechanical and offered me 3 dates/times to get them over SOON! Red Wolfe was also absolutely amazing to work with. They were on time and my AC was fixed immediately! My home warranty contracted with this company to fix our AC. They fixed the AC but it quit again after less than 24 hours. I tried several times to contact James via phone calls and texts. It didn't take them a long time to figured out the issue with my air conditioning unit. My AC get fixed quickly and immediately I can feel the cold air coming out through my vent, what a relief. Wow! Day 3 of no response, no one fixing my AC. Really horrific experience. Run away from this company! The guy (who was probably around 18 years old) actually showed up at my home and acted like he had no idea how to do anything HVAC related or maybe he was brand new. He said, "I have to have my manager, James come help me." He did not look at my AC or anything! Then I called his manager, who said he would come over the next day. Then the next day, I talked to the manager, James twice and he said he was too busy to come over! What? Ok, so I understand why you have such a low Yelp rating. I never write bad reviews unless it's beyond warranted and this is beyond warranted. I truly dislike writing bad reviews, however this is well deserved. No benefit received. No work completed. Never done later. No refund received. They took my money and didn't even do the job let alone LOOK at my AC! read more

I was sent to this HVAC company by my home warranty. They completely ripped me off. I needed to have my wiring replaced from my thermostat to the HVAC which warranty was covering. To replace the wires the owner stated they needed to move our HVAC unit and that would be an additional $450 for 4 1/2 hours of labor not covered by warranty which I agreed too. When they came to do the work they ended up just opening up one of our ducts and splicing and replacing the wires that way which only took 1.5-2 hours total. They forced me to still pay the full $450 before they would leave my home. They have refused to give me an invoice showing what I was being charged the $450 for. I am fighting with the home warranty to try and help get some of my money back. BE WARE! James is a crook and just rips you off. My HVAC wires were still not replaced correctly and I'm out $450. read more

Very unprofessional, a company that tries to scam you without any qualms!! Our AC was not blowing any cool air so Red Wolf was sent out by the warranty company. Two young kids show up and after 10 min of looking at the A/C tell us the compressor is dead and needs to be replaced. After 4 days the report is sent to the warranty company. But........ they have added on 600+$ uncovered expenses to clean the unit and modify copper piping. So the order is placed on hold by the warranty company. When I called Red Wolf to enquire why the extra work, I was told by the owner James "If you want the compressor replaced" then agree to the costs. Now, please note, James never came to my house to look at the unit or send me pictures to explain why the extra work was needed. The units were all serviced 7 months ago. So we refused to pay and paid another trade call fee to have a different company come out to find out what is wrong with the unit. Turns out to be a minor problem with a corroded wire and a capacitor that was going bad. An hour later house is cooling down very nicely. Shame of you James and team at Red Wolf Mechanical, trying to take advantage of people suffering in this AZ heat. We will never allow warranty company to assign another service call to this company. read more

Three other companies have assessed my AC issue that Red Wolf company blamed on dirty coils and all three have said coils are clean and it was low on refrigerant due to a leak and compressor was disconnected. Further proof that Red Wolf in my opinion is a scam. Please beware!! Not worth the stress. read more

Strongly advise not even attempting to use this company. Unprofessional. Doesn't provide a full invoice with what they're doing. Male Owner gets on the phone to argue and yell at potential customers. Refuses to do any work without full payment in advance. This company are crooks. Being a small business owner myself I'm very disappointed.My home warranty company send these guys to me to service my AC unit because every few days my pipes started to freeze and the unit would not cool off the house until we turned it off and let the pipes defrost. These guys charged my unit with refrigerant and told me my coils will also need to be cleaned which would cost $300. We made an appointment to have the coils cleaned and after they cleaned them they told me my unit is fine and there is no further issues. My house is still not being cooled and the temperature doesn't even go down a single degree. They sent a report to my home warranty stating that there are no issues. I contacted the warranty company and they told me there is nothing they can do at this time because the report they got from red Woolf stated the unit is working fine meanwhile my house is in the 80s and it's set to 74. I called another company to get a second opinion who found sever issues with my unit. Bad compressor, problems with fan motor, and incorrect pressures. They told me that who ever serviced my AC over charged it and that may have caused damage to my compressor so now it's not pumping correctly. I contacted the owner James and told him what the other company found and have it in writing and he not only bad mouthed the other companies technicians and claimed that they don't know what they are doing but he refused to help me and acknowledge that his techs messed up. "It's out of my hands now" what he told me since you went to another company for a second opinion is what he told me. Now I need to come out of pocket for thousands of dollars to get this fixed. read more

Awful customer service. Our Air conditioner went out Sunday. Our warranty company set us up with this company. Of course they are closed on Sunday with no emergency contact. We are in an excessive heat warning with temps over 110 and he won't even return a phone call. Called again Wednesday, no response. Called again Friday, no response. Requested another contractor from our warranty company on Saturday. Would never give this company an opportunity to work for us. read more

I was so impressed, With them showing up when they said they would, Doing the job even better then my expectations and their pricing that I decided to hire them again for a no cooling call! I had this company come out and repair an issue under a home warranty. They did repair the issue and all was fine. Then I reached out to them 5 months later with another issue. I was contacted by "James" and we texted back an forth working to set up a day and time to come out. Finally, I told James a couple days/times that worked for me and all of the sudden "James" fell off the radar. No longer calling back, emailing back or texting. Horrible customer service and absolutely disgraceful that they just stop all communications and don't wanna talk. My feeling is that they might be thinking the current issue I have is tied to what they came out and repaired 5 months ago and are worried it is going to cost them money. I am happy to say, another more reliable HVAC company called M&R Refridgeration came out and diagnoised the issue and it had nothing to do with the work that Red Wolf did. If you read these reviews before you get service, stay away from them. Horrible, Horrible company. read more
