5 stars - I do not give them out too often. The team here tonight earned 5 in every category. We had a reservation at 5:45pm and were seated on time. I was able to get a space in the parking lot, it was pretty full. The hostess was friendly and pleasant. Our waitress Taylor greeted us in short order and took our drink order. The dining area we were in was vibrant and nearly full. When she came back we ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms. They were hot when they arrived, very tasty and filling. Next she had the pontchatrain entree, I had the andouille encrusted fish. Both came with side salads and a side. She had the roasted cauliflower and i had the hush puppies. These were both excellent meals. Cooked to perfection and more than either of us could eat. This was a great evening. We will return.

An astonishing seafood journey. We came in to an environment that was clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless but let's talk food and service. JJ was our server and he was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. He took great care of us and had good recommendations for food. Now.. speaking of food, Oh. My. Goodness. I'm from the South and have eaten a lot of Cajun food, and nothing here disappointed. We started with artichoke dip with fried bowtie pasta and it reinvented good artichoke dip for me. I had the 1/2 drum on the shell. It was beautifully cooked and seasoned. A little zesty but not really spicy. Red beans and rice that came with it were good and the bowl of seafood gumbo I got was about the best you can get outside of Louisiana. My partner got shrimp and grits and thoroughly enjoyed it. The grits come in a fried ball but you can mash it down and it works much like normal shrimp and grits. The sauce though.. was fantastic. It was rich with hints of crayfish. All in all, great experience!

For our last night in the area, we decided on this place Saturday night. We got reservations as there were 6 in our group. We got seated in a booth in the bar area. We started with appetizers of Boudin Egg Rolls, Fried Alligator and Sautéed Crab Fingers. For dinner, I had the Large Seafood Gumbo and my wife had the Crawfish Etouffe. All our food was excellent. The only issue I heard from our group was they thought the Shrimp & Grits were very salty. Our waitress was top notch and took care of us.

We stopped by this afternoon after a visit to the pier for a walk on this beautiful day. I wanted a mocktail and to be able to sit outside and watch the traffic. We were greeted by warm young lady with a beautiful smile and she immediately filled my request for outdoor seating. Our server was very helpful in helping us decide upon our drink selection. I had the cranberry spritz and I would have it again and I my friend had the Dr Juice and it was absolutely amazing!!! I don't even drink beer and it smelled like fruit and tasted awesome. He was very impressed with our server's suggestion! He will have it again here and anywhere else they serve it in Baldwin County. We shared the chicken salad and he and I both agreed it is better than Chicken Salad Chick. The croissant was fresh along with the trimmings. The crab fingers never disappoint. We are always happy with our visit here.

We went to Kingfisher's for dinner, and really wanted to sit in the bar, but we ended up sitting at a table. The ambiance is fantastic and our waitress was on point. We started out with the Boudin Eggrolls and Crab Soup. Both were delicious. For our entree, we ordered The Pontchartrain with a salad with ranch and a loaded Suffed Potato. All was very well prepared and delicious. With high quality food and great service, it was a very nice culinary experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This location has wonderful staff who are friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We loved the atmosphere and it is great that both indoor and outdoor seating are available! The food was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Reservations are available and there is parking lot for convenient parking. Will definitely be back to try more delicious items from the menu!

Walked in, place was clean, friendly and welcoming. Taylor was our waitress and she was fantastic! Very patient as we stumbled through our drink order, and checked on us often. This is our new favorite place in Fairhope. I understand that it is a sister restaurant to the chimes which Is a Louisiana based restaurant. Fried shrimp platter with a side of jambalaya was really tasty. We also had the crawfish étouffée which was delicious, and the roast beef poboy also a fan favorite. We will try to get back here this week

A group of friends enjoyed dinner tonight at Kingfisher. This was my first dining experience here and it did not disappoint. We were seated on the outside deck which was beautifully decorated with party lights and the temperature was perfect. I enjoyed the fried shrimp platter with sides of coleslaw and sweet potato mash. The platter also included French fries and hush puppies. Loved the added peanuts and ramen noodles in the coleslaw! Yum!! Excited to go back and try the crab and Brie soup.

