Loved the huge bento box with fried chicken katsu, love that it had fried shrimp and mandu (dumplings) as well. Korean fried chicken was legit! Tender and crispy. I've driving by this place multiple times nd today I decided to try it out. I'm so glad I did! The ambiance inside was calm, clean and quiet. You order at the counter which was quick and easy and my food was out quickly. I got the tofu bowl with some spring rolls and the tofu is so good! I was craving chicken katsu and yelp recommended me here. The restaurant itself is nice & clean. We were greeted and helped by an older sweet lady. While waiting for our food we sat on one of the chairs. As we were waiting the lady greeted her regulars by their first name as they picked up their orders. It gave us high hopes that the food was gonna be really good. They gave a good portion of chicken katsu. I love that you also get shrimp tempura & mandu on the side. The plate also comes with rice, salad, and sauces for the tempura/mandu and katsu. To be honest I wouldve loved the bento better if the rice wasnt dry, but that could be my preference. Hopped in randomly since I was not looking for the typical fast food burgers that are readily available within the area. The restaurant was very clean and the lady at the counter was very nice. Picked out two items on the menu to share with family. The beef bulgogi bento meal and the soy garlic fried chicken wings. Was told it would take a little longer because of the wings. No problem. Got back home and shared the meal with the family. Was not a big fan of the beef bulgogi bento. The beef was swimming in sauce. Some may like that but for me it was too much. The rest of the bento meal was decent. The dumplings and shrimp tempura and rice were great. The soy garlic wings stole the show. Six decently sized, perfectly breaded, crispy wings with the right amount of sauce. Served hot and fresh with a side of rice (you can also choose salad or fries). This was a chance encounter for me and though I would rate it a 3.5 stars, I have a feeling if I came back I would be able to find other things to enjoy. Eaten here dozens of times, unfortunately the last time will be today. I Got immediately sick driving to work after eating their spicy pork, assuming food poisoning because only lasted 2 hrs after puking. Nothing horrible, but when I called to inform the restaurant what happened they denied it was their food multiple times. I was my only meal within 5 hrs. I love coming here. The food is always warm and served quickly, even when they are busy. The lady at the register is very kind. She even helped me box my food up when I had left overs. The restaurant is clean, has clean bathrooms and who ever is in charge of the music has a great playlist! Im vegetarian so I can't say much about the meats or shrimp but the veggies are always crisp and fresh, the rice is good and the tofu has great texture! read more

first time I came here the food was great total 4-5 star. next 3 times have been pretty unappetizing and this is coming from someone who isn't picky. I feel like there is a cook here that isn't actually trained and is cutting corners without the owner knowing. veggies taste and texture are like they've been left out, not freshly cooked, enough so I didnt want to finish the whole bowl which is rare for me. the salmon I ordered was incredibly dry and beef I've gotten previously had the taste and texture of being boiled. I feel like these are things that wouldnt fly with the owners.. idk if they know or if the cook behind the counter is cutting corners and getting away with it. With that cook Its a 2-3 star. not worth 15-20$ with a different cook on shift it's spot on totally worth it. right now it depends on who's cooking read more

Cute little bento spot in Aloha. I ordered the grilled chicken bento and it comes with salad, rice, 2 shrimp tempura and 2 fried potstickers. It's actually a lot of food for $13.50. Parking is simple enough, as it's in a strip mall adjacent to a dead supermarket. Even on Thursday Market or Classic Car Fridays, it's not like the lot will fill up. I would describe it as Just Another Korean/Japanese take-out place, not special. They're all over the place and it's easy to find one you like. While it does have inside seating, it's not the sort of place you'd hang out in for the ambience, so I think most people get take-out. read more

My husband and I LOVE this place. We routinely go here at least 3 days a week, and we are NEVER disappointed. We love the bowls.
