I usually do my own repairs but let's face it 2021 has been cold and I am getting too old to lay on the ground in the wintertime. I knew I needed a starter in my van as it had been acting up lately, I finally broke down and called a handful of shops. The first one that intrigued me was this shop, Midas on Kent rd., as the gentleman on the phone was kind, courteous, very helpful and quoted me a price over the phone for what I wanted fixed. My experience from the time I dropped off the van until I picked up the van was also very pleasant; I noticed the phone being answered on time and the employees stayed constantly working and courteous to the customers. When I spoke with the manager "Jason" (I think) there were no shenanigans, the van was fixed, and everything looked great. I will visit this Midas again with this staff, in my experience it's the people that make the company. Thanks Midas.

Well, where do I start...went in for a synthetic oil change, took the car back smelling like burnt…read moreoil. After reviewing what happened, they never put the oil filter in correctly. Oil all over my engine etc. Took the car back complaining about a burnt smell when using the defroster, they said my engine gasket bracket, the gaskets were old/broken I guess. I'm more than a month in and the smell is still there...took the car back in after sending a review to corporate. They then said the air filters need replaced, and this after spending over $1200, I'm still sitting with their problem. I've been a customer with this store for the last 8 years, they won't see me ever again. I've given them business for a long time.

Fast forward 10 weeks Jan 2026, 5,000 miles later I need a new battery, so I send my husband to take my car back to Goodyear to replace the battery while there they tell him the car needs front brake pads and rotors and he approves work not knowing I just had it done. Shady operation they either never did the brakes the first encounter or lied to us the second encounter. Once we called them out on this they became very nervous contacted the manager on the phone in back room and refunded our money for the brakes. I will never go back they are running a scam. I am 66 years old and this is the first complaint on any business I have ever posted that's how upset I am. I will be contacting the BBB and posting on all social media accounts how corrupt this place is. Please don't use them!

Then their dude did a one half ass hour look into it , told me it was done. I picked up my car after being 2 weeks at the shop, one hour to look at it , nothin wrong with it. Come n get it. Som bichin tire cracked off the arm ON THE WAY HOME!!! almost crashed. People pulled over to check on me. It was Trump/ Bidens 3rd debate that night. cold as f. dark . I waited 3 hours for a tow. Progressive told me to tow it to Marhoffer Collision. They replaced arm, tie rod, gimpy cracked part of the inner wheel. Replaced the entire wheel, tire, damaged lines. And Progressive paid for a loaner . 4 days later my car was done well, and right. Now Mike gave me honest advice. He said my car was rotting out and i should get my car to not pass the emissions testing, so i would only have to pay $.300.00 to fix my problem.