Love the atmosphere here! Clean decor with indoor and outdoor seating. The room we weee in had the doors open to the outside which was wonderful and refreshing on the nice Spring day. Staff was very attentive and the food was good with just a few minor complaints based on our preference. The flavor of the boudin egg rolls were good, but the filling was a little mushy. They were a little skimpy on dishes that came with a sauce or dressing. Otherwise the food was delicious and well prepared. The jambalaya was the closest I've found in this area to the Gonzalez style that we like from Louisiana, so was excited about that!

We came through Fairhope to have an early dinner and were in the mood for seafood. We came to Kingfisher and the setting of the restaurant and the ambiance are so pleasant and peaceful - fantastic location. Server was A+ and she did a great job - coming to see if we needed anything but not overbearing! We got the salmon dinner and the seafood pasta and both were incredibly delicious and included a simple and fresh garden salad. We also got one run cocktail and a bottle of wine, a yummy bread pudding dessert and a cup of coffee. Everything was under $100... I was incredibly impressed and will definitely be back again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

What an amazing place. From the old oak trees and landscape to the nicely renovated building. The inside is well decorated. Casual to fine dining. The food we ordered was amazing. The service was professional and always with a smile. Oh yes, I will be back...

Went for Valentine's Day, had reservations so we were seated quickly. We ordered a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced. The food was really good and nice sized portions. Nice clean restaurant, will definitely return..

I have decided that in the future my wife and I will have to split the meal. We have had the stuffed shrimp, drum, and many other offerings. Service is pretty good when it is not crowded. Can be a little slower when crowds are large and it can also be noisy at times. Outdoor seating is ok but can be hot during the summer. I highly recommend this restaurant when I'm Fairhope. It has become one of our favorites.

This was not a hard and solid decision on my part. Instead I had decided that if I had my druthers, I would not eat there. Of course when it is my babécita's birthday my druthers were of no consideration and I found myself again at Tamara's for a Saturday brunch. We arrived to find the main dinning area to be full, and since we didn't feel like eating in the open to the outside area, we learned that we had an estimated 20-30 minutes wait for a table. Their was six to eight customers waiting around the hostess's stand inside, with another six waiting outside under a covered area. We decided to wait outside, but after about 15 minutes a rain shower began. The kind people waiting on the benches and standing under the awning encouraged us to move in further from the edge where they we were getting wet. A couple standing moved into the restaurant to make even more room for us. The hostess, seeing that it was raining outside when this couple opened the door, came to the door and invited us all in, announcing that she would make room for us all. Which she promptly did. My wife had informed the hostess of my needs, and had requested a corner table for ease of access, but once inside the restaurant, I noticed that the table arrangement seemed less crowded, which helped to ease my concerns about getting to a table. As it happened, right at the 20 minute mark, we were informed that our table was ready, and we were led to a table, not on a corner, but to a table at the end of a row of tables, and against a partition. I found this arrangement even better than our requested corner table, as it meant that I had no foot traffic behind me that I might inadvertently bump into, or bump into me. I was grateful for the evidently experienced hostess working out such a fine alternative to our request, and doing it in such a timely manner. Now I get to the food, and wait staff service. All I can say is that Tamara's management has both pegged to the highest degree. Our waiter appeared immediately, took our orders since we had perused the menu while we were waiting to be seated. As for our food, my birthday girl had the Spinach Eggs Benedict, and I had the Fried Chicken and Waffles. Both were excellent. Neither of us had a single complaint, and my wife, who is fascinated with Tamara's long list of various types of Eggs Benedicts, promised that we will be back for many more visits to try each one. I am grateful that I was forced to forego my pledge not to patronize this establishment again, as it provided an opportunity to learn how the good people at Tamara's made adjustments that allowed my experience to be enjoyed more fully. I am also grateful in that we can continue to enjoy their excellent food.

Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing smoothly without ever feeling rushed. Timing on the food was spot on. For entrées, the chicken marsala was rich, savory, and full of flavor it was easily a highlight. My husband's steak and shrimp was also very well prepared and equally enjoyable.
